Pure 91% isopropyl works really well too..It dries up insanely fast but lubes the grips enough to slide them on.

People complain of getting softes or tpr grips try getting longnecks on omg it LITerly took me an hour to get my grips on
I've put on original odi grips just by twisting them on it took me like 10 minutes for each grip

If I don't have an air compressor I just use hairspray it's good because usually you don't use your bars right away so throttle grip doesn't matter

Pro tip: before installing the new grips, clean the bar, and maybe the inside of the grip, with isopropyl alcohol very well to remove any potential oils or grease or anything from touching the bard with dirty hands. If you install brand new grips onto a dirty bar it will potentially damage your brand new grips and they will still slip. Hope this helps :)

These scooter hack videos are so good and help me because I got a new scooter
Another way is you can use a hair dryer to heat up the grips for like 30 seconds and then just use the last technique and it’s real easy so with thick grips like ethic grips this works well

I actually put my grips on with tap water when I don't have any rubbing alcohol. No joke it works.

Emile Blum well, if you spray enough hairspray in your grip they get really slippery so it's easy to put on then they dry up

I've always put ethic grips (hardest ones to put on) on with water, and after waiting an entire night it's perfectly dry ;)

Hairspray is the best. When your grips are "wet" inside they slide on perfectly and when the grips dry inside, theres no way your grips are going to spin etc. They will stick on perfectly

Nik__ 19 i use window cleaner with alcohol the alcohol makes it dry up and it doesnt leave anything i used it on my odi grips
Just use some fucking water! It’s not that I give a shit about saliva, but it’s about how sanitary it would be if you and your friends were switching and using each others scooter! So my suggestion is use either water and alcohol or window cleaner and water!

So wish I watched this video first. I just used brute force to push my new grips on, took about 5 minutes. As I type this I am wearing a wrist brace because I sprained it pushing the grips on.

They are called tie wraps
The absolute best way to put them on is by using completely raw alcohol. All you gotta do is get some on the bar and it just slids on like it's nothing, and believe me my grips are tight as shit and fricking IMPOSSIBLE to get on using any other method and still alcohol works this well. The only downside is that the grips are going to be really slippery for like 24-48 hours after, so do it if it's going to rain or if you're doing something else during one or two days.
I used axe body spray pretty sure u can use any other cologne too
