Is it heavy?
That's hard to gauge, what might be heavy for me may be ok for you. For me it wasn't so much the heaviness but the texture of the braids are coarse so it did irritate my back a little bit. I didnt realize till later in the day but a great tip is to soak the braids in ACV which will soften the hair.
