I do NOT own Higurashi no naku koro ni (kai), nor the song. I only reversed it!

In the original version, they say this one word in reverse; "Nigerarenainda" and when they're saying that, they're saying "You cannot escape". Completely fits Higurashi perfectly.

Observing from just what I'm hearing, it's amazing how you can get "Gomenasai" from 2:17 when the original phrase was (this is just from listening to another video, I'm not 100% sure) "soshite tame wo no kosonaide". ed ianos ouk oun emat etishos o_O?
Hard to tell if everything was intentional or just to mess with our minds like how the manga/anime was already doing.
More or less clarifying my point. That section is the reversed form of the section of the original op but it is the only similarity. It doesn't have all the hidden phrases the first one had reversed. I think it was a shame too as they could have done a lot with it.
It's harder for me to hear any words in this one compared to Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (the song), but this one is more haunting to me...I don't know why...

That is in the original opening this is the opening for the second season. The first season op has actually quite a few hidden phrases in it but this one not so much.

Forgot to say, so I'm replying to my own comment. I went to check this out cause I heard that around the part where they sing "Break free" in the original song. That it says "You cannot escape."
if someone create a beat out of this reversed music and also the melody of the song that eiko shimamiya sings in reversed, and tidy up a bit, it would become a very beautiful song. please someone do this 😭
actually, if she'd sang Naraku no Hana with this melody it would still sound very ethereal and powerful

I used a couple of programs. One to turn the normal mp3 file to a .wav file, and the other program to reverse the .wav file. Then I used the first program again to turn them into normalsized mp3 files ^^

I used Nuendo (a hacked version) to convert the files to .wav files and the other program, I dont know the name anymore. It had a green layout and it was a trial version xD sorry I dont know the name anymore :(
