Bayern in TROUBLE & were Leipzig ROBBED vs Real Madrid? | UCL This Week

- A red card for Upamecano and a loss for Tuchel’s Bayern Munich as they fell 1 - 0 to Lazio in Rome. In Leipzig, Real Madrid escaped with a 1 - 0 win thanks to Brahim Diaz’s lovely goal, but Leipzig had reasons to feel hard done by when they had a goal disallowed just minutes into the game.

The last time a goalkeeper had 9 saves in Champions League was Cortouis at the 2022 UCL final
Big feat
but the quality of saves was way better with thibaut
@@user-ev6mx2ds9bI disagree
Justice for nagelsman
As a reff my self it is a offside. And the explanation is really simple. A player which is in offside position has no meaning, what so ever to touch any players from the opponent. Just being in offside position is violation, and touching the GK activates his position, no matter where the GK is, does hi can make a save or not. So in reality, it is really stupid, and not using a brain, as a professional like Henrichs, to go and touch somebody, where you are in offside position your self. And for the reffs, linesman has no feeling about how big of a touch is that, he sees the Henrichs offside, and rightly signals. And the main reff don't need to go to the monitors, because from the VAR room can tell him the information, that the linesman is right, and that Henrichs in that position was touching the GK. As I said, as a reff my self, this is right decision.
Your a bad referee, thank god you ajn'r reffing actualky matches that matter.
Refs like you destroy the game due to tour low iq and following the rules.
@@ifldiscovery8500and you're not even a ref so how unqualified does that make you?
@@Luis-kv8zc It's irrelevant if I am ref or bot i read the rules and applied the logic. Your argument is a fallacy if don't know.
@@ifldiscovery8500 so did he, so why is his opinion less valid than yours? Swine. I don't respect people who disrespect others just to justify their incorrect beliefs.
Finally someone with a brain
I have been saying it since day one
Tuchel is not a Bayern level, no where near Bayern level
The team lost their identity, their dominance over games, so boring and so predictable
Easy to strike their goal, this is ridiculous... I have disagreed with hiring tuchel as manager
People said to me "the starting 11 in Bayern are good with nagelsmann but the bench players are not doing good"
How about now? Neither bench players nor starting 11 are playing any sort of good football
Thomas tuchel was horrible with Dortmund, with psg and now with bayern
Some like to say "but he was good at chelsea and won thr ucl", excuse me but de mateo won the ucl with chelsea that doesn't make him any good of a manager.... AT ALL
I disagree with everything you said and comparing Tuchel to Di Matteo is beyond absurd.
@@david_yordanov its not that tuchel is just like de mateo
I'm saying giving credit and making tuchel something he isn't and over rating him just because he won a ucl doesn't mean anything as EVEN DE MATEO who's a nobody has won a ucl with chelsea so it doesn't count for anything
Well lets see who the bayern munchen board will agree with, my take or yours, Because as a german myself i found that what i said is not unpopular among the German bayern fans
He was horrendous with every single german club he ever managed, we know this guy since day one
@@Ananas-280 I’m a German speaking football fan who’s been following the Bundesliga for the better part of my life as well and i would even go as far as to say that maybe both parties were better off if they went separate ways.
And i do admit that i have previously misunderstood what exactly you were trying to say with the Di Matteo comparison.
But frankly spoken every single point of yours i find to be so bad and untrue.
He’s been excellent for Mainz and Dortmund how can one who says he followed Bundesliga in that time say something different
What did he do with dortmund lol@@david_yordanov
Tuchel got in to an UCL final with a team of thugs at PSG (no offense PSG fans) and the year after he won it by outcoaching Pep Guardiola.
He holds the tied highest points in average by a Dortmund squad as well.
His style might not fit the one usually played by Bayern but those problems we are now seeing weekly were there as Niko Kovacs, Hansi and the seagull were managers. It is just the culmination at this point of time.
Is it the managers fault that He does not get the players he requires for his system or that the current players forget to look over their shoulder whilst defending?
We all know that that is simply not true.
Bayern needs to change a lot of players or they need to change a lot of players as well as their manager.
Upamecano was not tippy-tapping, he was tippy-stomping on Isaksen's ankle.
Brahim’s goal was Messi esque
When Benzema's goal was cancelled in ucl final, no one had any arguments, no one wanted referee to review VAR. If the decision is against Madrid - all okay. In support of Madrid - its a controversy. Just sayin some facts!!
Was it a valid cancelation tho... if yes then stop crying
Exactly, facts brother
No, Benzema basically tackled Donarumma and no foul was called and Madrid scored…oh wait, you’re not bringing that up, my bad…yeah Madrid never benefit from bs calls 👍
Who’s here after Fabrizio confirmed Mbappe is leaving PSG?
This auto played after that video 😂
Same lol
I think we need to stop and appreciate anchelotti
I mean suffering with so many injuries so many midfielders missing out key players and ofcourse was denied every transfer options but he never complains.
why would he he has all the refs in his pocket

