I’m in Minnesota, about an 8 hour drive south of Canada, and I sound nothing like someone from New York or New Orleans...it’s like 3 different regional dialects. Loved the look and can’t wait to get my palettes!! Also, beautiful earrings 🙂
These are seriously gorgeous pinks! I wouldn't say this is out of your comfort zone, that shimmer on your lid looks like a muted lilac when surrounded by all those shades.
Ooh!! Way more interested than I thought I was!! No matter how many pics or how well they are done, they never do these palettes justice. Even the taupes. They looked very dark to me (a boring dark, like just different shades of brown) when I first saw a pic. There is another one that people love, and with only seeing pics I thought it was boring. Maybe the Sahara? But looked very different in a video I saw the other day. They said it was underrated. I can see why. If the pics don't show all this beautiful contrast, its just hard to tell and be inspired. I know juvia's isn't gonna sell boring, but still like to know what i am getting (which is one reason I LOVE videos like this soooo much!!). Many beautiful blessings!!

I love these I have a hard time finding pallets with lighter shades like this. I'm so super pale I can't wear dark shades they just don't work with my ghostly white skin. These are definitely in my wheel house. Love them all.

Angie, The Emerald Queen! 😊😊 loving the earrings! These new palettes look cute! I personally didn't enjoy the quality of the mini Juvia's 6 pan Purples palette they released in their first palette bundle launch. Those felt very chalky, dry and seemed a bit Morphe-esque to me.They didnt melt into my skin like a typical Juvias Place palette would. The mattes in particular left a lot to be desired. I think I may pick up the taupe palette in this release, though! The swatches look promising! Hopefully they're typical Juvias Place quality!
If I really want a matte to show up, regardless of brand, I do what I did in this video. Tap the darkest shadow on unset primer and blend the edges with the lighter shade :)
@@AngelicaNyqvist this is a great tip that I need to get into the habit of doing! I do the reverse method of that, and with some brands, when i try layering the darker matte over the lighter matte, the dark shade doesn't show up at all and if it does show up? It just blends into nothing! I will now get into the habit of doing your method because it's just so much better. Thanks Angie! 😊
Bilingual Canadian here! Mauve is a French word, the au in French is pronounced like an OH sound. Maw-ve is the American (more anglicized) way to say it. Really, for how many Americans say it their way, it’s taken over the original pronunciation so whatever you wanna say is fine at this point 😂
