I dont see why anything needs to be done about single black women. Black men have been told for years how worthless they are and all men heard you. Yall are strong and independent and dont need no man. As men, we heard you loud and clear. We are either dating outside or remaining single. If you as a group were better at honestly asking what a man truly wants, then you would be more successful. I dont see that happening. Maybe its best that youre all sinlgle, because if you were as desirable as you say you are, you wouldnt have to ask for help finding the men you say you want.

As a 52 year old divorced childless black man who checks all the "boxes" black women SAY they want in a partner. I regret to say domestic black women over 40 are very poor prospects for dating / relationship for high value men.
The common background of domestic black women over 40 is they made very poor date / marriage choices in their prime dating years.
Another issue is single motherhood which over 60% have one or more children. For a single childless black man who lives an active, top tier lifestyle dating a black woman with child care responsibilities is problematic at best.
And yes, the few top tier black men over 40 really don't have to pursue women. Since I've become 50+ my social circles are more populated with white asian Latina women.
There were comments about black men I need to address. Black women with college degrees are 32%. Black men with college degrees are 26%. Another impediment are black women who may make significantly more money and make an issue with a black man.
But, women in other countries are comparably educated and professionally employed at higher incomes and are happily married to men who are significantly less accomplished than themselves.
Several times in my initial dates with domestic black women I have experienced black women presuming I'm marginally employed /educated when I am highly educated and semi retired with a top 5% income. Another presumption black women have about top tier black men is we are on the down low /gay just because we speak standard English, collegiate / post graduate educated, well dressed and groomed, athletic build, socially and emotionally accomplished. Black women presume if a black man isn't broke or or a thug and single / divorced he must gay.
It's almost as if black women have preconceived notions that all black men are substandard and the black men who are competent and capable black women socially marginalize because of pegorative assumptions.
Yes, HEALTHY black women want top tier black men. The challenge is a miniscule percentage of black women over 30 are emotionally and mentally healthy.

I’ve been married for 12 years to a beautiful Black woman who is educated, hardworking, and healthy. We’re both 58 years old and making it through life together. When I met her, she saw something in me that no other woman had seen-a potential and strength that I hadn’t even realized in myself. When other women doubted me, she saw the best in me. While many wanted to use me for financial gain, she saw an opportunity for my growth, and most importantly, she made me feel like I was the only one for her!
The challenge for Black women in finding a suitable partner often lies in understanding who they truly are. If a woman has a sense of entitlement and believes in finding a “perfect” fairytale man, she’ll be setting herself up for disappointment. Real relationships require compromise, growth, and a realistic view of love and partnership.
It’s not about something temporary, where every man comes through just to pump and dump! When you waste your time and effort on men who only want to use you, you miss the chance to focus on a man who has character and genuine intentions.
You must take accountability, or you’ll never know what feels like to be truly loved!❤

I'm a 26 year old black man, in my last year of medical school. I was out with my school on a bar crawl yesterday and two black women, first year students who i never met, came up to me and my other two black male classmates. They told me i look educated (great), but they also told me i seem like i wasn't raised around black people, and i look like i only date white women. That rubbed me the wrong way, but I've heard this countless times from black women. And to be true, I have mainly dated white women, but I prefer to marry black. However, i will marry whoever treats me best, regardless of race. No wonder a lot of black women are single. Y'all are losing great men because of similar behaviors.

According to U.S. Labor Statistics 2024, less than 1% of black women earn the type of money these women are talking about. The average black woman in U.S. earns around $40,000. So the financial requirements these ladies are speaking about is a non-factor. You are doing your listeners a disservice.
Your "standards" / "requirements" are way out of bounds. Money, looks, height and weight: why would any man jump through all of these hoops to be with middle-aged women with children when they could be with younger women who have no children??

My close friend/ soror is the head of a very well known company and she makes that much money and I coach her around this very concern. One of my other girlfriends is a VP for a very large company. So these numbers are very realistic for me. $40K in my area is definitely not as common as I live in a metropolitan area. Every man has a right to date whom they want. Those are your standards... and Black women also have a right to date to their standards. Just so you know.. married men live longer by ten years on average than single men.. Married women on the other hand do not. Not every woman desires a man. Some just desire peace.

