Why do all you RUclips property reviewers keep commenting on the furniture “sofa is very comfy, I like that painting” it’s all staged you should focus on the property fittings…
Redcliffe Gardens is by no stretch of the imagination Chelsea. Yes it is in The Royal Borough but it is Kensington SW10. I know. I lived there. Also the contant traffic is a minus for a first floor here.
This guy is great. With a straight face he delivered the line "we have some space here where I'm sure you can store some books or other items." So a shelf 😂.
I've been living in london for almost a year now and my first thought was "finally an adequately priced house in that area" but then I realised that this would cost 400k in my home city in The Netherlands where the average income is higher than in London. This city is ridiculous
Beautiful and light apartment, if I own it I will only add a sliding glass door to the kitchen. Very nice presentation Toby, I like your positive energy.
The staging could have been better, a second couch or two comfortable chairs should have been facing the large windows to separate the living area. A sliding pocket door or steel framed doors should have been separating the kitchen from the dining area. Overall I would say it's a nice apartment though.
Another great video from you Toby! Love your videos. I agree with you. I would add more seating in the reception, maybe a pair of navy sofas would go with the floor and the wall colour 👍
Beautiful. I'd live there. I love the white w wood floors, so, more Scandi for sure. I loved many places in Norway especially, also Denmark. Too bad about the garden though. Also too bad that fireplace isn't real.
I have a holiday home on the water that is the same size. We are planning to sell it because we can’t deal with the small size. I would lose my mind in that kitchen. The finishes are lovely but you would expect them to be premium at that price point. Only a home for a minimalist. But then I’m American and we are used to at least three times the size.
Nice showcasing except when you start extolling the painting that won’t come with the apartment. The kitchen, for sure, needed more space, just to stand ~ 👍
Hi Toby, couple of things I believe have been missed by the developer… I must say the apartment and it’s ceiling’s heights and bay windows are fantastic….. The kitchen, let’s be honest it’s adequate BUT there should have been glass pockets doors to separate it from the main sitting area….. plus ….. beautiful fire place which should have an electric fire built in, there’s some realistic ones on the market these days…… plus… so much height in the bedrooms and the wardrobes at the top level should have had those pull-down close rails that come down to shoulder height giving more hanging capacity, and finally in the principle bedroom area before the Un-suit a cupboard holding a washing machine and dryer seeing as I did not see a laundry area …… BUT all this can be added….. lovely apartment mate and great content…. Hope you read it all ???
£1.6m is a lot of money but I understand it's Chelsea so it's not going to be cheap! I just think it need a cordoned off kitchen (perhaps a bit bigger) and one more reception room and then it'll be very nice!!
Years remaining on the lease? Is it freehold? Cheers! Apartment was nicely refurbed. Redcliffe gardens is a noisy throughfare but, decent area, better if theres a nearby tube, closest tube is probably Earls Ct tho. Also the extremely high The Boltons and Tregunter Road is neighbouring roads and go for incredible prices.
The bathrooms have no windows. If you wanna say cuz it's a privacy thingy, then why not having smaller windows for the bedrooms? Believe you me, people would rather see you make out in your bedroom than seeing you taking a dump on the toilet. 🙄😒
its a very nice sleeping room in a very nice neighborhood with the windows and interior design 1. something mill for 1 living room no office garden terrace doesnt seem right. this is a hotel suite with no services. also i need to see stone slabs for that price in the bathrooms cant be tiles
Hey, great tour! Question.. are you required to take off your shoes in houses you tour especially on white carpets? If not, what do do you to ensure dirt isn't carried through onto the carpets.
I would have liked to have seen the BEFORE they took out the original character of an older building. For me, none of the ultra modern anything never suits me. That couch for example does not look inviting nor comfortable...Useless fake fireplace taking up much needed wall space. IMHO Kitchen is horribly layed out. First bedroom really doesn't have a true walk in closet...and that first bathroom is not part of the bedroom so it's not really part of it.. Is there any space in the bathroom for linens and towels???? Didn't see any. Ok so IF I had that money, I'd have to PASS on this...
I live in Sydney, Australia, so the price seems very reasonable to me. BTW, "if you give them some cookies they'll let you go down there" - it's 'biscuit' not 'cookie' in UK!
@@geemo4284 Come to think of it, here we also call a large biscuit with choc chips a cookie. There was a chain called 'Mrs Fields Cookies' here in the '80s that sold outsized choc chip cookies. But the way everything's being Americanized we'll soon call all biscuits a cookie, just as many people now say 'butt' for 'bum', 'sidewalk' for 'footpath', etc. And old Australian words like 'dunny', 'drongo', 'sheila', 'cobber' - you rarely hear those nowadays.
@@bertramwinslowiii2119 ,we have the same problem here. I had some whippersnapper on here the other day trying to convince me that in the UK we call a lift an elevator and a pushchair a buggy. People have started talking about ‘obligated’ instead of obliged. There are too many Americanizations to note. I don’t mind our language changing because of immigration - we’ve seen a lot of fascinating new patois and street slang developing out of a mix of West Indies, African and South Asian languages intermingling with English. What I do object to is a culturally dominant overseas vernacular (from a culture that I really don’t like) being drip fed through bad TV.
This is Very Nice presented also of this guy...bravo ❤ and the appartment is stunning as he says!🎉So cool and beautiful marbre in with the sink and the Dining table.😊😅😊💚🎷 A lot of space for your things nessesary in life... High sealing..fine ornaments on the walls...just a good price and Choice!
I can't see anything there that is particularly special, a blank slate is all you're getting with the sort of cheap cabinets installed by new build homes. For that sort of money I would want something better than that. It's not like Chelsea is that desirable these days.
One and a half million pounds for 2 bedrooms and a kitchen and dinning room in the living room ? Rich people and house agants are relly greedy, aren't they ?
You need to see a doctor, Toby. If you are struggling to reach those cupboards that are 2 inches above your head you need help. Estate agents talk. And yet we are watching you.
No,,, I would only buy it if I could redo the interiors! I can’t stand ,sparse & neutral. It looks exactly like the house we had when I was a little girl. And we were Poor!!!,
Stop! You’re supposed to be selling the flat - not the damn furnishings. Back to school, boy. Walk in wardrobe ? LOL😅😅😅😅😅 Built in vanity unit which doesn’t exist - it’s just a floating sink!
Why do all you RUclips property reviewers keep commenting on the furniture “sofa is very comfy, I like that painting” it’s all staged you should focus on the property fittings…
and when the art is that generic... :/
I work for a developer in the US. Quite often we offer to sell the furniture with the condo.
Furniture is NOT included in the sale of the house is it? Why waste our viewing time talking about their furniture???
when the house itself doesn't have much to offer, thats where they resort to
Agree. Plus, as soon as its sold the previous owner takes it all. Only worth talking about the lampshades which have to stay
For Chelsea, a two bedroom, two bath, very nicely updated, seemingly well priced.
I’m with you on that!

