Hi Chris I would like to thank you for your tutorials, they are a pleasure to follow. I have a question for you: I have seen in recent times a dozen tutorials on how to draw gears in solidworks with most of these showing " the how to " using the assembly environment. You really need to know some parameters before fishing out the right size gear from the toolbox to fit in your setup therefore I am very happy to see how you can you draw them from scratch in the part environment as shown in other clips. In terms of teaching the how and why I don t see any other tutor on the web more qualified to teach how to create a drive train explaining how to size one of the cog down or up retaining the same teeth size. I hope you can help.
Hi Chris, your videos are brilliant and super helpful, especially in combination with the exercises and the material on your webpage! It seems like you are not covering the Manufacturing module of Creo, but do you happen to know of any good tutorials or resources which help a beginner to get started with that?
