SO is that the main program you use for final trim? or do you also use other ones?
Where abouts are you based working out of? Cheers Garry

This is the main operating system we use. It’s called Cat Grade, pretty much identical to Trimble Earthworks. Inside the system there is a 2d version as well which doesn’t require satellites and can be used in remote areas. If you’re referring to the infield design it’s self, they are job specific. If it’s just a house cut I’ll make an infield design with just a level pad. If batters are required I can do them up as shown in the video or if it’s a bigger project with multiple levels we will liaise with our surveyor to do up an infield design going off the plans for the job. They then send us the job files and we load it into the system and start digging.
      We’re in Canberra, Australia.

Can you do all that without having a base station setup on-site?

Yeah mate, the machines come with a modem in them that you put a SIM card in to which runs off satellites (same as a mobile phone pretty much). We never use base stations although a base station is generally better off for accuracy etc
