I can't stand these people that don't have talent and criativity to post their own feeling performing a song and post stupid opinions and comparing artists...let them do they way they feel it better...if you don't like just turn the page and look for the one who pleases you...but don't post comments without any sense ! Great arrange and performance...you're a truly artist ! Congratulations for your talent !
hi alex, just stopping by for another listen before going to sleep :) it's a nice way to end the day. i think i'll listen to a few more of you right now... ~aileen
"wo ka ma des lärna?" Lernen kann man so etwas glaube ich nicht so ohne weiteres. Dazu gehört Talent, Durchhaltevermögen und wenn man Glück hat ein Mentor der einen anleitet. Ich spiele auch schon seit 33 Jahren Gitarre, am Durchhaltevermögen fehlte es leider! By the Way: Einfach super!!
Wow...awesome playing! I linked to this from Sungha's version, and it's good to see that, while the kid has amazing talent (particularly for his age), he still has much to learn, and maybe he just needs time to grow. There's a maturity, fluidity and confidence in your playing that I don't think any kid can reproduce accurately.
CooL..!! es isch einfach HAMMER..!! wo ka ma des lärna? ii spiel säll oh scho ist 6 Johr Gitarr.. abes isch einfach nur bewunderswert wen ma soo spiella kan..!!!
it's a slap harmonic, generally done on the 5th, 7th, and 12th frets where you can play natural harmonics, but here he's playing them on the 14th fret only since his guitar is capoed on the 2nd fret. j
I think you have a more mature understanding of tonal qualities than some of the other guitarists on here. You have a fantastic ear for pitch/quality. Have you ever played any Chopin? Like the "Berceuse"...if anyone could, I have a feeling that you would be the one...PLEASE PLAY IT!!!
After listening to the two (Sungha and Alex), it appears that Sungha took a cleaner approach with less speed. It suits the music a bit better. Both are masters for sure.
@2c4u22 i would say andy mckee is the one making it possible for me to get to know the other awesome players out there :) but no worries love the kid too
how fun! I actually like the way you play it more than the way Sungha covered it, even though you both are great - to split hairs, at 00:35, to be in keeping with the original chord progression you should have played a B natural, not a B flat.
das ist in der Tat manchmal der bessere Weg. Erst einmal schauen, zu was das eigene Hirn und die dazugehörigen Finger fähig sind ;-)). Machmal klappt es dann sogar besser! Nur Mut!

I actually agree. maybe it is because sungha's fingers are more slender and delicate. But, he literally skates across his guitar very cleanly.

Würde Bach noch leben und den Einflüssen der heutigen Musik ausgesetzt sein,
er hätt´s wohl GENAU SO und net anders komponiert ;-)
I'm surprised anyone likes Sungha's version more...

this has such a complicated tuning
constipated playing..and it didn't sound off clean 'coz of that. not really best but good though. 1 thumb up for you! ; )
this is too fast for my liking
i have to agree.
u sure know how to play a guitar, but the music is less than the original.
SungHa Version is better ur too fast it doesnt sound good!
