Picky, picky, picky, and I love it, that looks awesome, you have out done yourself on this one young man. First time I’ve witnessed an operator get out of the machine and move material by hand to do a little tweaking and getting the little pieces the machine couldn’t pick up, speaks well of you sir. Thanks for the ride along.

    • @eliteearthworksllc

🤣 I’m very picky I want everything perfect. Yes I don’t mind getting out of the machine, sometimes it’s easier or quicker. Appreciate you watching

I really like the follow-up video idea - it makes for a kind of "close" to the story. Plus it'll help you with your own project planning for similar future jobs. BTW I thought that rip-rap looked like a tile job! It came out really slick.

I agree it’s a way to share the results and see how it worked. I will definitely try to do more of this. Thank you! Tamping it down with the excavator makes a huge difference. Appreciate you watching as always

Man…. You work a lot like I do and I get a lot of flack from people saying that I don’t know when to say good enough is good enough 😆 I will say that you really need to get that tilt bucket on that machine. You could have done that ditch in probably half the time with a nice tilting clean out bucket. You do beautiful work my friend keep up the good videos and I like the follow up video that you did as well. All jobs look fantastic when you leave but it’s nice to go back and see how they function. It also nice to see that not everybody does things perfectly, if there even is such a thing. Sometimes I get disappointed when I go back and look at some jobs and think I should have done this or I should’ve done that differently. I guess this is a great example of how you never stop learning in this business.
Nice job. With so little fall this works amazingly well.

Gate City is in Greensboro, NC. I've watched some of his early vids since he's local to me. I haven't noticed my TL8 doing what you've noticed on your Dad's, but then again I don't have another Tak to compare it to. I will say it's quicker than my old T190. One odd thing I have noticed is that the bucket curl function seems slower than what I was used to. Stay safe my friend.

Brandon… pretty good shooting young man! That ditch is gonna work perfect. And with just a tad of tweaking the swale and basin will feed it every drop of water.
The koochie line up is impressive. I hope you got them all lined up like Rockettes! It would make a great front page for the next Elite Earthworks calendar.
We only got 1’2” of rain. It was heavy all around but not at my place. And, today we had sleet and snow. Just enough to see a cover in the grass. The roads and sidewalks were too warm.
And freezing tonight? Honest to gosh, I saw a guy at Lowes trying to buy tomato plants a couple of days ago. I hope he didn’t plant them… we need another month for them to be safe!
We had the house flooring replaced the past two days… I will spend all weekend putting down baseboard and sorting through stuff we found in the closets…. Can you call Nana and tell her you need some help this weekend? •wink•
