Kofi’s father is to being the blessing to his son! You can being to see him pray for son! Kofi’s family faith brought young man back from the edge of death.❤
I'm am so thankful that Kofi survived his terrible injuries & recovered completely...he is such a sweet-sounding child & loved very much by his Mom & Dad!! Blessings for a wonderful, fulfilling life!!
Kofi and his parents are so strong! Much respect for them
Yeah I couldn’t agree more with you on that. He’s got quite an amazing spirit about him. 🙂❤️
Kofi is an ANGEL on Earth. What a beautiful soul.
Wow, what an episode.
Kofi has great parents.
I am happy for Kofi.
Nadine : Ohh I am soooo pretty. Nooot
Off topic, but does anyone know if Dr. Chris is a Kiwi? I hear it in her vowels 🙂
Sounds like it!
Who else googled roger laverne? Sadly he died in 2013 from prostate cancer. But he was a famous keyboardist from a music group called the tornadoes.. R.I.P to a great man.
Couldn't help but google him. RIP 😔
he annoyed the heck out of me
Yeah I was curious too. Rip
It was rather uncomfortable hearing him tell everyone about himself.
I did.
The hardest thing I have ever done is watching my daughter die at age 33yrs old. Losing a child ages you more than anything else. I wish that I could have 1 more day with her she was my best friend, and I am broken 💔 😔 😢
So sorry for your loss 💜
Thank you for your time it means the world to me. I wish that it was me and not her, but she has her wings now, and she is not in pain anymore 💔
@@deborahnance5281 blessings and love 💜
I'm sorry for your loss. How has this happened?
❤❤❤❤
Pitty her because she's got a teensy little scar on her cheek? 😄🙈
Scar most attractive feature on her face...as for her self absorbed attitude...awful!🤦🏻♀️🎻🎭🧻
That girl whinging all the way yet calling herself strong is really grating... I seen a woman with half her face sliced off by her steroid-amped boyfriend and she didn't shed a tear because she didn't want to make her sister worry. That, is being strong. And yes, the boyfriend was arrested and punished and they are no longer a couple.
I was so happy to hear Kofi speak. And to say how much he loved his daddy made me cry. What a lovely boy.
Kofi is a beautiful child, for sure.
I hope Nadine watches this and realizes how petty her worries were compared to the young boy. Her priorities are so far off from reality that it's not even funny. Shameful really.
Nadine is a self claimed beauty which as we know is only skin deep....shallow as can be
She's young and immature.
No she’s not vain at all lol deliberately keeping her top lifted thinking the doc wants to see that. Lol
Amazing that the boy recovered! Thanks to a wonderful team of medical personnel 🥳👍❤️ Kudos to all of them!!! 🌷👍❤️
Roger Lavern was a dreamy hunk back when! He's still adorable! Great band, the Tornados. Sadly he passed away at 75.
That's the doctor I would want. She is calm and professional when at the bedside and with Kofi's parents.
I am not guessing her age but with age comes maturity and wisdom and she is a consultant for a reason, she knows her stuff and how to handle next of kin contact but I agree amazing work, if I should hassard a guesse might be 30+ years in the buisness.
@@davidchristoffersen1404 "with age comes maturity and wisdom" - I guess you have not met many old people
I can see why that guy has 8 wives. He’s complaining while bragging. It’s insufferable.
I remember when my daughter was mauled by a dog when she was little I was so distraught they had to sedate me. She had over 30 stitches to her face but healed beautifully. She's 20 now and unless you already know she's got scars they're not noticeable. I always told her she could have plastic surgery for her scars but she said no they're a part of me and who I am and I don't want to get rid of that
I think Rodger was a bit lonely
He had a great life And now he may just be alone and sad. Oh wait he passed. Rip dude
Why would you glass someone in the face? What the heck is wrong with some people that they think glassing a teenager is a thing that needs to be done?
After seeing Her get treated by the doctors, I can’t see why he did it.
"I'm a strong girl" whinges about a few stitches and "blood everywhere"......bless her
“Strong girl” is to being the bleat from the few stitching. Hoping she never is to being the have real pain. 🙄
@@kulyk_ukrainePain is subjective. It could’ve really hurt her, even if it wouldn’t to others. Shouldn’t minimise how someone feels pain.
@@laurahamilton4554 yes. I am to be the sorry. I am to be strange of person to watch my stitches. But I am to be the terrified to birth baby! Women are the STRONG!
@@laurahamilton4554 Also I am to think some of persons are to get more of afraid seeing the wound blood. My father is to be like that. He see it and have the faint. Not see blood he is to be fine
I can’t toddler having a fit. 🙄
Roger seems pretty arrogant. You'd think after all he's been through he'd have some humility.
Narc
I love this series. Bless all of the patients and the relatives. Big blessing for all the hospital workers
What a fantastic consultant, Chris is so calm and professional. All the team are just fantastic, well done nhs
Love this show... I am in America and is interesting to see how medical people Do their jobs in other countries....
Major contrasts in this episode. From very sad to very shallow 😜
How wonderful that Kofi survived such a traumatic injury. How wonderful his parents are.
