What s the round drill bit called though? I want one of those? I could squat up the hole quicker with my hammer and scutch quicker than the square box cutter
Everybody all of the sudden a square hole expert.
Nice
That's why we have rounded socket boxes with square covers...
how you going to run the wires now, cant go in the side or back, you have 2x3 studs, just mount to back of block and run wires in the side,
At 2:00, now you have to fix the loose block.
bet it only works on butter
...
Exactly that was a block wall big deal do it on a concrete wall
@Jonny Mosquito Strawman at Large Hi, I paied for order # 100001665 and it marked as completed and I did not receive it and Unfortunatly nobody reply to my emails
And that's reason why in Europe we using round socket box. Than you can stop work at one minute mark with perfect round hole... 😂
In my country all of our boxes are rhombus shaped
Lol joke's on you! This vid was made In Europe!
In America we don't need to cut holes for outlets in concrete since our homes interior walls aren't concrete making your point pointless.
@@randybobandy9828 But you Americans like to use the most flammable structural material possible (wood) and then connect electrical cables directly to the kindling- I mean 2x4s. Not to mention the rot, insect damage, fact that wood is vulnerable to moisture, the fact that its generally weaker than other materials like steel or concrete. This is why Americans are impressed when a building lasts 250 years while the rest of us have structures that last a millennium
@@bacilluscereus1299 No it isn't. It is out of the European Union, not Europe as a continent.
how does it work on other concrete. or is it only good for cinder?
You answered the question himself)
Have a look on our website at the Brickmaster cutter, this is better suited for harder masonry.
frank w I don't know anyone that has any loose p.o.s. blocks like that one. Holy crap. my condolences to the block. Fred Flintstone I guess would be happy .
Maybe thats why we have always used round electric "box" because it's much easier to drill round hole.
also how in gods name do u get wire to that box u cant cut the channels for the conduit
it sucks? explain what you mean and where are you from to judge the American electrical field?
lol you are crazy man, our grid is not buried everything else are, so you are saying all of your high voltage are buried? 115kv?
scwfan06 Couldn't agree more, and they still uses boxes of steel some places. We stopped with that shit 40 years ago. And don't forget their screws on switches and etc. They're also from the 60s.
actually, most of the wiring is dune onderground, and yes, even high voltage stuff, isn't possible in any other way in the city
even in smaller towns the powergrid is entirely underground, the only free hanging powerlines are either on the country or for really long distances connecting the city to the power source
and lanterns are powered underground since the 80's at the least, most likely even longer, no matter where, even in the most remote villages
also, many small villages are equipped with LED street lights now
amazing works
So what are square holes used for?

This pilot drill why so deep ? I use angle grinder 6, cuts.
This is not just any ordinary Dewalt cordless drill. It's a Dewalt hammer drill. Impressive.
It's not a hammer drill, it's a rotary hammer. You can tell by the shaft of the bits. A hammer drill bit would have a smooth shaft, where the shaft on the bits have slots, making them a version of SDS (Special Direct System, first developed by Hilti and Bosch), either SDS Plus or SDS Max. Based on what I'm seeing, it looks like SDS Plus, SDS Max is much bigger.
saw you in tv Event in rich. Goid idea but looks like not solid. Also, we need a diferent size of square hole. Btw, I cut faster by hand if the wall is plasterboard :p

It's a cordless SDS drill which is a cordless drill... TECHNICALLY its a cordless SDS rotary hammer drill but its still a cordless drill
You're an idiot trying to sound smart.
Very impressive!
What is the large round bit called? I need to purchase that in the USA and I’ve never seen it before
I was wondering the same thing. It’s like a foster a bit but for concrete.
I spent a whole week trying to find an inch and a half version of that. Check McMaster Carr and every place nothing
Which sat on ebay do you have?
hehe i like it
how to buy the wall chesar grooving mechine
That cordless drill is for light/medium - hammer/chisel use. You need a more powerful corded drill to carry out the job correctly, hence why it's not working effectively.
Pretty clever
Te daría un Masó y cortafrio. Destructor de herramientas
wonder how it would work on cured concrete. not the green uncured concrete in this video
MOST OF THESE TOOLS ARE GREAT ON CINDER BLOCK. BUT HOW ABOUT ON POURED HIGH PRESSURE RATED CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS ? JUST ASKING !
Ok how you bring in the conduit
Remove the K.O. you want to use, mark the wall and drill straight through to the other side.
isnt that defeating the point... why not just run the conduit on the wall ...
So this is for flush mount boxes?
Does cutting a hole like this have any appreciable effect on the structural strength of the wall?
Will this work on solid concrete wall. I need to cut through concrete wall to install 8 down spouts.
Hi Michael, yes it will work on concrete, you can call us on 01142691666 for more info
Will this work on Marble?
and,,,,,bust the block loose
How to got this type
Ok so how do you wire it?
hole cutter where it is available..
I have no square holes to cut... but I need this
God, all the comments I read are so critical and bitchy. I’m going to thank the person for posting. Appreciate it. Even though I was really trying to find a way to do exactly this with a branch or log. Onward I search.
and from where are the cables coming inside the box?
This is just a demonstration video to show the tool working, so obviously there are no incoming wires. The blocks were held in place with a specially made steel frame so we could drill and test the product fully by replacing the blocks.
So with box recessed in brick like that..........how do you get the wire into box?
shane j Simple, clip/cap your cables to the box (in zone of course) then knock out a bit of the brick on the top/sides/bottom where the cables will enter.
With great tools anything is possible. Makes me wish the electrical company I worked for wasn’t a bunch of cheap bums
Final step IGNORE THE BLOCK BECOMING LOOSE.
top esta nao vem para brasil😲😲😲😲😲😭😭😭
Put some grease on yah bit ! Dry as great Sandy
cut hard brick wall??
Que costo tiene
paperwall :D :D :D
Is this for applications where you don't want to run conduit over the top of the cinder block? I take it you would then be drilling behind the box to run your cables? Otherwise, I don't see the point of this...
In the U.K and Ireland this is the standard Box size in your home and cinder block would be the norm thus the reason for the rough out.... the walls are chased with a little trech cut into same to carry the cables to that box
behind the block wall could be an interior wall where they frame it out and get your feed up from there. they wouldnt invent it if there was no purpose.

