Been watching since I was 11 now I'm 18. recently did my A-levels and didn't watch much Yogscast, it made me realize how much I missed them and love them. For the rest of my life, I'll never forget them.
Honestly, this was a really sweet video. I was half expecting it to be Sjin, Duncan, Hannah, etc, basically "the talent" but instead it was a wonderful focus on the people BEHIND the Yogscast, the true talent, who make the whole thing what it is today. Giving some very hard working people a genuine moment of spotlight that they more than deserved.
Agreed - still it would have been nice to have heard Sjin and Duncan's reminincenceses too.

Made me realize that's the real story of the Yogscast. The guys in the videos make the videos in the same way Brad Pitt makes a movie. On the other end it's a business about make it funny, get the footage, cut it and stitch it up and ship it out, day after day. This was really cool to see.

Jaffa factory and shadow of Israel was OG
Kinda wish they would do a new Modded Minecraft series called "Dwarven Delicacies". Using various mods, including Pam's harvestcraft and such. Similar to Jaffa Factory, but Bigger. Built from the acquision of FuccuShitu *aka Sipsco* and the Honeydew Jaffa Factory. Comprised of Simon, Lewis, Duncan and Sjin. The main focus, to build the greatest Minecraft business ever made, that puts the original factories to shame. Using all aspects of the pack. Would have been interesting to be honest :(

or reboot it where its totally the same (period correct pc's and the lot) to start with but the longer it goes on it gets like intertwined with the other series and other timey-whiemy wibbly-wobbly shennanigans and expands into its own proper like 100 ep series like tekkit or whalelords

Been watching for 9 years. You guys have seriously saved my life. I was going through a rough time in 2010-2013. My parents divorced, my mom was struggling financially, and I was dealing with a lot of shit at school. But I always knew that I could come home to watch you. Thank you guys for helping me through some rough times, and I never stopped watching you guys. To show my support, I've donated about $400 to the charity livestreams, $10 to the game that shall not be named, have watched almost every video twice (on the main channel), and gone around looking like a neek shouting "I am Dave! Yognau-open parentheses-gh-closed parentheses t, and I have the balls!"

Must be a matter of opinion. To me, Turps seems like one of the most unlikable twats in the world. It's almost amazing to me that he got anywhere with people skills.

Me too, that's what I was hoping for. I haven't watched the Yogscast in years, to be honest, but I used to watch them in 2009 when I was only 9 and I was in love with them for like 6 years or so. I still have that love for them but it was mostly for the original cast.
I watched them since around August 2011, and I'm the same - a lot of the newer cast members I don't even know who they are? I'm assuming they came about more recently?
Got me reminiscing on my childhood.. giggling at granny bacon, quoting Simon at any given moment. What an impact your ten years have had on my life..
Yogscast Beginnings (Abridged) - Turps: "Do you fancy a job?" Everyone who got hired: "Yeah, sure. Why the hell not?"
As soon as Josh said he tweeted Turps for a job, i instantly knew the future of Turps' twitter feed is just going to be tons of fans asking for a job.
I had no clue Turps had been a part of the Yogscast for so long and that he came up with some of the most iconic ideas early on. Amazing creativity on this guy.

I started watching at 8, I never played WOW, but I sure enjoyed the videos, then I watched the New Vegas play through where I fell in love, then minecraft started, this channel became a place I went to escape my problems, a place to hide from my depression, a place where I had people I felt like had been my friends. I fondly remember the original Gmod, the Hannah vids, the minecraft stuff, the Dayz, all of it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Yogscast. You’ve made my life something to look forward too, and I’m so glad that you guys have stuck around.

Looking back to the glory days of the Yogscast makes me want to cry as although I am not that old it still reminds me of when days were simpler and how much I miss the old gang.... but no matter what I will always love the Yogscast and the hope that it symbolises for me and possibly many others.

Yep I guess I am still stuck in the days of bad microphones and planet orb survival with bad adventure maps but I can still appreciate how much things have changed for the better however there will always be a hole in my heart from simpler times.

This video made me cry yogscast was the best part of my childhood and I hope through my adulthood too. Thank you so much for making me wake up every morning waiting for the next video. Shout out to the Jaffa factory series, surviving a night in the wild and that time simon accidentally pushed Lewis into a river from a boat and of course that time sjin and sips managed to stop the voltz series with “the bomb”. Also Simon is my husband and always will be peace love 🙆🏼♀️🍜
Surprised Hannah wasn't in this, she's been there since the beginning. Still loved that it was focused on the employees who don't usually get the spotlight. You all work so hard and it shows in the final product of each video. My favourite editor is whoever does Sjin's videos, so much fun to watch.

Whatever yogs that does pull through will never be the same however. Although since Spiff is there I'm sure he'll figure out how to exploit quality content and take over the role of Lewis as he ages or a scandal about him comes out.

