    This is very helpful! Question - Wouldn't the Landsat 8 Forest Fire analysis bands for SWIR2, NIR & Red be 7-5-4 not 7-4-3?

      Cool,.I think this is one of the easiest method, you can also develop automatic processing workflow for this kind of analysis
