Very well made video. I will happily eat breakfast foods all day as well. Glad to see you're challenging food rules and your ED. Also, nice piano chops

There’s just something about the ratio of PB-to-Chocolate that makes the trees and eggs more appealing, IMO. Right there with you!
A few weeks ago, I shared my video admitting/explaining how I was blindsided by relapse this past summer, and today makes exactly one month in recovery! (And exactly one month since I’ve been working with an ED Recovery Coach, which has been a game changer!) It’s been harder than anything I’ve ever done before, but it’s also different this time, because I’ve been living with this crap for 18 years and I’m sick of it.
Honestly, at this point, the fear of living with an ED (which ultimately would end in death if the ED voice got its way) is far greater than the theory dying aspects of recovery. I have every reason to believe that doing the hard things on my own this time is going to finally result in long lasting changes and eventually full recovery and food freedom. Which is something that never happened as a result of past treatment attempt (years ago, not recently). And I can say that confidently, even if it’s hard in the moment, because the first time I talked to/met my coach, I actually believed “recovered” is a word I’ll be able to say one day, not just “in recovery” or “recovering.” And hope springs eternal. And I’ll be filming my one month update later today.
As you know, it’s a long journey, and I’m glad to have found your channel because I relate a lot to the ways you explain things and process them transparently and helpfully. Thanks for sharing your story here, I know there are many who feel less alone when those of us who have the drive to share our life experiences so openly, because ultimately, we want to help others and give a sense of not-alone-ness, and I definitely can see evidence of that on your channel.😁💕 (Totally enjoyed this vlog, too!) Keep up with what you’re doing, you’re finding ways to make recovery work while also enjoying and living life, and I have no doubt you’ll reach a place of total freedom someday.

Bellbottoms/flares are really popular in Australia right now

In recovery , ALL foods are o.k. When I was inpatient, they purposely reduced my veggies so that I could eat more calorically dense foods. You are still re-nourishing, so veggies aren't as important as getting enough calories and breaking anorexic habits.
