- In this video I road test the £700/$900 Witt Etna Rotante a gas-powered outdoor pizza oven. A 37kg oven with some amazing features which means it produces fabulous pizzas and is great for outdoor entertaining.
Correction! In the video I say Witt is Norwegian, it’s not, it’s Danish! 🫣 For various reasons we had been discussing Norway a lot in the week I filmed this and it crept into my head!
Disclosure details... I was loaned this pizza oven so I could write a short online review about it. Independent of that I decided to make this video. Brilliant review. Im really considering buying this. Its the same oven as the everdure pizza oven but cheaper in the uk. This one is on legs but essentially the same parts. Its the understone burner and the rotating stone thats selling it me. Everybody says for a beginner its fool proof. Think id get the orange one for some reason.
It is fool proof, but the tricky bit is not getting the raw pizza stuck on the paddle! 😆 (tip, make sure your sauce isn’t too wet!!) We are having 10 over for pizzas on Saturday, I love it!

How do you start the flame says turn the dial counter clock wise till you hear a click the dial doesn’t go counter clock wise so I can’t start mine
It doesn’t light automatically you have to press the ignition button too and press the dial to turn, hope that helps

@@CandidClara you covered some things about the oven to be aware of but is the pizza oven worth its price tag? Can you control the temperature for different types of pizza i.e. New York style vs Neapolitan pizza. How does it compare to it's competitors? Is there a better alternative?
no need to wash the stone! it self cleans in 30 minutes of burning. any black burnt spot will disappear once it's incenerated
30 minutes is far longer than you would use this oven for n one cooking session though
