Hi ! I am not a professional welder but by watching welding tips and tricks i can tell you that you TIG welds are really clean and i guess strong !! And nice video too ! Thanks for the good time spent on the video !
I like seeing makers branch out beyond wood. On your next welding project it would be great to hear more about how to weld as well as what works and what doesn't. Thanks again.
I just picked up my first "personal" welder and considered getting a cart but due to space right now I decided to build a table that I could keep my welder and bottle on, great build and video brother! It was alot of help in my planning! 👍🏻
Good design for a sit down TIG bench. I do most of my big aluminum projects (home shop but with a couple of boats I am in the aluminum quite a bit) with a Clarke pull gun 180 amp mig. The TIG I use inside for the more finecky jobs which your bench is ideal for. Now you just need to add a caster stool. Makes using the foot pedal comfortable. Take care. Doug
I think I have to get one of these type welders. Your project came out excellent brother. And that wasn't a mistake, it was a design change... Liked, subscribed and all that. Really like your videos. Eric central Florida
Nice Work. I can tell you have some experience with the TIG welder and the spray can. Keep up the good work. Yes, that is a nice face shield. Take Care
Nice job, good design, nice welding, well done. Designing it light is a good idea, however thattable top is a bit thin for a welding table. You might want to consider adding a few support bars underneath it.
Great job! Cool music and the guide mistake is one of my norms on my projects... make a guide stick and hold it wrong on part of the project... only to see if after its done...lol The welds looked really nice too! Joe
Nice job on the welds Ryan. I'm guessing that's not your first time with a TIG torch in your hands. I'm curious to see how that little unit handles aluminum.
Take care to stay around all welding gear awhile after done. Not one not two but three people in my area burnt their houses down leaving after welding and not paying attention. Great project. I'm such a sucker for anything blue.
ooh i am sry.. i think he was talking about this proces. well very hard to say witch one proces is better.. mig is to strong for thin aluminium, for that tig is best option because tig can be most gentle on any material and you can easy control penetration, arc stability and many more p.s. sry for bad eng
Hi my friend, my name is Cristiano. I'm from Brazil. Your table was very good, congratulations. I have one at a much smaller home, I use it only for hoby, but when I do I will make one like it. Hug.
good point with the sparks in the wood shop. However, for me any spark is too much there, so i do weld mig/mag (in a separate room). Also there is no way around stupid angle grinders.. so sparks, sadly
I like the Miller Welder blue you painted the table, cause I like Miller Welders. Lincoln makes good gear also just never used one as of yet. Where did you get the blue spray paint what brand is it so I can find that color, thanx and nice build.
tig holster next project also a holster for the helmet or a mount some where. really liked the cart i think that will be the design i go with i dont need a huge cart but i still need one real bad.
Overall very good job. One thing though is that I noticed that you did not clean your metal. The Stock often comes from the factory with a protective coat of oil, etc, that needs to be sanded off. Otherwise the paint will come off in short order. If you are stick welding, it can make it harder to do because it is contaminating your welds.
I've worked with stock that comes painted with a primer that is weldable. We would store it out on deck of a container ship. Pick it up after a week at sea and weld, no rust. Then paint.
+Shop built Classic comeback, Ryan. I actually thought, as videos featuring freebies go, yours was refreshingly low key. I really like your laid back style. Keep up the good work ☺️👍
I don't mind sponsored content at all as long as it doesn't appear to skew objective feedback. IMO, this video is pro-maker and adds a lot of value since it challenges everyone to step out and it rewards the producer of the video for some of their hard work. These guys are putting out quality content and quality productions week after week with little reward other than the satisfaction they get from helping people who appreciate their efforts. Sponsored content hasn't seemed to do anything except motivate guys like this to up their game even more (essentially for free). It also rewards the vendors who provide free equipment so it's a win-win-win. I would unsubscribe if I thought I was getting heavily biased reviews but that didn't happen here and I can't think of any channel so far where it's come to that.
+Tony Shulthise thank you, it should also be noted that this video was not sponsored by Lincoln, I asked if they could send me a welder for my videos and they said sure, no contract or money involved.
Nice table. Whats the size and how did it work out for you? And how well did the 1/4" top hold up? For portability and due to shop space I want to build a small welding table with the thinnest top possible without it warping. I'm not sure how to size it and what thickness to use.
You can weld aluminum with a mig welder just use 100% co2 instead of a mix I believe or at least I can with my Lincoln welder but I’m new into it so don’t quote ne
Excelente mesa para trabajos de soldadura. Una pregunta, que tipo de soldadura es esa o como se llama esa máquina para soldar. Yo utilizo soldadura por arco eléctrico. Pero veo muy interesante esa máquina.
I just bought the Square Wave 200 recently, as well. LOVE that thing for the price and performance for a home shop. Out of curiosity, what was the thickness of the square tubing and what amperage did you settle on for it? It looked like you were using 3/32 tungsten and filler? What type of tungsten did you use? Thanks for the great video!
great to see you metalworking/welding!! great welding cart! i need to make a couple for myself, i like your design! was there a spot for that tank on the cart? i didnt notice? great work bud. dig the blue!
+Matt Diresta thanks! I was really up in the air about with or not to have a spot for the bottle but I decided against it because the table was getting heavy and there is a lip I have to lift the table over to get it outside so I thought it would be better to leave it beside the table instead.
excellent idea. I just bought the garage pack with the 210 mp mig and the 200 square wave like you have. I am in the process of building a cart with mine and have made two videos so far. I am making the final part of my video and I should have it complete this weekend. check it out on my channel. I enjoy your videos...keep em coming