A reason so many black women are single is because in the Black community as a whole, we have a lot of self hate and hate for each other. It is so common for black people to disrespect each other at home, work or out and about. When a black man meets a black woman, many times she compares him vs. every single black man she's ever met in life. When a black man meets a non-black woman the energy is entirely different because she judges you by a different standard because you may have been her first "brotha." Black women miss out on educated black men because when we're in college struggling to get that degree...a lot of sistas will criticize you for being broke. The non-black women see your future and know after graduation, you will have the means that they're seeking.

During the whole dialogue not once did I hear.
What the woman has to offer a man?
Once I heard catch phrases like,
"on my level + equally yoked".
I knew there was going to be a lot of filter and word salad.
Women actions, decisions and talking points have consistantly shown they prefer men of higher status.
Equally yoke is not a true standard woman adhere to.

    Slay Queen,sllaaaayyyy!
Over confidence blinds you to your flaws.
And prevents one from being receptive to outside criticism.
One ends up with a flawed sense of reality.
Women talking to women about fixing their dating lives.
Isn't as productive as them talking to men and getting their perspective.
No workable solution was provided to enhance a woman's chance.
All I kept hearing was therapy to make you feel better?
No real strategy to get the ladies to do better?
Never did I hear the questions what would make or how to make the bw a better catch?
The whole open your option was never closed to bw it has always been there.
Most men from other races and ethnicity just are not biting.
According to the numbers based on dating sites and marriages.
When my associates of other races comment on their experience with bw.
They pretty much say the same things bm crtique the sistas on.
    Which is:
    1) overly aggressive/assertive/
    combative demeanor
    aka..nasty attitude.
    2) lack of attention to prioritze physical health.
    (obesity epidemic)
3)dv... the ladies like to throw hands
    4)Promiscuity:
multiple partners..children from previous relations..high cases of venerial issues😮😮
sexual fluidity the whole girl on girl action..according to outsiders.
    Blaque ghirlz are easy😢
I can go on but those are the top 4 the brothas and the others have commonly stayed on topic about.
What I picked on that was very troubling was many of the talking is geared towards older women 35 plus.
Not young ladies in their twenties.
Which is the age group when they are most desired and have the advatage in the mating game.

I appreciate this conversation. My wife passed away in 2016 and I had two teenage children at the time. I think dating with children is incredibly irresponsible when your children should be your prime directive...not hooking up/dating for your selfish ambitions. So I waited until my youngest daughter left home in spring of 2024. My first month of dating resulted in meeting women who had children, and unfortunately putting their children at risk by introducing strange men to them.
These women often leading with their religion as a standardbearer but their lives don't remotely reflect it. Constantly announcing their education despite the declaration being unprompted and unsolicited. I have a JD, and NEVER announce this to women in early conversations. But it seems as if they treat their education as a competitive bargaining chip, even during a simple meet and greet encounter. Like a "I don't need you" proclamation before the relationship gets off the ground.
I never once cared about a woman's upper education or even if she's a high earner. That's not what I'm remotely looking for and it's a turn off to most masculine men who hears this. In fact, I would caution women to stop announcing their earning power on initial dates and conversations. Because the men that they would likely attract are the losers and men they would have to take care of. Speaking of which, 90% of the women I met were in financial dire straits. This range from having enormous student loan debt, credit cards with high balances, and struggling to pay their rent/mortgage and utilities every month.
These poor economic situations can be a pain to any man trying to put himself in favorable conditions for the next 20 to 30 years. There's a narrative that black American women are blowing black men out of the water regarding income. This is a falsehood, as most women (no matter the demographic) make less than their men. Nevertheless, I frankly don't want to take on such financial burdens that many of our sisters have found themselves in. We're not talking about being a few thousand dollars in debt. Many of these ladies are hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. And there is a strong consensus among men no matter the race regarding this issue.
I see some of the brothers in this comment section being pretty harsh. But to me there's nothing better than a black woman. Perhaps I have my bias because I spent 15 years with one. Black American women are finding their dating lives difficult for a variety of reasons. Some of it is weight, negative stereotypes, their apparel, third-wave feminism, and children from other men.
I heard a reference to gay men....Actually, there's more black women who are LGBTQ than there are black men. However, there are so many women out here. (Which is a good thing for me) My issue is that I ONLY want and DESIRE a black woman. (I could never be with a Becky) Unfortunately, this phenomenon have black men like myself, being forced to consider black women from other nations. At any rate great episode have a wonderful day.

