❤❤❤Great video again! Although I was "terrified" your car-snow scraping😊. Pls, use the hard plastic end only for windows!! Do not open the locks or doors by force. Use silicon spray for the rubber parts in your doors and by lock metling spray and use then quite often, even if you do not use your car. First, clear the snow around your door frames also a part of the roof above the door. Then start "tapping", gently banging the door frames by your hand. So that you can start the car and then continue the snow and ice removal. I would recommend to drive/park your car like into an underground parking place, shopping mall or other warm place and let your car completely melt and dry. Remove the snow and ice often, even if you do not use the car. You get the silicon and lock sprays from every gas station or big enough supermarket. You got it right, to go back to the old ways of living and having hobbies. Great bread, yam!😊. And you are right with the language studies!! We have a saying, that it takes "strong butt/bottom muscles" to learn any language and you got one of the most difficult, Finnish😢😮😅. We will come again to your beautiful country. And we will built it again, together❤❤❤. Best Regards from Tampere!

These are such helpful tips about the car, thank you so much 🙏❤. I totally understand why that part of the video was terrifying to watch 😄. Usually a brush does its job of cleaning snow from the car, but this time it was just helpless - we weren’t ready that snow on the car could turn into ice like that 😬. So your advice is greatly appreciated, with these tips we'll be more prepared and better equipped next time 🤗
And I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the video (despite the scraping moment 😄). Learning Finnish is indeed a challenge, and I really like that saying you mentioned, it’s so true 😅.
Thank you so much for this comment ❤. Warm greetings to Tampere! 🤗❤

The flat plastic end of the snow brush is good for scraping ice off the windows, but I would advise against using it on the body panels of the car that are of metal. You will get many scratches in the paint of the car.

Another lovely video! It's wonderful to see the beautiful scenery of wintertime Finland through your eyes. I agree with you about wanting to do "old-fashioned" hobbies like knitting and baking that my younger self also would have thought was boring. I also commend your baking efforts! My husband and I just acquired a Dutch oven and want to use it to try to make sourdough too. It does require a lot of experimentation but is very fun! Your lasagna looks great. Do you have a recipe you can share? Love from Seattle, WA, US. ❤

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! ❤ A Dutch oven is now my favorite thing in the kitchen, I believe you'll enjoy experimenting with it too. I’m not sure the lasagna I make is classic, but I think this version tastes pretty good. When I cooked it for my nephews, they just loved it, even being as picky as kids can be. Here’s the recipe:
      Meat sauce:
      - fry one onion until softened
      - add half a kilogram of ground meat (pork, beef, or a mix)
      - cook until the meat is no longer pink
      - pour in 1 cup of tomato paste and season with salt, pepper and dried herbs to your taste
      - cover and cook for about 20 minutes, occasionally mixing.
Bechamel Sauce (70g butter, 70g flour, 1 liter of milk):
      - in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
      - add flour and whisk for about 30 seconds
      - slowly pour in 1 cup of milk, whisking until well combined and lump-free
      - add the remaining milk in 1 cup increments, mixing well after each addition
      - cook and stir until the mixture thickens
      - add nutmeg (optional)
      Assembly:
      - preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F
      - spread a bit of bechamel sauce on the bottom, just to cover
      - place a layer of lasagna sheets, then a layer of meat sauce, then bechamel and repeat the layers for about 3-4 times
      - top the last layer with sauce and cheese
      - bake until golden (about 30 minutes)

Please try to cover it with canvas so that snow doesn't directly fall on car roof or stick .Not sure but try once.

If you have the opportunity to connect your car to the electrical box. heating the car's engine and interior with electric heating makes it much easier to drive in winter. And if you also cover the windshield with a protective cloth, it's even easier to set off after a snowstorm. Heaters are not extremely expensive. With installation, a little over 500 euros, a radiant heater for the engine and an internal plug. The indoor space heater itself doesn't cost many tens. I like your videos!

Pryvit Olia and Shchaslyvoho Novoho Roku ... Diakuyu for another wonderful relaxing video, it's great to hear from you ... Good for you not using spray chemicals to de-ice your car, your way was better and perhaps a bit moe "fun" ... The food you're cooking looks delicious especially the bread, after seeing some of your past recipes i always think to myself "hmm, id like to try doing that" ... Feeding the birds looked pretty special, how long did it take to build their trust ? ... What a lovely video Olia, molodets & diakuyu Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦🇬🇧 ... I loved your pre Christmas video but haven't had the energy to reply to it, im currently undergoing radiotherapy on a cancer on one of my vocal cords and the past five weeks has really knocked me out, ive watched all your videos again during this time, they are so relaxing ... I'm so sorry to hear about your tough time, it’s heartbreaking, but I truly appreciate you sharing it with me. It means so much to me knowing that my videos can, even if just for a little bit, provide some relaxation and comfort during such a challenging time. And I really hope you feel much much better very soon ❤
I’m flattered to hear that the food I share makes you want to try making it. The birds on that island are usually trusting, they‘re used to people. So it doesn’t take long to wait until the bravest of them become curious about what treats you have in your hand.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment. I wish you strength, comfort, and brighter days ahead. Sending you big hugs, obijmaiu. Take care! 🙏🤗

Thank you very much for your new video. Again a delight to watch and listen - except...
please, please do not scrape the painted car surfaces! That is a guaranteed way to destroy the paint! Scrape the windows only.
Only brush/wipe the painted surfaces. You don't need to get them totally ice-free.
Use silicon spray or stick for the door and boot lid rubber seals. Dry them first.
If a door or boot lid is frozen and stuck, don't rip it open - unless you absolutely must. Drive along and let the car warm up first.
Lift your windshield wipers up, when you park the car for a night, so that the wipers won't freeze to the windshield. Use a windshield (or bigger for all windows) cover for the night to keep the windshield (or all windows) clear of snow and ice. They are cheap.
    Enjoy your winter!