The mirrors are also not ‘stained glass’
Please look up the definitions of ‘stained glass’ & ‘walk-in wardrobe’ before bandying them about.
Where’s the washing machine

Exactly my type of home. Love everything about this! Love to see more like these within 1 to 2mill price range,

Absolutely elegant space. Its worth the price. I love the wardrobe with the contrast. So fabulous

Very nice apartment but did not see any storage cupboards for vaccum, stepladders to reach high level cupboards and suitcases?
I thought it was for the house.. great price! Didn’t realise it was just a flat.
Classic London
I couldn't find a place for the utility room, where to do the ironing and to keep the mop and bucket. But it's nice.

I do like both the Scandinavian and modern look. This apt was very nice looking.
Love Scandinavian!
Great video. I usually also see Serhant ( American properties), and he says you should Allways remove your shoes off, when you’re viewing a new home.🤗
You could have added few more minutes showing the neighborhood.

🤣 as a South African these prices make me appreciate our property market even more. This is insane.
Great presentation!
Toby, what about the garden????
There is no room to stand behind the double stove once you lower the doors?????
Nice...much better than some of the 20 mill pound propertys ive seen you cover
definitely would have put tall pocket doors hidden in the half walls to hide the kitchen when not in use

I really like this property if I had the money I would buy as investment property and rent out..good use of space
I like the light colours, but I would like more period pieces, though in the very simple Georgian style.
The kitchen is inadequate and frankly cheap looking. Also where is the laundry.
Objects. You’re in an expensive property. You don’t put “items” on a fireplace mantle.
Would find a way to make the kitchen bigger

it's amazing what you can buy for that amount of money in Chelsea in such an apartment, I'm sure the price is 10 years listhold 😫

Higher ceilings and big windows equals highest heating bills. That’s going to be bloody cold in winter!

Your presentation was more beautiful than the flat.

The false fireplace is horrible☹️
Kitchen cupboards you can’t reach… great feature 😂

It's super expensive
In terms of London real estate its not bad actually
Just ideal for me!
Too much traffic noise and pollution on that road. You would never be able to open your windows. Plus the bathrooms are very tight.
The price one pays for London. Nice apartment, decently priced for its' address.
@@thetruthisthelight0910 No. There are plenty of other streets in London which aren't this busy.
