Toronto Region allows businesses convenient access to the world, says T&T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee

"For many decades there’s been an assumption that B.C. is the gateway to Asia," says T&T Supermarket CEO and Toronto Global board member Tina Lee. "And while that is still very true, I don’t think it should overshadow that the Toronto Region is very accessible to Asia. A lot of businesses in Asia don’t know that there are 80 direct flights from Toronto to Asia. Toronto being where it is globally gives you access both to Europe and to Asia and to the U.S. - you’re in North America in a very stable trading environment. That’s something that very few cities can say.