Oh Kofi, such heartbreaking to see him and his father so broken. I am watching it now, but I see from the comments that he recovered. Thank you Jesus for watching over this son of yours!
Kofi is adorable and introspective. What a great smile, too.
Yes, his mum and dad should be really proud.
Nadine is so up herself. So shallow
I did find her antics really stoopid, not to mention that she bragged what a strong woman she is but whined the whole time getting her average face stitched up 😅
She’s young. Come on.
Patients like Kofi are why King"s was turned into a proper trauma center. Nadine is hilarious. I'm glad she decked the guy that cut her.
Roger can't blow his own horn loud enough. He can't stop going on about how special he is. It's irritating.
Older people, especially those who have done extraordinary things, tend to relive their glory days. I hope that when you are old you will have something as wonderful to reminisce about.
Kofi has wonderful parents and I don't doubt he'll grow up to be an outstanding young man
Let' hope that England's future is filled with kids like Kofi and not street-fighting thugs.
Working in trauma unit is so hectic. I wanted all hands on deck on Kofi & then more patients just kept flooding in🤦♀️ The staff is really amazing 👏🏽
I am so glad for kofi!!!!!!
Roger Taylor passed away peacefully from cancer at the age of 74. Thank you Roger for the music.
How can you be a trained hairdresser at 16??? In my country, it takes 3 years.
She comes off as being more trained in her own vanity. She speaks otherwise but.....
In my country you can take those corses in high school and graduate with the license and go straight into the work force
Kofi and his wonderful family hit me square in the feels. Bravo to all those who worked so diligently to save his life 🙏🏻👌🏻
I, being of a certain age, found hearing Roger Lavern very interesting...the younger generations tend to ignore history (not all but many)...he lived an interesting life & it's too bad when people pooh-pooh us who are older.
I looked him up. He really was married 8 times, so yes, he had a very interesting life. Lol
I remember the song ("Telstar") from when I was a little kid. How very bizarre to see him here.
I have it on an LP
Wow when his dad was thinking if he had done something previously 💔exactly what I thought 18 years ago this month when I lost my firstborn at 21 years old three days after his 21 birthday on the 18 of February to a car accident 21 of February 😭💔💔. It’s absolutely breathtaking and it totally changes you prospective of what’s important and that was his siblings as a mom priority absolutely change. We as a family are grateful and thankful for him and every day❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. 💜
Who else googled the Tornados? And yes I remember their record & I'm sure most people will. And I wasn't even born in the 50s. Amazing
Just did. Very cool story. Sad they didn't catch the cancer earlier. :(
I enjoyed that old man's tales about his life. I also am so glad that Kofi made it
Cool❣️ I remember TELSTAR❣️
We need more parents like Kofi’s parents - beautiful family❣️
I have an album copy on an LP.
Telstar is a great song! I was so very happy to see young Kofi doing so well!
I cringed everytime that chap said “I’m famous. Look me up!”
He actually was very famous in his day. He played with some amazing talent, Elvis, Olivia Newton-John, and Billy Fury to name some.
I wish Kofi's parents could have had a more comfortable place to wait for news
They have relatives rooms but I can understand if they wanted some fresh air and chose to sit by the door.
How did Nadine at 16 manage to get into a bar?
First time my friends and I snuck in a bar I was 14 yoa! Drank one beer and we left. The owner was this crazy dude that wore a gun and would shoot up the ceiling at any given time. I was friends with him and his partner as an adult...and I was always safe with crazy Charlie around. Nobody dared to mess with me in his bar or even the town.
Kofi I hope U & your parents are doing great 2day. I know this is a very old episode, that doesn’t matter. That heart inside is pure gold
What a vain person that Nadine was. There was a little boy fighting for his life and she is was worried about a scar on her face.
She’s young. She doesn’t know any better yet.
It was a silly display of "oh everyone pay attention to meer" ugh
Everybody has their own emergency, her emergency is that she might have a scar because she is extremely self conscious about her face. Kofi's emergency is a brain injury. She doesn't have to worry about a brain injury because she wasn't injured in a car wreck.
@@jujubug2000 exactly!
She probably has no idea what is going on for other people in ED, she's young, she hasn't got much life experience yet, for her, that experience was scary and traumatic. In a few more years with more life experience, it will probably be more in perspective.
Here in Sweden we can go to a health centers and get emergency care with non-life-threatening care instead of go to a busy emergency department at the hospital's , so they can take care of the real emergency cases .🤔
Wow! NHS angels so caring and compassionate, not judgmental. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of some of the commentators.
Nadine needs to get a grip.
She is a vain girl who should not have been in a bar. Where are her parents?
Normal in the UK for 16 year old kids to be in bars unfortunately 🙄
Judge much!?!?😂
Kofi and his parent's oh my, my heart went out to them. My oldest was a premie and was in NICU and both his lungs collapsed they just put you in a room and we heard nothing for hours it was just crushing to our hearts. So happy he recovered!
I remember Telstar. I love it. ❤️
Just Googled that song - I remember it being played here in the US!
I remember the music from this group,l loved the record and my little brother was petrified of it.
