Composing and playing an instrument are two different skills..the boy here might be a virtuoso pianist but he might not be a good composer....take ilaiyaraja for instance...he is a god at composing but his piano/keyboard skills are below average....but he is a virtuoso guitarist though...Rahman and gv Prakash might be one of the few music directors who are actually virtuoso pianists themselves....gv prakash is a gold medalist while Rahman needs no description of his piano skills...the boy here is yet to show his composing skills,but when it comes to playing the instrument,he is above majority of the music directors out there....

He did his own masterpiece recently which is an jazz album recently...the album's name is Chromatic Grammatic but one disappointment its not to viral because today's peples are into the trending music and K-pop i hate k-pop and wish let this maestro's album should go viral...and he also submitted the album to Grammy's...2022's news

Just played a couple of beginner’s pieces from well tempered clavier, bourree in d minor and did some exercises on his choral works. Maybe I have not yet matured enough to understand his music.

Most of the indian audience are not into piano, rather into classical instruments like Flute, tabla.So hearing a piano for a first time, they cant tell the difference how good he is playing. Example: 4:55

Also we as Indian audience or in general have this idea that there is a pianist who can play really fast that wows or dazzles us by his or her performance. Like Adnan Sami, great singer but I doubt his capability as a pianist. First and foremost he mostly plays on a keyboard whenever he is live. Secondly he plays his keyboard like a santoor as he took Indian classical music classes with pandit Shivkumar Sharma and is known to be the fastest keyboard player according to a US Based Keyboard Magazine. The idea behind playing any instrument is not about how fast you play it's based on how much your knowledge is and especially what do you learn from it. I appreciate Lydians interpretation of Bach's Badinerie, however he played it so fast that it went a little out of rhythm. Same with the CBC Talent show, the World's Best, He played the Flight of the Bumblebee, 3 times just increasing in speed. You got to look at dynamics, articulations, and other forms of theory where you could interpret whatever piece you would like to do.
