I absolutely love it so far, 10000xbetter and more efficient than FlipaClip, but I’d recommend keeping copy and paste separated so we can paste specific things onto different frames/layers :D
I’m interested in doing animation for a long time, and now I found this app, and as I try it out, I’ll say it is one of the best animation app for iPad. Now I’m starting my Very own channel, and planning to do some animation. I just love this app ❤

Yes that would be awesome, a bit more FX to mangle our images/animations. Grain/Noise would be awesome too.

Hey ToonSquid I’m not sure if this is a feature yet but could you add something where you can copy and paste stuff between projects? An example from another animation app I used to use is that I could copy a drawing from one animation and paste it in a separate project animation. I think that would be really useful to for reusing backgrounds and what not. Please consider this idea because it would make the app perfect!!
Love the app!! if I could request one features it would be a way of having a perspective guide setting where you can fully customise it as I usually have to draw it by hand in procreate then import it elsewhere. Would be great to have many vanishing points in my mind something like a hybrid between complexity of clip studio and and the simplicity of procreates symmetry and perspective guides

Thanks! Do you mean that your pixel layers get blurry when you move or resize them? If so, you can try changing the resizing filter to "Nearest": toonsquid.com/handbook/transform/transform_tool/#resizing-filter

One thing I'd love help with if anyone knows, is it possible to import Procreate brushes to this app? If not is it possible to add support for that? And are there any custom made brushes for this app i can use?
Not yet. Photoshop brushes are supported but I still have to add dual brush support. Then I'll look into the possibility of importing Procreate brushes.

Love the update, love the app! One question: is it possible to use keyframes for transformations using Perspective or Warp? From my quick testing, it looks like it’s not possible yet.
Thank you! The perspective and warp scaling modes can currently be used to edit the contents within a pixel layer (destructively). Animating the distortions with keyframes will be its own separate feature for me to tackle in the future, since it ties into other larger-scale necessary changes / additions.

Hello. Firstly I must say this app is amazing. One thing though, applying a stroke or corner radius to a rectangle appears stretched. Once it is not a perfect square it becomes stretched. Is there something I am missing ? I cannot have a rectangle with a nice even stroke or nice even corner radius.
Thank you! This issue that the path tool would cause the corner radius for rectangle shapes to stretch when you drag to draw the shapes with the "rectangle" or "rounded rectangle" modes should now be fixed with the 1.7.2 update.
Generally speaking, you can resize vector layers by either changing their scale (just like with other layers), which scales and stretches all layer contents, or you can switch the transform tool into "Edit path" mode in which case it will only move the vector control points in the layer, which will keep the stroke thickness and corner radii consistent.
I know I had already responded to you via e-mail but I wanted to mention it here again in case someone comes across this.

I’ve recently gotten toonsquid and I used to work with flipaclip (still do) and I’m wondering how you insert photos onto toonsquid, since i wanna try out toonsquid for my series and animating.
Is there a way to revert symbol into frames?
How can we add grid lines in the background?
Can this app use universal stylus or 3rd party stylus, cause calipeg Only can use Apple pencil

I try it very2 good app. I have some bugs, i use ipad pro m1, key frame camera edit scale (zooming) can't change. This happens when I have more than 3 seconds of animation at 24 fps. Hope this issue can be fixed soon thank you toonsquid team!

@@toonsquidart problem solved! maybe It happened because the file was too heavy or something else, I solved the problem when I closed the program and then reopened it. And the transform tool is working again! But sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it happens after using the program for a long time. I will send my project file to check

When I try copy and pasting, it kind of strains my eyes. And most of the time I work in the dark which just makes it worse. Is there an option to turn off the lines? If not please make one
