genuine question: is it worth farming hog for dmg when your team is regrouping if you already have ult? doesnt that just give him and the enemy supports more ult charge?

I mean genuienly speaking in terms of just game wise- no it isn't lol but it could also maybe bait CDs/Ammo so it depends.
