THANK YOU for sharing this info! Your channel has helped me for 3 years now! Such an overdue update.
Is this only on beta? Or a standard update?

So with your comment about it being disabled in full screen, does that mean the controls revert to controlling going frame by frame at that point but only when in full screen? Could make for a versatile way to still have both controls if you have full screen and FIT as shortcut keys

Any option to show audio waveform underneath video in source monitor like Resolve?

Resolve stuff is too advanced 😩

You can also just hover the cursor over the zoom amount drop down menu when it's closed and scroll it up to Fit quickly

Finally they added this zoom feature. I hated having to open AE just to mask stuff of finer details, or just settle for a very tacky looking mask in PR. Such a huge quality of life change 🙌

      Amen.
Now if they just implement changing mask/path colors like in AE instead of just blue we might be able to distinguish masks on blue footage .

The problem is I used to use the scroll wheel in the program monitor to go one frame at at time, now that’s gone. I would rather roll one frame at at time instead of zoom, now you have to position the mouse very precisely in the program window to scroll one frame now, i wish adobe would give us a choice if we want zoom or frame by frame scroll. I think it sucks, i guess it depends on your work flow. Larry

nice video, it remind me the copy/paste option in an iphone 3gs, a real revolution 😅 adobe premiere is still not big free, an upgrade should be fix this before.

so adobe would rather implement non-critical quality of life features than make it more stable?

Is this just for viewing or can you keyframe and animate the zooms?

That'd be great if you could - but I doubt it.

You can also still scroll one frame at a time by hovering over the Program Monitor timeline. I think it'd be better to have zoom be Cntrl-Scroll and regular scroll be frame by frame scrub

    Thought it was Panimation

The title of this video confused/disappointed me because in Davinci you can apply Dynamic Zoom to your video and it’s not just a term for zooming in playback.