Apparently Roger died in June 2013. Yet this has still been a very enjoyable video documentary. My English mother used to tell me all about the teddy boys! I had lived in England for quite a long time. As all cities change with time and population expansion, the country is not the same that I remember.
telstar, oh yeah the iceskating number, remember skating around and around
As a former Fire Engineer/EMS, spent plenty time in ER during handover, these people dedicated to A&E are Human Angels 😇
Peace-out 🌈🌎💞
Hopefully time has taught Nadine that life is not all about looks and faces. Yes, she is pretty, but she is not all that.
The UK is looking and sounding more and more like the USA, thank goodness I’m Australian.
Oh my days, is he carried a magazine that show who is the Tornado's boy band group are?!?
It was NOT a boy band.
Please upload more full 40 minutes episodes🙏🙏🙏 Im obsessed with them 🥺
I just Googled the show and if you have Prime they are all on there 😀
Thank you!!!!!
This Black Woman has nothing to worry about! ( It’s all about the face heh?)
i remember the tornadoes and telstar
I remember “Telstar”! It probably used some of the first electronic music that mimicked the sounds of a satellite. (68-year-old American woman here showing her age.)
And to think someone was so creative to use a toilet flush put on the sound tract in reverse to make the satellite sound...genius!
Kofi is an amazing young man.
I can't imagine the terror and helplessness seeing your baby in that shape. I'm so relieved Kofi survived and is healing.
Wow, the head trauma Dr. has such a calming , controlled voice.
Roger reliving his fame and stardom is touching, but it's painful to see how the nurses' and doctors' eyes would go blank when they don't remember him.
Roger was sadly so wrapped in his past glories. When he said he was with his eighth wife I could quite understand why. He was really only interested in himself.
I'll never forget Telstar. Glad to see the musician who made it possible. RIP Roger Jackson.
Never forget Telstar. Find myself humming the tune often!
Kofi is going to be a helluva Man when he's grown. Capital M.
Rodger of the blowhards in the 50s was annoying.
He's probably a suspected Narcissist too. Him & Nadine
Loved the record Telstar I was a teenager when it was a hit.
This show is so old. I wonder if Kofi grew into an awesome young man.
Roger is so full of himself, so annoying 🙄
the nerve of some people it's ok to be confident but not sound ridiculous !
Walking in to the hospital after being shot in the face? Geeze
I was in kofi’s spot when I was 24, I was also hit by a moving car, I broke my leg and jaw, the leg was an open butterfly fracture and my jaw was broke by the joints and lower jaw shattered, 3 weeks prior I broke my collarbone in a horse riding accident.
My mom over heard a group nurses talking about me, they said that I could have been decapitated.
im glad your still here.. are you doing ok?
@@levidaisyyoung220 I’m perfectly fine thanks for asking
Again - profound portrayals of life experiences.
This second woman is beyond annoying.....skipped over her
Rogers a bit full of himself considering they only seemed to have one hit record.
I don't know why Roger just didn't saunter in and tell the nurse "Hi, I'm the most famous person in the world. You can tell your children and grandchildren about your experience treating the most famous person in the world" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🙏🏻🙏🏻Bless you all🙏🏻 Kofi
What a fun gentleman speaking about his youth and music!
i looked up Telstar by The Tornadoes..saw that man playing keyboard, just like he said, and yes ! i do know that song ! it's a really old tune and i liked it back in the day, very cool 😃
I also played it, but then noticed it was played at the end of the episode!
Kofi brought tears to my eyes
Yay!
Kofi made a full recovery!
So wonderful. To see Kofi looking so well ❤️
Roger Lavern's keyboard playing is amazing btw - definitely look up his band
The nurse talking about caring more for people who didn’t bing the situation on themselves is BS! You don’t know what someone is going through and why they are in the situation they’re in. For a medical professional to think like that, they need to find another field to work in. It a very privileged and entitled way of looking at and judging patients and we need WAY less of this in the medical field. If you’re worried about violence, do something to change the system that sentences a particular group of people to that life.
Cause what you may have gone through OKs behavior??
Kings A&E building needs a much higher kevel of security. Access should be severely restricted so that people who aren't patients or relatives cannot enter. Staff there are really at risk. I live in the US and worked as an interpreter at Beth Israel Hospital in Brookline, Massachusetts. All patient areas had to be accessed using key cards, or were locked with one-way doors. This way, staff controlled the flow of foot traffic.
……interesting to see who’s causing the problems’ in A & E……how unusual………NOT!
Chris is wonderful. I wish we had drs like her in the US. US drs are more interesting in making money than giving comfort and assurance to a patient.
I remember the Tornados and I had their record Telstar.
I remember the Tornadoes " Telestar" 👍👍👍
Oh no naydeen sounds exactly like Isabella from Encanto I love both of them but Isabella is so much better then naydeen
I hope Kofi is ok
I felt for the little boys parents having all those stabbing gun shot patients coming in and armed police. How awful. Kofi you are one strong little boy i hope life is treating you better keep listening to mum and dad.
The staff were all amazing. Well done to them all
This series is 10 years old. Sadly Roger Jackson passed away in 2013