In fact, the guest pointed out the system in play to leave black men behind. Demonstrating there was no ill intent towards us. I just think anytime women AREN'T being ravenous female versions of Fresh and Fit, becomes radioactive towards men. In their defense, us black men have been hearing these negative things about us for decades from our women. Whether it was on Donahue, Oprah, Ricki Lake, Rolanda, or Sally Jesse Raphael (Lol I'm really showing my age) we've heard it.
But because of platforms like RUclips, black men have only been openly hostile for about 6 years or so. But none of it (no matter who does it) is enriching or healthy. I hope my daughters don't come into contact with these men either. Something I've noticed watching dating and marriage videos between black people are: Most of the comment section is filled with divisive and disingenuous claims. These claims either come from frustrated and angry men from the red pill community...Or claims from a lovelorn and disappointed divestor sect. Both sides make some valid points but most of it is vile and harmful.
I see more tearing down instead of understanding the other side and making cogent arguments. An argument that would foster an environment of respect, love, and reunification. I know I'm probably going to get a simp label for this (and I don't care) but I love that you ladies didn't go full throttle on us. But of course I give black women more latitude. Something that both sides of this issue should be seeking opportunities to do. If more positive overtures were made, I think the gap between us, will narrow by a thousand fold. Again, I appreciate the lively conversation and keep up the great work.

No matter what fairy tale description of a man you think you should have, they simply don't exist. And even more so today than 40 years ago. Men are proud of the fact that we're not women. We know we're not perfect and we don't care. Many of us have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to make women happy and give them what they want and then ultimately they want something else. We know you're confused creatures. We're not going to sit around trying to adjust ourselves anymore. We're done with that. That's not just from the older generation. The younger fellas get it too. Great video, here is the challenge that women must face. Most of the attractive, successful, monogamous and disciplined men are married. It is very rare to find a man like this on the market. I’m a top 5% earner that married early and my wife is as well. In addition, my diverse counterparts in corporate America are mostly married. If you expand, you are competing with women of that group and they are having the same conversation being held on this podcast. This isn’t a Black issue, this is simple macroeconomics and logic. More women being successful reduces the level of opportunity on the male side based on America’s GDP. There are limited resources with economic pressures added.

Even the gifts they will buy themselves this Christmas is a far cry from what they will demand from the man in their lives, if they had one.
If you think the behavior women are projecting as being "masculine", then it's clear you have no idea what masculinity actually is, because what the women are projecting is nothing close. Anyone can emulate something for a short period of time and be clueless about where it's generated from. Because for all this projection women are putting on, it's amazing who when it's time to face the consequences and punishment of their acts and speech they are quick to remind people they are women.

You don't need a college degree to land a good to decent paying job. But what you need is a marketable skill. There is enough researchable data that shows women, notably BW are not getting a decent return on their investment when it comes to the degrees they have obtained, and the student debt they are carrying. Many of these call centers, and customer service centers for people like ATT, a health insurance company, and others are full of women, notably Black women, with degrees in Marketing, Psychology, Business, and others, crying student loan debts, and are 2 missed paychecks away from having to live in their automobiles.
Lastly, with the large number of Black girls and Black young women walking around fat, for you to say that boys need to get away from playing sports, then it's clear you don't understand the need for sports for boys and girls, and if remaining physically active through their early adult years and into their later stages, the physical and mental health benefits that are maintained.

This concept that 'dating' is the appropriate method to modify natural principles, well, is wrong. Historically, 'Courting' was a cultural requirement based in value, not volume. 'Dating' is not congruent to what is a natural occurrence of truth in expectations and satisfaction. 'Dating' is a commercial activity advertised and designed to excite temporal desires of quantity, not quality. Thereby, misleading members of society by selling a 'dream-person' is a swipe or click away. Thus, developing a society of people that do not value one another and are imbued with hedonistic egotistical expectations of outcomes for commercial gratification.
In closing, 'dating' is the wrong approach to the natural experience of contentment with others. Sure, some people are going to meet, that does not set the rule of satisfaction; it only highlights the law of probability. I suggest, Men and Women stop dating, stop procreating, and stop lying to one another. Instead study natural law, learn about there own sexual natures and desires, get control over themselves, and stop looking for satisfaction based in quantity and be courageous and mature enough to choose one suitable life partner.

