@@PrairieTrading I sure will. Another thing they did after letting the caulk set up for about 20 minutes, was after removing the painter's tape, they sprayed it with soapy water and smoothed down the little ridge left by the tape with wet soapy fingers.
Should have removed the old caulking first, the goal is to get the caulk into the opening, or the crack if you prefer. don't just run a bead on top of the crack, that's not caulking.
Thank you for the comment. The window that I was working on is the four feet by four feet picture window in my living room. It would be a huge project to take the window out and glaze it, that is why I caulked it.

I think when I do mine I'll put painters tape on window so it'll have a sharp line after caulk is smoothed out.

That is a handyman special, take the window out & re glaze it probably. Not hard
