Love the "too clean" tip, that saved me from buying a mistake a few years ago. My dad noticed that there was some major work done they failed to mention that we noticed because things were just "too clean".
This is such an awesome informative video! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this style of video it will be so helpful to so many people. We ended up going with a Transit - fingers crossed that ours is an exception to the norm and goes ok around Aus when borders open back up!
THANK YOU THANK YOU! I have always wanted to buy a van and travel around Australia but had 0 clue on the first thing I'd need to know! Until now! I've found one on facebook market place and going for an inspection Friday! So I've made a checklist based on what you've said! Thanks so much!
Very helpful Mitch, I was looking on buying a sprinter as i have a vw t5 at the moment and want to have a big enough vehicle to work away on projects (carpenter builder )as well as tour around but I'm in two minds now wether to buy a large truck/lorry even a horsebox with capacity to have a small garage space for tools under bed area but realise the problems again with going to big How does the iveco compare to the sprinter for driving for you
Tough choice mate! I think it might be hard to be able to squeeze and workshop/ tool storage into a sprinter - maybe a truck might be a better option? The Iveco is pretty comparable to the sprinter - feels a little bigger and wider but both drive really well
Hi Mitch, lots of good info mate thx for that. We just bought a 2004 Sprinter and we can't get a good agreed price from any known insurer is there any you can recommend its also for campervan conversion. Cheers man.
Nice stuff bro! Can you tell me what the internal height of these heigh roof Ivekos? I've only had Hiaces and Commuters but over not being able to stand up. Looking at these or the new transit for my next build
i wish facebook m marketplace was usuable still. im so fed up with trying to look and every listing is "price shown is down payment" with no full price listed.

SALTY VANVENTURES thanks heaps bro! I’d say around 180cm internal height, that’s without a ceiling or floor though...
@@mitchcox8199 Oh right, I thought they might be higher. I'm 6"3' so i'll be needing more than that. The new transit boasts 6"7' internal height!
SALTY VANVENTURES yeah I’m just under 6ft and I don’t have a heap of headroom...transit might be the go 🙌🏼
Legit took notes watching this. Thanks for the help✌️
Great vid dude!
The fuckin coaster , an expensive engine bill waiting to happen
Awesome video, thanks !!
Good lad.Subscribed.
“i can finally stand up in” how tall are you OP, and does my 5’2 self have to worry about that?
at 5'2 you could stand in a standard height van
Such great advice, many thanks...
good job, mate.
13 GRAND?! That's freaking cheap compared to where I live..! I need to buy over there.. oAo;;
Really helpful video, thank you!!
How many km's does it have and did it have a full service history? Epic stuff man!
She’s got 180,000km and a decent service history!
Epic, cheers!! What's the most km's you would buy a van with? Am tossing up between price vs km's vs quality...
i wish facebook m marketplace was usuable still. im so fed up with trying to look and every listing is "price shown is down payment" with no full price listed.
