  • In this session you will use the Near Infrared and Short Wave Infrared bands to compute a normalized burn ratio after computing spectral reflectance. You will then compute a difference Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR) from pre-fire and post-fire NBR indices to map burned pixels in a wildfire that burned near Big Delta, Alaska.

    I would like to map the burned areas as shown in this video. I wonder where I can find the Mississippi folder, you keep talking about. Thank you.

    I have one doubt why are you multiplying the nbr equation by 1000....after following your steps and using using our sun elevation angle for L8 we are getting total black image for NBR. Can you suggest what could be the issue.

    Hi there, thanks for the tutorial. I have a question, hopefully you can help. I tried to find the information about the reflectance_mult_band. in my metadata file but it seems does not exist. Can you help me... Thanks
