I thought credit card is safe, as we can charge back a fraud transaction, and also there will be protection till a particular amount, which acts as safety till we block the card.
However, in case of debit card, cards with low cash withdrawal and pos limits are somewhat respite. Worst scenario is a signature/platinum debit card getting hacked!!!
