I wondered why Cody and JJ never went up to the high note singing the "She's" of "she's in love". At first I assumed that they couldn't sing as high as Trevor and Brian... BUT THEY CHANGED THE KEY FOR THE BROADWAY VERSION!!!!
AHHH!!!! :) -3 After seeing ALL the Flounders, I have made a final preference!!! Brian and JJ can SING!!! Like WOW!!!! But Cody and Trevor OWN the dance moves!!! But they all totally work it amazingly over all!!! If I had to pick a favorite, I would say Trevor!!! Because Trevor has a really good voice and he owned the dance, also he's like BEYOND adorable!!!!! And he's totally how I pictured the humanized version of Flounder to be!!! :)
I love this song it's my favorite! Critics had mixed reviews about but I loved it! It's my favorite b way show! I was mad that had a total of 685 performances (which isn't HORRIBLE but this is disney theatrical and comparing this to beauty and the beast little mermaid wasn't as enjoyed by audiences. But I love the new songs the set the casting this song! The lighting and of course Sierra! Just an amazing show and prey someday it'll come back for a longer run.
Sodapop246 8 I think people aren’t as crazy about it because making mermaids on stage looks awkward, the underwater setting is hard to capture on stage and great performances aside people might find it hard to look at, also in my opinion no one has ever done poor unfortunate souls justice.
Yeah, saw this in Denver too and thought Cody did great. Also, getting a big song and dance number (with a solo verse no less), with six attractive women, I bet he was the happiest little adolescent lad for a hundred miles in any direction! :)

Hardly anyone knows about him, he replaced Trevor after Trevor got casted in Billy Elliot! Major ROCKED as that little fish! He made the show and made Flounder my favorite character! Cody has the closest sounding voice to his, but it's still not Major's. I hope he's still able to play Flounder when TLM goes on tour!

This is SO MUCH better than the "revised" version of the show, which was SO STUPID! In that version, Flounder has an uncomfortable crush on Ariel and her sisters were petty and spiteful b*tches. I don't care what the critics said, the original version of the Broadway show is amazing and the revised version is HORRIBLE! I don't know what Glenn Casale was thinking because he ruined the show, which is now the official show people see when they go to see the Broadway version of The Little Mermaid, which SUCKS.

One word... puberty! We were 12 when we started the show and turned 13 while in New York. That is why they cast Trevor and Brian at 11.
