I am planning a trip to Nepal along with my family...I have watched plenty of videos on RUclips... however I found your video more reliable since I was looking for a budget trip...It's good to know that we can get bus from Panitanki to Kathmandu, since NBSTC Bus is cancelled, I was really worried about the route and transport possibilities... We are a group of 9 PPL travelling to Kathmandu on 13th Aug.
However we found that the bus that was running from Siliguri to Kathmandu (greenline) is not operating any more. Nbstc portal also shows no buses available.
Is there any alternative available?
We will reach NJP by 2pm. And then planning to travel to Kakkarvitta and asked our hotel to send a mini bus . But this is going to cost us 2500 per person
It would be better if you travel directly from NJP to Kakkarvitta by public transport. The cost is around 100 or 150/- per person. From there, you will find buses to Kathmandu available until 4 PM, or you can hire a Sumo for 9 people, which will cost around 1200/- to 1500/- from NJP to Panitanki.

sorry for late rply I exactly don’t know any route by nepal to Gangtok, as I know Siliguri is the main junction to travel Sikkim or Darjeeling.