+Tony Shulthise thanks, I think I might do another video just answering some welding questions from this video:)
I just picked up my first "personal" welder and considered getting a cart but due to space right now I decided to build a table that I could keep my welder and bottle on, great build and video brother! It was alot of help in my planning! 👍🏻
Nice clean welds, great job Ryan. I enjoy seeing metal and woodworking projects meet in the middle. Cant wait to see some combination projects!
+Bryce MacLean thanks! Hopefully give me some new project ideas
Finally some nice welds done by a woodworker on youtube. Thank you sir.
+Steven Verschaeve thank you:)

Excellent job. Adding welding to your projects will be fun.
+RetroWeld I think so, retroweld style;)
Great looking cart, and nice welds too! looking forward to more videos.
+Rob in the Shop thanks!
Nice, Welding will and a whole new dimension to your work.
Well done, Bryan. I used to weld some but that was before tig and mig.
Great work Ryan, looking forward to your welding projects.
+Humus Workshop thanks;)
I did not know, in fact I never even suspected that a TIG welder could be used to weld steel. Thanks for posting this video. Subbed. :)
I think I have to get one of these type welders.
Your project came out excellent brother.
And that wasn't a mistake, it was a design change...
Liked, subscribed and all that.
Really like your videos.

+Eric Rusch Sr thanks!
Great! it will be nice to see your future projects!
+Cactus! workshop thanks:)
Nice Ryan. Obviously not your first time welding. Looks really good!
Very nice build Ryan.
+Lyle Kobberstad thank you:)
Nice to see you metal working, well done
thanks for the great videos. it is great to see projects come together and look awesome with only basic equipment
Nice Work. I can tell you have some experience with the TIG welder and the spray can. Keep up the good work. Yes, that is a nice face shield. Take Care
Came out very cool. Thanks for the tips about the recycler.
+AnkleBiter Woodworks no prob:)

homesteadonomics
Lovely welds, I only have a stick welder and would be really happy with that quality.
i love when people choose tig over mig, more art form in gtaw if you ask me, plus your welds look dope af. keep on tig-ing on
Nice welds and project.
+John Conklin thanks:)
small tip. When you weld outside make sure you increase your argon, during and post flow since the wind will effect coverage.
perfect color choice. remember, tack what you can so if you do mess up, its easily fixed.
+bigglesworth300 where were you yesterday;)
Nice cart Ryan.
nice clean welds
Nice project, I also just got into welding again for some future woodworking projects. I went with the 210mp version.
great build! im trying to build one myself for storing clamps and a mig and stick welder
Nice job on the welds Ryan. I'm guessing that's not your first time with a TIG torch in your hands. I'm curious to see how that little unit handles aluminum.
It looks like MIG to me. With TIG you hold the weld wire between 2 tungsten electrodes. But who is counting
Uh, nope.
+Greg's Garage yeah, I have some experience;)
Huh?????
Take care to stay around all welding gear awhile after done. Not one not two but three people in my area burnt their houses down leaving after welding and not paying attention.
Great project. I'm such a sucker for anything blue.
+Fearsome Warrior don't worry I'm very cautious;)
Good stuff, Ryan! That came out really nicely. Kinda funny though - that paint color is pretty similar to Miller Blur lol.
Blue*
+Carter Wilson Workshop shhhh;)
Nice table you built there.
Btw, you can weld aluminum with mig
pal thats not mig... it is tig
ooh i am sry.. i think he was talking about this proces. well very hard to say witch one proces is better.. mig is to strong for thin aluminium, for that tig is best option because tig can be most gentle on any material and you can easy control penetration, arc stability and many more