The disallowed goal is absolutely an offside thing, Henrichs is interfering with the play, he pushed Lunin forward, and he's offside whilst doing so. According to the law you mentioned, it's a clear offside. I wholly disagree with Lunin "not paying attention" to Henrichs, you can clearly see Lunin move forward due to the push by Henrichs. Without it, Lunin might've been able to go the right direction and get a hand on the ball. And even if Lunin had managed to go the right direction, Henrichs would've interfered with his movement. It's offside.
No
@@zewski3218yes
Wow back to back videos 🔥👍🏾
Impeded the keeper from getting back on his line
If there’s someone stood directly behind a goal keeper how are they not impending their movement towards where the ball is going ?
Did lunin try to go and save but was bothered by the offside player? Correct me if I'm wrong but lunin wasn't even close to the ball and literally tried to run back but he was too late and he wasn't even blocked by the Leipzig player
Its okay Buddy, no one will take any trophies away from real Madrid for this, this happened all the time specially against german teams
My favorite two teams are man city and real Madrid the two most clubs that people said are benefiting from ref decisions, nothing wrong with admitting that yes we did benefit from refs in some matches
Hell even a die hard Madrid player like kroos said it couple of times and so did rodri and kdb with man city
Check the video from behind the goal. Hendricks pushed Lunin from behind, enough to put Lunin out of position, thus impeding him.
Lunin was clearly being pushed in the video and couldn’t go back to his line because there was an entire player blocking his path to the goal
The Haaland comment is funny considering he scored a brace the match before lol
It is not the first time that Real Madrid got a decision in their favour i still remember the UCL final against Liverpool with the fouls of Karius and Salah. In La Liga there have been ALSO a lot of decisions made in their favour, just watch the win over Almeria some weeks ago.
I would like to say that Barcola been on fire at PSG as of late, not just slightly better
The RB player INTERFERES with Lunin. Its insanely clear. Are you allowed to interfere with play from an offside position?
Goal keeper was nowhere near the ball so it ain't impeding is it?
So you really decided to not listen to the explanation?
Vardrid fan spotted
@@jcfivepoint93 His explanation was trash. Clear offside.
If you're offside, don't touch the goalkeeper. It's as simple as that, and I don't understand why there's even a discussion. Clear offside interference.
To interfere lunin would have had to have the chance of reaching the ball or in some way impacting the play but as he was clearly out of reach that was not the case and he was not invloved in the play
If Lunin wanted to take a step back, he couldn't. Offside is called if it impacts the movement of the oponnent or his ability to challenge for the ball. Even if he can't possibly make the save, he still suffers an interference that prevents him from being in a better position to challenge for the ball. Plus, when the ball comes into the box, the player moves from Lunin's back and to the side of the ball, both cutting Lunin's path to move towards it and obstructing his vision. @@wideboii4523
when have you seen a goalkeeper face their back against the ball, the goalkeeper needs to backtrack so he can "challenge" the ball. come on it's not that hard to get fam. I'm losing my mind with the biased comments.
it's hard to find a neutral stand everyone hates the best team in the world.
If even Kroos is saying it’s a goal 🤷♂️
I won't even say he's hating but 0:57 he says lunin is nowhere near getting to the ball which is true but you are a keeper you just cleared your lines with a punch you now want to get back to the center of your goal and close to the goal line so I don't understand why he thinks lunin would of made a play on the ball instead of retreating back to his goal.
Is kroos the ref? No! Every player has there opinion, but the fact is an offside player interfered the goalkeeper from stepping back and "challenging" the ball. It's simple I don't know why it's so hard for everyone to understand. Everyone hates on the goalkeeper if they concede it's only right that the goalkeeper is protected.
That player should have never been behind or near lunin. No point. So it's his fault for being in that position when the goal was scored
that disallowed goal is 50/50 so i could see it going either way, not reviewing on VAR was the sus part. Bayern on the other hand 😂😂😂 crazy how tuchel has turned them into a shitshow
Still don’t understand how people don’t get it wasn’t a goal for leipzig. It wasn’t a foul Adrian it was called for offside, lunin wasn’t able to get into position in net to make a save someone was behind him so he couldn’t back up, he wouldn’t have caught the cross before hand I agree with that but the guy behind stopped him from getting into a good position.
The call was good
For mbappe’s goal traore was actually off the field with an injury he then came back in but sociedad were in 10 for that goal
Next weeks games are all fire...
Yeah, two Italy vs Spain ties (Inter vs Atletico and Napoli vs Barca).
@@ezraezra2928 And we'll get to see FC Porto smashing Arsenal's hopes.

