As a builder, the off-setting of walls and ceiling is incredibly useful for niche situation. I'll be using this method for a temple I'm building. P.S. When I first started playing in officials, this fella I became acquainted with used fence stacking to try and deter cheaters. We reported them but they reported him and he was banned weeks before they were. Officials.... sigh.
I was a solo on official. When the devwipe crusades occurred I was an obsessives wall stacker. It would take about 3 hours for a bomber to get in to the eastern barracks where I was usually located. So, I expected that at some point I would be wiped... but instead, funcom wiped out every single other base on the server except mine. My base was always compact so probably missed a close eyeballing.. The effect for me however was the same. I lasted 2-3 weeks doing nothing... then eventually handed over my base to some of the banned people on fresh accounts looking to come back , and have not been on official since. I was threatened a few times by quasi cheaters (people who kept stacks of bodyvaults in impossible places), but in the end they were wiped and left me dead bored... and rather worried that 'at some point' funcom would wipe me out anyway. The problem is really that bomb manufacturing is too easy or that bomb damage is too high as that necessitates this kind of playstyle for solo's and duo's. Still love watching building video's though.
I no longer bother playing, but as I understand the rules, in order to wipe a base and ban a player that base needs to fulfill some conditions. Firstly if the base causes server lag, this is not a foundation based staking so it not making the server lag, foundation staking does. Secondly, this is not fence foundation staking witch is against the rules. Lastly, if your base is not interfering with any sort of thrall spawns you are in the clear. This is simply a clever method of adding health to a base without making anyone's fps drop to 0 wile passing by. So if you are not affected by it how you can prove it's a problematic build? all you can see is the outer walls, and if done smart you can't even see the staking. It's quite absurd how high the bomb damage is per bomb in comparison to how much you need to farm to build a base to begin with. This game is not balanced, you need to farm and convert materials for 8-10hrs to build a base. Meantime, one can make 50-100 DP/hrs. Yea blame the players of trying to defend their bases against bullshit like that.
Has anyone found a substitute for the lost dungeon ceilings? Any trick? I know you can mess around with hatch frames and then replace them with ceilings but I can’t even find a hatch frame that fits lol
Bannable on officials and not allowed on any pvp private servers .... therefore...just good to know but not useful. Edit: also who even plays officials nowdays with so many hackers and undermesh bases everywhere?🤔

Doing this on a official server is a good way to get noticed by the dev/moderators and get your base either admin deleted or your account banned.

Just pillar stack and use double walls with triple fence stacks same health and easier to make
