Hi all. So, Alyssa's blue sky tweet, at 2:58:15 in this video has got my dander up a little. She says that Mark Kern is demanding players "vote with their wallets" and "not buy games for 2 years", and those angry young men then have disposable income they can give to Mark Kern. OK, so, what she is saying there (other than the insinuation that Grummz is somehow going to scoop up a bunch of money which otherwise would've gone to EA or Ubisoft, which is a laughable conspiracy theory on its face) is that she is annoyed that those 'angry young men' aren't just giving away their disposable income to companies that are producing sub-par, ideologically driven, trash video-games. This is proof positive that Alyssa is an activist first and a gamer distantly second. Her attitude is, "well, you're a gamer, so you spend your money on video-games, right? Why does it matter if the game is something you want to play or not? Buy it anyway. The publishers are just preaching progressivism at you for your own good, and the good of the planet." She expects us to just carry on throwing money at game-makers regardless of whether they make anything good or not. No, Alyssa, we buy things that we want, and don't buy things that we don't want. Game developers and publishers are businesses, not charities or NGO's. They have the means to support themselves, and that means is 'producing good products'. If they don't do that, they will not remain in business. The industry has begun waking up to the fact that they have to make good games if they want our money. The activist games journalists and political ideologues that have been trying to change the industry to their way of thinking over the last 15-20 years have been a major part of these companies failing so badly of late, but they will never admit it. Screw Kotaku, screw Polygon, screw Eurogamer, screw SBI, screw BGG. The industry shut-downs and layoffs are your fault, not ours. "If you don't like it, don't buy it." We didn't... so we didn't. To the games industry:- Listen to your customers. They are sending you a message. Loud and clear.
@@ejsmen1 Also, while we're at it: Any hair/fur is keratin. Nails/claws/horns/hooves are also keratin. And, BTW FYI, reptilian and fish scales are keratin as well. It's *all* keratin. So it's not just the head. Her lower half is covered with "hair". The More You Know.
Great show from everyone. People change, so EA got some old people back for Bioware...EEEEHHHHHH still don't mean the games gonna be good. Only way to save the franchise and the studio. is the ending scene with Shepards "last breath". Liara finds him and Lazarus Projects Shep again. having a comic cannon story generator like they did with ME2 & ME3 if you dont have a save file at all or anymore. Pick the choices that created the universe left behind before shepard was "lost". if Liara was a love interest have a beautiful reunion and show that realtionship over the game, making up for lost time. is shep was a loner then that could anyway or Mass Effect 5 your shep could stay a loner. But the stories gonna have to be meaningful, insightful and gameplay that makes one want to replay the title NG+ "x" times over besides legendary edition into 5. Heres the question can they pull it off. I myself don't think Bioware can. EA would literally have to hire some hardcore fans(Cough cough myself included) besides bringing back old bioware members to keep the game on track and successful. I'd like to be wrong. but i just dont see it
My problem with Exodus is that from what nuhre was saying is that some of the of bioware "Council" are discord mods so community managers for the Exodus team destroys my interest
A quality show glad to see lumi but the layoffs are going to stop to correct leon they don't need ytubers without ytubers they dont exist 2 separate scales its not can we get a ytuber its we need a ytubers thats well respected and can sell our product that people will watch

The fact that game development takes years is a sad testament to how much DEI infested grange will be released in the next few years. I hope the studios releasing this crap close before these games come out. Been a gamer since the Atari 2600 (yea I’m old). I’ve got ps2 ,3 4,and 5 with a vast library of games that were made by once respected companies that have since gone down the road to DEI. It’s sad really.