Its lovely seeing a group of friends grow, and how it grew into a business.. 10years is an achievement many of the channels I use to watch have disappeared.. i'm clinging on to the yogscast as I want to see you develop, age and reminisce; like you have here, these a fond memories in my life too.. even though I dont know u guys Ive followed u since you burned down your house. The channel has changed but thats down to your generosity sharing the limelight, simon and lewis are the wider yogscast and I look forward to the jingle jams for nostalgic reasons and look in occasionally amongst the thousands of ttt gmod and gtav crap to check you're still alive.. wishing you all the best till next time big kiss

It's crazy, I started watching Yogscast roughly 9 years ago, I was in school, I've been through uni and now I'm an IT Engineer and I still watch Yogscast. I've had a relationship that lasted 7 years and ended recently in those within those 9 years, so really, my relationship with Yogscast is stronger than my ex? Haha.

Can we just have an episode going around the office and seeing what the editors get up to? That'd be definitely interesting.

I remember having a thought a bit after i started watching The Yogscast. I can remember it clearly too. Anyways; ''Theres so much people in the yogscast videos, it doesnt feel like only Honeydew and BlueXephos anymore''. And now i realize how ignorant i was. I didnt know that much about businesses, i didnt know what you needed to have a thriving company, didnt know that you need to have alot of great people involved onboard etc. There was not that many companies around that had the amount of percent sucess that yogscast had, and that is just because yogscast was that great haha. See how happy they are telling these stories, they almost explained them they same way! My point; i love yogscast for the enjoyable content they make, the whole crew seemed to be having a great time. And thats important. Good on them, keep it up.
EDIT: I didnt stop watching after this thought duuuuh. It was just interesting too look back on it, and on how i have evolved as a human hahahah.
Z4G I started watching them i 2010 and I even didn't know turps was a ceo from the beginning. Although I knew everything else about them. Even now I get tired of some youtubers and content but I still watch yogscast daily. They made my teenage years helped me laugh all of the time. So to all of them thank you.

For a RUclips channel, the editing of Yogscast videos are probably the best on RUclips.
Sovietwomble has some pretty top notch editting too. takes absolute ages for new episodes to appear however.
I’m 5 years late, so I’m assuming a 15 year anniversary will be coming soon. This channel was so special to me when I was teenager, it was my safe space to get lost in during some rough times. I was obsessed with your Minecraft lets plays like Tekkit, the various story maps, and of course Shadow of Israphel. While I’ve grown up and moved on from Minecraft for the most part, I still daydream about how the series would have ended and about playing on a copied file of the world I felt so immersed in. Really hoping to see SoI return someday (fingers crossed for the 15 anniversary?) but not holding my breath. Nonetheless thanks for the memories guys.

maybe he's classed as a content creator now? instead of an employee that might imply he's editing still.
Content Creators aren't classed as employee's.
The creators are independent. They stop getting hourly pay for (in his case) producing videos, and start making commission solely off of content, which Yogs Turps pays the employees with.
I can't imagine a world without the Yogscast. Thanks for an amazing 10 years, and here's to another decade!
I've been here for at least the years of the Jaffa Factory or maybe even farther back, and I will always treasure the Yogscast for until their final curtain call is made, and even though no one might see this or care.......

It feels like they skimmed over the early days a bit much. There was so much stuff before Turps. I was expecting them to talk about Ye Olde Goon Squad a bit more and the old guildmates and how the channel was basically created from a forum/guild community.
Loveisinportant not to mention people like TB, Jesse cox, and other youtubers they were involved with back then just completely got ignored. I kinda thought this would be more of a like "the story of yogscast" but more so "the story of yogscast from a business perspective"
Not surprising as TB ripped them a new one over the Yogscovery debaucle.
@@max4750 I was pretty familiar with how Yogscast started in terms of the standard Goons onwards narrative, and although I went into it expecting to watch something telling that story again I thought this was a refreshing change. I didn't know most of this stuff.

God, I’ve been with you guys since 2011 and I’ve witnessed your development over the years. A plethora of my old accounts had all been subscribed to you at some point or another! I have been through a lot of shit in my life but the Yogscast always shone through and helped. It makes me feel SO old when you mentioned the Jaffa Factory as I remember waiting for that to happen! Thanks for the 7 full years of fun and laughter and can’t wait until 2021 so I’ll have been watching you for 10 years...
It'd be really cool if you did... like... if you drew the story of the yogscast... like, major events or memories on like a timeline on years...

Thanks guys, it's incredible when I think about how much you've influenced me and been there for me. I found you guys in 2011 when I started secondary school and now I'm going to university in a few months, you've been with me for so long through big stages of my life and I'm still excited to watch your latest upload. Here's to 10 more years, because I honestly can't remember much of my life that you haven't been in
