The cure is the only band that reminds me of that beautiful feeling of youth. That's the time where you discover the most things about yourself and your surroundings. Being in love for the first time and all the weird mixture of feelings we experience for the first time . It fills my heart with happiness and at he same time with huge nostalgia. I love the cure♡
This song reminds me of fridays at a job i hated. As soon as I got to work I'd play it on my computer to feel happy, and when 5:30pm hit, id run out and drive 6 hrs to see the girl I was in love with. Although that girl and love are long gone from my life, the happy feelings and memories still remain when I hear this song.

Dear Victor, I am an English teacher in Colombia, and for about 7 years now, I have been using your lyrics video for "Friday I'm in Love" to guide my students in a shared Friday ritual. After all this time, I just want to say, THANK YOU!!!! It has been a great help, and over the course of the years, students always remember me with this song. Also, I really love that at the end of the video, you say: "My favorite Song!" Keep Rockin'!!!

Possibly, and just guessing, not wanting to start an argument; you might have had a relationship with someone who only wanted to ba a clue on the weekends. Kind of what I get from this song. I like it though, in a weird way.
Anastasija Zabielina I’ve got a song by The Goo Dolls that makes me sad due to a love that I didn’t know was good. Childhood trauma messed it up for me. I didn’t know how great she was since ive been so used to women who walk all over me. For some reason the song “black balloon” by the Goo Goo Dolls gets me. But then again it came on the radio when I was driving through Vegas where she lived :( This part gets me the most “And there's no time left for losin' When you stand they fall, yeah Comin' down the world turned over And angels fall without you there And I go on as you get colder All because I'm Comin' down the years turn over And angels fall without you there And I'll go on and I'll lead you home and All because I'm All because I'm And I'll become What you became to me.” That last part gets me every time and I’m trying to become what she became to me. I’m trying to get through my trauma and become as loving as she was. She was amazing and I wish I could get her back. Truly the most amazing beautiful woman who has ever treated me the way I’ve always wanted. It’s sad what our past experiences and trauma can do to us. I could’ve got her back too but I thought I would mess it up again. I wish you the best Kerri!!!

I'm not a very nostalgic person, but this song is one of the few exceptions that makes me feel super nostalgic and emotional. I don't know what it is. This song is also featured in my favourite game that I'm playing right now, Metal Gear Solid 5. It plays sometimes in the background while walking around a certain platform at your home base, and it makes me feel suuuper emotional for no reason. I'm only 31 years old, a 90's kid, but this song makes me feel like a middle-aged person reminiscing growing up in the 80's. It's a weird feeling, but I love it. Bravo, The Cure. Bravo.
i remember the first time i heard this song, i was in the car with my family driving home after my brother had graduated highschool and we had just eaten at a diner where i ate some lava cake. I was starting to fall asleep, and the this song came on in the radio. The melodies in the intro i heard while i had my eyes closed and was about to fall asleep made me feel a way i cannot describe. Even if the members of The Cure hate this song, I think it's great. Also, obligatory MGSV comment, this was the first song that played when I visited Quiet's cell on Mother Base. Which is the reason that I wanna be her friend, bcuz anyone who listens to The Cure is a friend of mine.
I was looking for the MGSV comment. xD Because of who I am as a person (i.e. a hopeless fangirl) this song makes me think of Venom and Quiet. It also makes me think of Pequod, because The Fighting Irishman over on Fanfiction has me convinced the pilot and sniper are pals and he lends her all his music.
Tara Franklin Would explain how Quiet got a hold of a The Cure tape and brought it to her cell. ...WAIT I JUST REALIZED. THIS SONG CAME OUT IN 1992. HOW DID THEY GET A COPY OF IT!?
That's why I love his Diamond Dogs headcanons. XD IT'S METAL GEAR, LOGIC REALLY DOESN'T HAVE A PLACE. After a while, you just stop asking these questions.

Where there's a will, there's a way, kind of beautiful
And every night has its day, so magical
And if there's love in this life, there's no obstacle
That can't be defeated
For every tyrant a tear for the vulnerable
In every lost soul the bones of a miracle
For every dreamer a dream we're unstoppable
With something to believe in
Monday left me broken
Tuesday I was through with hoping
Wednesday my empty arms were open
Thursday waiting for love, waiting for love
Thank the stars it's Friday
I'm burning like a fire gone wild on Saturday
Guess I won't be coming to church on Sunday
I'll be waiting for love, waiting for love
To come around
WORD:)
I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday, I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love
Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Oh, Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday, I'm in love
Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate
I don't care if Monday's black
Tuesday, Wednesday, heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It's Friday, I'm in love
Monday you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday, stay in bed
Or Thursday watch the walls instead
It's Friday, I'm in love
Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate
Dressed up to the eyes
It's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throw out your frown
And just smile at the sound
Sleek as a shriek, spinning 'round and 'round
Always take a big bite
It's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It's Friday, I'm in love
I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday, I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love
Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday, break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday, I'm in love

I'll cherish this song forever and a day.
I can’t wait for Friday now.
Who else is rocking with me? 🤘
Okay, I was born on Friday😂
(Beautiful song by the way)
I love this song!
One of the unique song i've ever seen.
2019!! Who's listening to this?
Why the question?
Stop these stupId comments! No one cares what year you're listening to songs!
I'm happy to say I'm listening in 2020
what about 2020
The songs I discover from movies hit so different 💯. I'm here because of The umbrella Academy season 3❤️
Really glad my parents raised me on this.
honestly same, i've heard this throughout my childhood. i'm 13 now.
The 80's from UK and US the most beautyfull songs ever in life
Even if the members of The Cure hate this song, I think it's great.
XD
IT'S METAL GEAR, LOGIC REALLY DOESN'T HAVE A PLACE. After a while, you just stop asking these questions.
Explanation: Nanomachine, son.
I also heard this at quiet’s cell, I think she plays this because she is in love with “big boss” ( you may now why I used “” )
It's 1/18/19 and i'm listening and loving it
