Was blessed that this was my first RMC! Man! Don't regret it for noooooooothing. Coaster damn near whooped my ass though. My lord. . .This is the best RMC to date.
It was my first RMC also and I live in Miami. I just got back from Orlando and added 8 more coasters to my credit list including the insane Velocicoaster. I’m going to Bush Gardens Tampa in 2 weeks to Ride Iron Gwazi which will be my second RMC.
Such an awesome/amazing ride! Best ride in the park by far! Use to think Millennium force was the best until they revamp the mean streak (now known as steel vengeance). I've enjoyed this party for decades. Truly the best for coasters this side of the country.
I rode SV twice now and always go back on board AND Offride. I listen with volume turned UP!!! But this video right here is TOP. The sound is awsome. Thanks for the video. Ok guys , I gotta go. Time to go watch it again.
Its supposed to sway a bit. If it doesn't at all, it means it can break down. Excessive swaying can also be a concern though, but here it looks just fine.
secret to the rmc smoothness steel track keeps the train in place, wood structures are shock absorbers (or at least that's how i think about it) combined with a low budget (if renovating an older coaster) & super creative track designs, RMC is the best thing to happen to rollercoaters in decades
With a wooden coaster (or one with wooden supports) you want some movement. Think of it like a tree shaking in the wind. Wood will break if its rigid enough, it should move a bit with the forces exerted on it to absorb the movement. One exception was son of beast. If you watch off ride footage of that, it moves WAY too much. One of the major issues with it. Not that SteVe doesnt have struggles either because it does, making a hyper coaster with wooden supports is a challenge all on it's own. It's a lot of stress on the wood.
Is it normal that you can see the construction moving/wobbling after the train has passed like on 1:31 and on 1:40 min ? Saw it a couple times earlier in the video aswell.
@@teentitans0789 That makes sense for steel supports which are basically unbreakable, but wood? It seems dangerous. Doesn’t wood warp and bend over time? Won’t that affect the strength of the supports?
@@squares4u I rode SteVe twice this week. The flexing and wobble is all part of the design so the force of the train moving over the track is dispersed. Even steel coasters sway, you just don’t see it unless you’re looking for it. Maintenance is also constantly checking and replacing wood on Steel Vengeance, especially in the areas that have the most sway.
Hey Zach, amazing footage as always! Would it be ok if I used this in an upcoming video? I would provide credit of course. And no worries if you'd rather I didn't use it.
usually between 1-3 hours filming depending on the ride, 2-3 hours in post (stabilization, cropping, color correcting), and maybe an hour editing the actual video that's uploaded
Hello Zach Clarke. I deeply apologize if I may have used most of your content on a video that I’ve published. My intentions were just to try to experiment with video editing. Once again I am deeply sorry about using your content against your will, I’m deeply sorry,
Notice how much the track sways and flexes at various points of the ride?! Wow...
It's supposed to
It's completely normal, it's a way of the track exerting the g forces placed on it without breaking or damaging the structure too much.
I'd be VERY nervous if it didn't sway
secret to the smoothness
@@ThemeParkAspectthe question though is how much is too much
Still the best coaster cinematography I've ever seen! Keep up the Incredible work!!
finally a video that captures the greatness of this ride
That's crazy how much the track moves when the train goes through the 0 g roll
offrides often capture the greatness of rides more than onrides

Want to talk about blessed, I actually managed to get on this thing opening day, BEFORE the crash!

i work this ride, love the channel, super happy you rode dude
These shots are actually that good 2:44

no other footage shows and encapsulates the sway of the wood. Awesome
Amazing footage, best I’ve seen in a while! 🔥
1:40 OH MY GOD THE SUPPORTS

Amazing job! These are some great clips!
Cool shots. Thanks for uploading.
Can't wait to ride this in July
This is such an awesome coaster, but when I see the tracks wobble like that after the train was passing through it made me nervous LOL

@@whitneyg9150 Good point. It just made me nervous for some reason
@@16Duvald totally understandable -- I'm afraid of heights! Some rides I cant do. Coasters are an exception.
Sheeeesh, look at how much the wood is flexing and swaying!!!!!!!
Gorgeous footage
Nice Coaster You Made In NL2
what a beautiful fuckin ride bro, thank you
I love steal vengeance

@@teentitans0789 I agree with you that the structure "sway" looks a little bit excessive.

Bro is literally the plug for coaster editors
What camera do you use?

Probably don't wanna give this one up for free, but I appreciate you asking
the dude at 2:21 with his arms out in the white t shirt is awesome
Fantastic
People's reaction to son of beast: holy crap, it has a loop!
People's reaction to steel vengeance: my name is Jeff.
sick
thanks dad
Umm why is the coaster swaying?
It has to. Engineering is amazing! All coasters away, if not, they would buckle.
How much time do you spend per coaster filming?
usually between 1-3 hours filming depending on the ride, 2-3 hours in post (stabilization, cropping, color correcting), and maybe an hour editing the actual video that's uploaded
This is why I wished I lived in the US… C’mon Cedar Fair, upgrade the Mighty Canadian Minebuster with RMC steel tracks😭
Love the footage! Can I use some of the Dollywood footage you made? Also, what camera do you use?
I use a Z6. If you send me an email at zachclarkephoto@gmail.com I'd be happy to work out licensing.
@@zach_clarke Okay! :)
I fucking love coasters I've been on some of the best. This would have me scared.
why would you upload this after i already made a steel vengeance fancam