Great project! I've been meaning to make something like this for ages. Some great ideas. Thanks matey ☺️👍
+RuralAccent Woodcraft thanks, it should be nice to work on:)
Nice table!!! Gives me some ideas - thanks.
Very Nice Ryan! Very Nice Project! I learned quite a bit. Thanks for Sharing Brother! Have A Super Week!..... Gus
+TheWoodWerker thank you!
Hi my friend, my name is Cristiano. I'm from Brazil. Your table was very good, congratulations. I have one at a much smaller home, I use it only for hoby, but when I do I will make one like it. Hug.
Nice job. I like the integrated shelf for the welder. I have mine on a cart so it's always on the side. I like your idea better.
+parra J thanks, it's a good set for limited space:)
Definitely interested to making one
You seem very proficient welding. I'm surprised you haven't find something like this a long time ago.
+TheHayes32 thanks, it's been on the to do list for a long time.
Sweet looking cart! Let us know if we can help with any sort of welding or plasma cutting equipment for your shop
Love it! Love it! Love it! So clean, organized and cozy! I'm thinking of flattering you in the most sincere form.. but plans would help :)
good point with the sparks in the wood shop. However, for me any spark is too much there, so i do weld mig/mag (in a separate room). Also there is no way around stupid angle grinders.. so sparks, sadly

Always remember to clean pieces before action, when using tig welder :) But great video!
nice work!
tig holster next project also a holster for the helmet or a mount some where. really liked the cart i think that will be the design i go with i dont need a huge cart but i still need one real bad.
Well that was unexpected. What other tricks do you have up your sleeve? Keep it up!
that's funny you painted it blue like Miller welders but you have a red Lincoln welder
Good point. Probably would have been a Miller if it were free.
came here to say the same thing...nice table though!
Sweet welds!
+Making SawDust thanks!

Congrats! Impressive.
Nice looking table. What's the demntions
I like your welding table
, good job, can I please have the measurements of the table.
Solid! Nice job :)
+John Heisz thanks John!
Good work, I'd like to get into welding someday. 🤓
Live Free and DIY you have the best user name ever.
Thanks :)
Great to see what I hope to start in October. Is your helmet self-darkening? Thanks
Nice that you got a free welder, but I am not a fan of sponsored DIY stuff on youtube. Wish you the best of luck.
+Tom Hail that's cool, I'm not a fan of people complaining about the free content they are watching;)
Nice comeback. I'll go watch something else now :)

Nice build

Would love to get a TIG welder and get into welding

Good job.
Very cool ! Why didn't you get the Lincoln 210 the one that does mig and tig then latter on you could do mig of you wanted :)
+Jay Sybrandy they are only DC which means no aluminum welding...
didn’t you make that one side lower to get a little more head room for your shelf ;)
A really nice project. I think I'll build one.
How much does one of those Lincoln TIG units cost?

Nice job. 👍🏻
Awesome! Looking forward to what you come up with! What is the name of that blue for the spray paint?
+VampireOnline thanks! It's armor coat rust paint, it seemed to cover really well:)
Perfect size
Nice Helment.
Nice music Bro!
Were you using the footpedal for this?
I have the same machine and was wondering if you could just use it like a scratch start system
Just wondering where you're from? Sort of sound like east coast Canada? Maybe im way off haha Dig that table though, more welding is cool with me!!
+Mike Wiebe good call, from NB
nice job
Stupid question but can you stick weld instead of how you did it? And if so what rod do you suggest. Thanks
great to see you metalworking/welding!! great welding cart! i need to make a couple for myself, i like your design! was there a spot for that tank on the cart? i didnt notice? great work bud. dig the blue!

+Shop built got it. makes sense. great work though. MORE METAL WORK!!
I agree with others...great beads!
+l3ender15 thanks:)
Now you can build a T Square table saw fence!
+MrShanestain good idea!
how is the top attached to the frame ?
Any chance you could write what the dimensions of the table please
I should add some expanded metal shelves for my everlast welding cart.
Very nice
Uh...Now you can build a tool wall for your metal working tools!
There's aluminum mig too
Painting over mill scale, is a futile exercise, as the presence of mill scale on the steel surface
accelerates the corrosion of the underlying steel.
+Naveen S I never new that. Good to know.
excellent idea. I just bought the garage pack with the 210 mp mig and the 200 square wave like you have. I am in the process of building a cart with mine and have made two videos so far. Very cool
Great table! Song name also?
It wasn't a dumb mistake... you were testing to see if we were watching 👍
Awesome!!
what are the dimensions of the tabletop?
+kevrobster 2ft by 4ft, all I could fit;)
whats the size of your table
