    Defensive Player of the Game is Amen? You're joking, right? I have no idea what game you guys were watching, it's Alpi. Alpi had 6 deflections and the best defensive rating. Amen's and Dillon's poor defensive efforts and lost offensive possessions in the 2nd half cost us the game. And when Alpi finally found his offensive rhythm, Udoka benched him immediately. 79-84 subbed out, 79-92 subbed in! I can't even blame Alpi for his offensive struggles because our backcourt is trash, they waste way too many possessions. We don't need a star, we already have one, and it's Sengun!

      @@ROCKETSCHOPSHOP Well, isn't it kind of unfair when our views don't line up with the facts? Amen or Dillon, or even Bari, but no mention or credit to Alpi's defensive effort. Also, even though Shai went 1/8 in the 1st quarter, you still think he's a superstar, right? Even though his stats went up at the end thanks to some biased calls! Just curious, what makes you think Alpi's not even a star? If Udoka hadn't benched him when the score was 79-84, maybe he would've had a breakout moment.

    Good stream. But I think alot of you people are missing the point. The rockets are up and coming. They are now here. We winning now we seeing who doesn't fit on this team. And its fvv and Jalen green. The offense is bad and its mostly because of them two. Now that the rockets know what the problems are. They need to make some trades and ship out some of these dudes who don't fit what we got going on. We need a new pg and sg. A back up center Adam's looks lost out there half the time. And a back up pg Sheppard had high hopes for him after summer league but he aint been good. For this time now rockets need to play cam Whitmore id rather have him taking shots than Jalen green I dont care if cam dont pass the ball much the dude put the ball in the hoop we saw what he did last year

      @krisg3818 I Agree with All Your Points. Plus, the Offensive Alpha Dawg this team needs is not on this team (tho Amen Thompson could be that player if his Jumper ever develops) .. I think they should trade Sheppard & Whitmore (& Maybe the 2025 Phoenix Pick Swap) for Brooklyn's Cam Johnson (Career 39.6% 3pt shooter) .. Plus, the Rockets will probably have TWO top 5 picks in the 2027 NBA Draft (Watch out for Tyran Stokes) .. or trade Jalen for Draft Picks, if another team is desperate enough to trade for Jalen

      @krisg3818 I'm Really disappointed in Jabari Smith Jr. cuz Jonathan Kuminga is what Jabari should be right now. Jabari can't Finish, and he's a low % shooter. The once #3 Pick in the Draft is just a Role Player, and that's so disappointing

    • @justmythoughts101

      Jabari doesn't have a handle. He can dribble but doesn't have a handle that's why he mostly shoot jumpers.

      @anthonyturley5256 idk why u comparing kuminga to Jabari. Kuminga is way better. Just because Jabari was the 3rd pick don't mean anything. He was drafted as a 3 and d specialist that's what he is.

    • @anthonyturley5256
      @anthonyturley5256 9 дней назад

      @ I expected Jabari to have a Kuminga-like skill set coming out of Auburn. Jabari played like that the last time he played Summer League … But as the #3 Pick, You know there are expectations !! If we’d known someone at his size couldn’t finish, he’d been Top 15 (instead of top 3) .. They have a similar body type, and I expected Jabari to be playing at Kuminga’s level (as the #3 pick) … Since Jabari is Not in Kuminga’s tier, that’s super frustrating for me every time I see Jabari miss a (wide open) shot or get bullied in the Post

    Houston is the best team to stop OKC if you let them do their defence and if you will call fouls on legal defensive positioning to Dillon Alpy Tari to get them to 4-5 fouls ,its easy for OKC to win . You should let both teams do the same defence , yes Houston has bad shooting and offence still Houston is the only team to stop OKC ,i watched many OKC game and the other west teams are measurable against OKC but if refrees let both team do their defencive tricks the game is very close like in half time of this game or the regular season game we won by 3 points,so you should be happy with these young players thats a defencive identity that works against the best team in west

      What?, in the game we won Fred had 38pts and we had 14 more FTs than OKC and "only" won by 3pts and they didn't have Chet. In the game they won with Chet, got blown out.

    Everyone's asking Goon to play 1v5. Even MJ wasn't overcoming double and triple teams on his own and he wasn't shutting down the whole other team on his own either, especially for 48 full minutes; this isn't NBA Jam. We need literally anyone else to provide at the very least NBA average offense and we're set. Complain about his constant whining to the ref if anything

    • @shurmekajohnson

      Pick a struggle. Either he is a star or her isn't. Every star faces double or triple teams. Wemby, SGA, Ant Man, Luka, Jokic, Tatum, Paolo, Franz, even broke down Embiid, and they still get there numbers. This is a trash excuse

      @ literally all those players have secondary and tertiary and in some cases quaternary teammates who are above average lol. Again, I’ll use the extreme example, your argument is that rodman and pippen (and kerr and the whole rest of that team) didn’t exist

    God bless all y’all who watched that entire game. I had to turn the channel after halftime because the Rockets play an ugly brand of off😢… Jalen is NOT that guy…Alpi is good but isn’t athletic enough for the big boy table. I hope he’s injured to account for his no leaping ability… FVV thinks he’s Steph Curry… I can see a major trade coming for a more explosive PG

    Rockets need a number one plain and simple, and Green and Sengun aint it... Good players but not great to build around.. Space you can't talk about Jalen inefficiency and bypass Sengun inefficiency. Both players has been very very inefficient this entire season so far

    • @keroutson
      @keroutson 9 дней назад

      Why do you consider Green a good player ?

    • @djmill8000
      @djmill8000 9 дней назад

      Face value.. Green is a good player under the right circumstance. The offense is not built for or around Jalen and his strengths. JG is a downhill athletic guard who needs space in the half court... If you put SGA on the rockets in place of JG, SGA would have the same issues. They are the type of players who will thrive in a up pace 5 and out offense....

    • @dandeitch3459
      @dandeitch3459 9 дней назад

      @@djmill8000 - SGA is clearly a more talented, efficient, and consistent player and would be on the Rockets. Green has a history of not finishing strong at the rim and rarely dishes it to the open player when he is driving. Outside of FT, there isn’t any area of Green’s game on offense that he’s consistently good at and I don’t think that would change no matter what team he is on. He has had ample opportunity and has struggled with efficiency and consistency in every season.

    • @dandeitch3459

      Green’s shot selection seems like an issue in every game

    • @djmill8000
      @djmill8000 9 дней назад

      @@dandeitch3459definitely agree that SGA is more of a better finisher than JG, however if you don't understand how important Space is in today's game then, we can't have a real conversation if you think SGA who isn't a 3pt efficient scorer would thrive in this type of offense where you have Sengun occupying the same space where SGA primarily scores from

  • @Spaceage713

    Alpie ceiling is limited without a perimeter game....jus my tru cents...he's too finesse so he definitely needs one. Hartenstein...a backup outplayed Sengun by gettin physical with him...which is why a perimeter game is critical for Alpie

    • @djmill8000
      @djmill8000 10 дней назад +1

      Been waiting on that perimeter game for 3 years, when is he going to get one? I was told last year by a Sengun fan that he would develop one this year, I'm still waiting to see it, plus his inside game has taken instep back in efficiency as well, shooting 37% as a Center is mind boggling