@@ezraezra2928 How so? Arsenal were eliminated in by Sporting CP in last year's Europa League. FC Porto is a greater club than Sporting, historically at least.
Lunin couldnt get to the ball but he can get back to his goal
6:29 the ball was behind Haaland, a header would have been impossible
VARdrid trying to stay afloat as usual in their competition
Toney interfered with Ake coming bsck from an offside position and did indeed stop him from able to head the ball. Most of us were given the explanation that because toney did not move towards the ball, it wasn't offside. But now Sesko's goal is offside?
toney did move towards the ball. prem refs are incompetent like that
not having a shot on target by Bayern cannot be on TT, that's all on the players
I hate Tuchel with a passion. Guy just blames the players. He’s a terrible fit for Bayern. However the Bayern board is really to blame, Nagalsmann should have never been sacked.
Clear offside by Liepzig. You're being ridiculous. Kroos was trolling lol.
pushes the keeper out of position
11:41 you mean upamecano will not be there to make things worse. maybe tuchel will finally start de ligt 🙄
For what it's worth, there is a VERY similar goal scored by Acerbi in Roma-Inter just this past Sunday that was given. IMHO they're both offsides, as they are both interfering with play. The goalie cannot move with 100% freedom because there is a player on him, that is textbook interference.
Thank you for pointing this out!
As a Roma fan I agree with what De Rossi said at the end of the match.
These kinds of off-sides seem very fiscal and this leads to inequality in judgement.
Then of course how they are applied leads to speculation over why the top clubs always get these decisions in the way it suits them the most.
DeBruyne had 2 assists in the match
You did your research on Bayern. Looking forward to the Tuchel sacking.
Haaland can’t buy a goal? He scored TWICE last game…

What’s with this new thing where GKs are so protected they can just be touched and it’s a foul? I swear back as recent as 2019 GKs were meant to be brave, strong and commanding
cringe Why not talk about henry saying it isnt a goal if you're showing kroos? also knowing goalies are protected and the player blocking lunin it makes perfect sense why it was ruled off and is actually consistent with the way most games are reffed
Henrichs being there clearly limits lunins option to save that header. Lunin could have made a wonder save for all we know. Isn't that shows that henrichs interfering with opponents?
Curse is real
Sera que podes fazer um video a comparar as seleções Inglesa e Portuguesa? O Alfie do HITC Sevens, fez um video a dizer que a seleção inglesa é a segunda melhor, a seguir à francesa… O que achas?
You're lying. Lunin called for the ref to call the foul as soon as play ended. Stop lying.
It just slight jostle to Lunin, i hate when football do this. This is softy !
Greetings from a weekend in Lublin! Picked up a new scarf of the local club Motor Lublin! That's like gravy, but pizza.
Could you do a video about how pepe is still playing so goot at 41
He can't because he saw Arouca Vs FCPORTO... And a video like that would be lying
I haven’t seen a single person who complains about the offside give a reason why it wasn’t offside. They just say VARdrid and papa Perez is paying the refs 😂
The question how many refs goes in the favour of Madrid? Since it has continued its no coincidence. Few weeks ago it was Almeria and barca. The Madrid UCL 3 peat was filled with alot of poor calls. The ref never went to a VAR to confirm an impact with the GK also.
To me, it’s just insane that Mattson scored against City. I’m from Nijmegen and he only just left NEC. I support Ajax, but NEC being my hometown club is special. I have watched a match there once. And I’ve had vaccinations there.
Little contact is still contact and the decision was correct.
Why is it that every controversial decision has to go in RMadrid's favor?
I'll answer my own question, Because of broadcasting revenue.
They (UEFA etc) want to RMadrid to keep playing as many matches as possible to milk the CL broadcasting revenue.
its only controversial to people who doesnt understand the rules
@@Muhammad88525 & why some people always make simple things controversial let me answer this question because they don't have brain to understand simple things
everyone amplifies decisions that go in Madrid’s favour and ignore bad decisions that go against them because they’re Real Madrid
Yeah go and watch RMadrid matches regularly!
The reality is that whenever big decision goes in favor of Madrid, people complains a lot. But never acknowledges any wrong decisions that goes against them. Or people are simply ignorant about it.
If that had of been a Real Madrid "goal", it would have 100% stood.
1st comment
Is it just me or is this the least exciting champions League season in years?
Way too early to tell
Real would probably have won it either way, but I cannot see how that is an offside..
Impeding the goalkeeper? Really?
If that is the case then every corner ever taken should have it's following goal disallowed since there are players nearby "impeding or disturbing" the goalkeeper.
Goalis.. Freakin' holy cows of the game!
It's the rules you can't complain about a rule
If you’re in offside position, just don’t touch the goalkeeper. It is as simple as that .
