@Thesadpalestinianball I'm animating the final ~2 minutes of AA77 using the FDR data. I'm doing this because the NTSB animation looks like crap and doesn't take into account positional drift and altitude errors caused by flying at high speed and at a low altitude and it also doesn't correct for the altimeter being set to standard at the moment of impact. I'm still figuring it out though so it'll take me a bit.
@@krissem11fr they had the option to make a 757 max and a 737 max but they chose 737 max because they forgot to build the 757 (disclaimer maybe they actually did)
@@Abirdguy I think because Boeing discontinued the assembly of the 757 it would be pretty costly to start producing it again, so they just updated their best selling (and arguably ugliest) design, creating the absolute abomination that is the 737 max, an 80 year old dressed up in kids clothes.
@@krissem11 yeah they literally chose money over safety (the A320 neo was taller then the 737-800 or the matter of fact the whole 737 series so they put the engines higher what made it go to high, they installed Mcas, it was to aggressive and pilots didnt know about it, so they complained to Boeing cuz Boeing aint tell them what the hell Mcas is, this made crashes and a couple of incidents, ruining Boeing reputation) less people (the 757-300 can carry more people then the 737 max) and in my opinion and many other 757 lovers, THEY STOPPED PRODUCING ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT edit (for the incompetence for 1 of them, it was that the 757 was the best narrow body made by Boeing)
