Neglected Guardrail in Disrepair Kills Passenger in Multi-Vehicle Collision

The Georgia Department of Transportation's sub-contractors, Arcadius and Martin Robbins neglected repairs on a severely damaged guardrail, resulting in a weakened barrier. Tragically, a collision involving a taxi and a Kia Sorento led to the Kia crashing into the faulty guardrail and colliding with a concrete surveillance pole, causing the death of passenger Katrice Hunter and severe brain damage to the driver. Matt Kahn and Jeb Butler of @ButlerKahn used an accident reconstruction animation to help secure their co-plaintiff over $40M in policy limits between the three organizations.