That's some serious voodoo
That concrete does not look very solid. That blade is way too thin to be strong enough to be able to hammer drill 5,000 PSI concrete. Something about this looks fishy.
thats because this is a cinder block, not concrete.
Richard did you fail English class?
Aww, you flatter me, sir.
Give the gamer kid a break. he probably did fail English. maybe he will have some sense when he grows up.
Richard Wills gonna give you a proper fucking like the dirty slag you are.
Great video mate, strong and sturdy. Is that the D25330K model?
# D25330k
If your on a new job sight now go and ask the bricky to relay all them bricks around it mmm
Should be lunch time now
Do it on solid brick and il be impressed lol
Umm thats IS a SOLID cinderblock. Its been poured already
that's right, it goes in the square hole
My dentist has one of these
By drilling, you mean hammering out. Lol

now confirm the Illuminati and do a triangle hole
The electrician that came to us last week spent ages beating out all the holes for sockets with a blunt bolster and a claw hammer, didn't even have a lump hammer. The noise drove me fucking nuts. 'TING, TING, TING, TING, TING, TING', etc for ages. This would have saved time, money and my ears If he comes back I'm defo gonna' show him this vid :-)
Shoud've hire one from new wave electricians, bluetooth impact, rotary hammers, laser pointer is a must now ;-)
pretty intresting seeing all theese kind of channels using dewalt tools. here in sweden thoose are sold at "bargain bills" and considered at best a real shit brand of tools.
What do you guys use then? May be that the DeWalt products that you guys get are manufactured differently than what we have here in the states.
Super cool, please tell us lowly Americans some more stories of your superiority!
ALL OF MY STUFF IS MILWAUKEE,
HOWEVER I WOULD ALSO SERIOUSLY CONSIDER
DEWALT!
You people are morons. Dewalt makes great tools.
Just needs a drill now with more joules.
It wont work on my house coz the wall too compact to be square chiseling
That Dewalt chuck shaft will be quickly damaged.
Why
Check Oxford dict for drill meaning
I tried this POS and my wall fell down...WTF
Next video will demonstrate how to get your wires in that box
where met this item
I guess I will be the first to ask.... BUT WHY
Triggered when I see a power tool box left open on site . When you are hacking into masonry even worse .
Not bad if you want tu f...up yur powertool!
Screw all that noise. Just surface mount all your conduit and boxes!
Do this on a concrete.
no good could do by hand!
you can do it by hand, but this tool hopefully could save you time and effort.
Do that on concrete 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Why?

Use an angle grinder works the same and cheaper
FAI PRIMA MARTELLO E SCALPELLO MANUALE
Was that like 1000 psi concrete or less 😂
Bet that's grout not cement
This is not working properly.
How can i get this machine in Pakistan
www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=+Quadcut+Square+Hole+Cutter+-&_sacat=0
Hi, you can buy one over the phone, but the delivery charge is usually quite high, around £80.00.
took long enough
That's not drilling, that's chisling.
Ehhmmm...where is the pilot hole gonna be after taking out the circle?.... Get this... But that last chissle thing isn't in any pilot hole or straight trug tongue neighbors
So that's how you fit a square peg in a round hole....
Basically drill a round hole and chisel the rest square. No square drill.
Easy enough to do in a nice soft cinder block, not so easy in real concrete. Makes recessing a box easy, but you still can't recess conduit or wire to it. Nice try, but not worth it.
#shartstains #whyme?
Who knew?
or you could just use an angle grinder, a diamond blade, and the good old fashioned chisel. Just as quick and no special expensive tool required.
I'd get the sack if I turned up for work with that kit. Pissing about changing the attachments for one bleeding single back box. The time it took him to chop that backbox in, I and any other competent spark would of had at least 3-4 chopped in with a good old hammer drill and bolster attachment. Waste of money and time consuming.
G
what a prat
If you are using hammer mode, you are not "drilling". Just saying
dictionary:
1. a hand tool, power tool, or machine with a rotating cutting tip or reciprocating hammer or chisel, used for making holes.
just saying
Just saying
The word drill came from an old dutch word called drillen, Witch literally meant "turning to get deeper" or something close to that (this is what my great grandfather tells me)
so to add to that, Drilling is not the same as chipping :) Idgaf what the dictionary says, they arent right about everything no matter how many people believe it
Or you could’ve just surface mounted the box and maintained the integrity of the block.
Make it even triangle fucking genius. Good luck with normal no-gas concrete.
So it's a jackhammer.
