My intuition feels like Madge was loyal to Anne. I can’t see her betraying her, unless Anne really was a bad judge of character and trusted in someone didn’t deserve that trust. If Madge was actually a mistress to Henry, Anne didn’t send her away after he was done with her, so that makes me think there wasn’t animosity between the two women. I do remember reading that Lady Anne Shelton (nee Boleyn) was angry with Anne because she possibly encouraged Madge to ‘flirt’ with Henry.
I feel like Margaret Wyatt and Madge Shelton were likely some of Anne’s best allies in her circle, among a few others, and I’d like to think they were there at the execution to give her comfort, although there’s no conclusive evidence.

Anne was an extremely bad judge of character. She engaged in a years long affair with Henry which led to her death.
Anne was educated and certainly could be scheming but doesn’t seem to have been that bright in her personal life. She was a woman who sought wealth, fun and pleasure and often seemed to be blind to the true nature of those around her, and she often flew off the handle when people did things that she should have been able to predict (ie throwing a fit when Henry took mistresses, despite having been a mistress herself and having watched Henry take multiple mistresses before including her sister)

Imo Henry Norris didn't want the kings leftovers. I believe this is what Henry and Norris argued about after the May Day joust. That convinced king Henry that Henry Norris was guilty. Henry Norris was older than the king, and he was still jousting. I think Mark Smeaton was handsome and talented and Henry viii was jealous. I think he overheard the impotence of Henry viii.

Silly of him, given marrying the king’s ex mistress was usually very financially beneficial and since her money was your money, was a great way to make money. And if you hate the wife, just take a mistress.

thus sounds like ai wrote parts of it. remove a testament to ALWAYS! Its fine to use ai to polish but in many places this comes off as mechanical. Maybe try a pass making it sound more like Starkey? He has a great mastery of written English language. It might help remove the mechanical taste from your prose.
