I think Karl asking the sisters questions was quite a sweet scene - they clearly liked him, and I think they liked him because he's just asking the most mundane questions about what their life is like without having any kind of preconcieved prejudice or judgement of them. He's not treading on eggshells around them... Nice reaction guys!

What I think a lot of people miss with Karl is even though he's intrigued by weird stuff, he never really treats people differently. It never once occurred to him that those sisters wouldn't have a boyfriend because of their condition, to him, they were just like everyone else, they just looked different. It's really quite amazing, and even the most anti XYZ people always immediately stop, worry about what they say or think about other people's conditions or lifestyles and treat them differently because of it, with Karl, he says what he thinks because to him, they're still just people on the inside.

I was thinking something along the same lines, like when the guys were really saying how it's "wrong with Warwick there" but it shouldn't be that, it should either be ok, or it's not ok. Not that 'it's okay as long as there's nobody else with a visible condition, illness, disability or deformity present'. That doesn't make sense to me.
With Karl, I can't say I especially like him and I am not a fan of Gervais and Merchant but whereas with the other two there's an awareness that something is not right but they'll 'be a bit cheeky' and do it regardless whether that's cracking a joke, trying to be an edge lord, written into a script, whatever. They understand what harm they might be causing and do it anyway.
Karl seems to have an almost childish or childlike fascination but there genuinely doesn't seem to be any malice behind it, which is rare tbh. He isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and the various ramifications and consequences of certain things don't seem to even occur to him. In some ways he's quite zen, he's just in that moment not planning ahead or whatever. I think because we are not used to seeing people like Karl in these situations just because usually you wouldn't see people like him going out doing these things, he did it because it made him a millionaire really, but because we are usually shown the version that has a degree of malice and blatant exploitation "hidden" behind a facade of feigned innocence. It makes it feel uncomfortable to see Karl behave like that because we are expecting the edge, the malice or whatever but either good editing or it really isn't there.
It is also very easy to sit behind a computer screen in my house, knowing there's some food in the fridge etc and talk the rights and wrongs of things like the twins in the video doing their Performance (which we really don't get a lot of context around tbf) and idk if they are being exploited, and paraded out by family or some kind of pimp and the rest of the time they're locked in a room, or if they are basically entrepreneurs, two women who might otherwise find it hard to make a living, pay medical costs, pay for food and assistance, etc in places where there isn't the same kind of safety net as in some countries or regions, and there is a different cultural attitude towards disability and we don't have the information in this instance to know what is morally "correct" or not.
Regarding disability, this can be especially problematic in belief systems where reincarnation is a big factor - people with disabilities or disadvantages can be viewed as being forced to live out this life with whatever challenges they face as a result of some "wrong" they committed in a previous life, and as a result can be ostracised, abused, even killed or left out to die of exposure as newborn babies because of this.
This can happen in various regions and cultures around the world based on various belief systems, I know in some African tribal traditions newborn babies with obvious deformity or disability are left naked by the river at night. it isn't limited to one tribe or region or continent.
I do know that in some Buddhist regions people with Visual Impairments who are Blind or Partially Sighted are treated as pariahs. There was a documentary sometime in the last 2 decades about a group of young blind people climbing Everest or one of the other big mountains that was really shocking, insightful, compelling yes I am trying not to say "eye opening".
      Disability ain't easy.

The Aghori (the drunk people at the fire) get drunk, smoke weed, behave inappropriately and do all of the things you are not supposed to do. They purposefully break all social convention.
They are trying to see through the illusion of Maya. They believe that duality is false so they follow the opposing path; rejecting purity, going against convention and embracing the macabre and vulgar. They perform rituals and practises to help foster this mind set. They sleep on the crematorium grounds amongst the dead. They use the bodies of the recently deceased, as altars on which to pray. They paint their faces with the ashes. They wish to truly see no difference between a rose, and the manure it grows from, and dedicate their lives to this.
To become Aghori, is a life commitment. And taken very seriously. They must renounce their names and former identities and cut all contacts, and never return. They live now only amongst Aghori.

They are so opposite to each other.

You Guys - pause..."blah blah blah, opinion, blah blah blah more pointless opinion". Us Brits - "...QUIT THE PAUSING AND JUST PLAY THE DAMN VIDEO FFS!" - Too many pauses and far too much waffling, totally ruins the viewing experience. people choosing to watch this are doing so for the elected content not the opinions of 2 random dudes talking shit.

I have to say I don't think it's different if Warwick wasn't there. Unfortunately in countries like India this is how a lot of disabled people have to earn a living. It's not right, and it should be difficult. Karl is innocent or ignorant, whichever term you prefer, but we do need to educate people not to treat others with differences in such a way. Karl is never nasty in his approach, and I do think he is genuinely curious about genetics and everything that makes us different. He always is polite and treats everyone like a civilised human being which is nice. I hope that's what people take away from it
