I love it at the 1:55 mark when the guy is right of the trail, and probably thinking..."Yeah, I can send that." You just blew right by. Did you even see him? I've had that happen MANY times where I get home, look at the footage, and realize..."Oh, there was a rider right there...how did I possibly MISS THAT?"
Your ability to ride stuff blind, read the trail, and send almost everything...is awesome! You ride with style, but the difference between you guys and some other channels is...you just RIP everything top speed, like it's a race stage. LOVE that aspect. I do worry a little when you're out there riding alone though...don't forget we're all mortal!
Lol, it is actually a decent drop if you dont have the bike for it. I did it on my 2004 xc bike (before I got a new one) and goddamn the shock audibly made a bang from bottoming out
@@devon35 Yeah that drop is no joke and when you ride it in the summer the tree line makes it look like you're dropping straight to black darkness until your eyes adjust.

Anywhere near Portland sucks ass.
Oregon is awesome. Portland sucks though. Hood river and mt hood get annoyingly crowded with tourists too.

Probably my favorite trail network within an hour of Portland. Most of the trails are smooth as butter.
I typically prefer steep and chunky but these trails were incredibly playful and fun.
Hope you check out Syncline's Little Moab and Hidden Canyon, not so steep, but some good chunk over awesome vistas.

Trail Peek if you go further up the canyon there is more steep and chunky stuff. Moto mtb hybrid trail with lots of wood features🤟🏽
Trail Peek post canyon has some steep and rocky trails there is one called hidden trail which is double black and there is a few more I think

WOW, nice fast flowy trail, great speed to be had there. I have a 2019 Instinct BC, bought as a leftover 01/2020, got a SERIOUSLY AMAZING price, sold stock wheels when new and got 2019 Mavic XA carbon which are only CAT 3 wheels but i am not a XX black diamond rider and so far so good, Race Face 800 carbon bars, save 100 grams and smoother as well, love that bike, in reality more than i need but gets lots of compliments and superior to the last FS bike i had.