But, we, black men have deep emotional and mental damage as wel as a result of the harmful effects of the things that black women have directed towards black men. Moreover, black men, as myself find it impossible to excuse the intentional harm that they have caused by their torturous words and actions which were intended to destroy us! For instance, women have made statements that white men, who we deem as our oppressors, are far better than black men!! Yeah!!!! That hit different. It’s one of those unforgettable and inexcusable things! And, there’s no amount of therapy in the world that could help excuse that! And, this is just one example of the many destructive statements and actions that black men have endured from black women. And, knowing that not all of you are bad, it doesn’t lessen the blows! So, although your effort is respected, I know that it’s a waste of your time & energy. And, that’s not to discourage you in any way. But, the truth is the truth! The dating coach is saying all the right things but I'd really like to know what her statistics are. Not because I think that she's not good at what she does, but because I don't believe that women can be coached, they're like trying to herd cats. It can't be done! 36:09 I totally disagree that you guys want a man to come in and take control. That's all cap. It's just not true and you guys need to stop saying that. It sounds way better than what it plays out in in real life. I'm going to say this just straight up! Grow up!
The first thing any woman should do when she finds a man that she likes is think about how she can nurture and take care of that man. If she can't do that she's not ready for a relationship because I can tell you right now none of us are getting that from women and we all need it and we're not getting it because you're not willing to give it, so we take what we can get and keep it moving! 38:54 Y'all may love nice men but you also fall out of love with them. @@Vee_Mindful This is a good thing that you advise this for women because trust me, the longer men are out here in the wild without women to temper us. We're not going to become more available and easier to deal with. We realize that we built this world and we can do it without women, but we don't want to! Yes, women are needed for procreation but you're also needed for nurturing us. We need that for our mind, our body and our spirit and if women are just choosing to parse that out when they're in the mood or feeling feminine based on the man's behavior. Then it's an unfair exchange and men will recognize it quickly and typically they will turn out to be something that you didn't think he was that he was when you first met him. I enjoy the conversation and the dialogue between your ladies. It inspired me to respond and very few do that. But I am one of those men that fits the description of my dialogue. I have no issue attracting beautiful women even today, but I'm tired of the quid pro quo! Because there's always a lot more give than take for the man! Despite that, I still have had a difficult time finding one that isn't confused about who she is and what she wants and what her true role is with regards to a man. They've been able to accept and receive everything I've given with no problem, but reciprocity is a big problem! So you guys keep doing good work. Just remember the young men are running to where I'm at quicker because they have more knowledge! I started out with women in the '80s and '90s putting them on pedestals and have come to realize those were mistakes! Young men know that already!

Because the truth is, regardless of race, people are people and if you're drawing a certain kind of person into your life, shifting to another race doesn't change the people you're going to attract. You take you with you no matter where you go! 18:28 Men don't have an issue necessarily with women who make more money but when women who make more money than men believe that they can direct the man is where the issue begins!
If you make all of that money can you please tell me what do you need a man for other than sex and companionship? If you're already financially set in your life, then why can't you just think like a man and bring a man into your life who fits what you want? That's what men do. @ I was raised in a house full of single black mothers. Before I was 5, I knew I was too Black, too smart, too corny, too skinny, couldn’t dance, couldn’t sing, could have the black sl@pped off me and could be knocked into the middle of next week. I’ll trade with you.

Might be a consequence of a number if things.
    1. Black men (culturally speaking) feel entitled to cheat on and betray their women, whilst simultaneously demanding absolute devotion from the women themselves. Sure, women cheat too but I think black men certainly feel no shame about it and encourage one another to do it. That has (over time) caused women to completely mistrust men in their lives (and in the wider community) and well...a relationship cannot thrive, let alone stabilise without trust and transparency. Not only that, but black men (it seems) are willing to walk out of a relationship...EVEN when there are kids involved. Baby momma culture doesn't exist in a vacuum.
    2. Are these women simply looking for sex or are they looking for companionship. And if the ARE looking for companionship? What changes are they making in themselves to help the relationship flourish? Are they willing to be wrong sometimes? Can they regulate their own emotions? Etc, etc.
There's obvs so much more (and more that I'm unaware of) but I think that those two things contribute massively to the problem.

I thank you for taking the time to provide your input.. and sigh.. yesh the conversation is definitely bigger than the one we had. That's why she and I work with people (I coach men and women of all races) to help them resolve their own issues.. because that's where the relationships start..
