I have literally never done macrame before today. This tutorial was so perfect I signed in FROM Pinterest to make this comment. As long as you take it slow, look over your work, and dedicate 2-5 hours for your first try- this tutorial teaches you this in the easiest way I could possibly imagine. Thank you, liked, subscribed- you’re literally amazing.
Puoi spiegarmi come fare?
I love this .. I’m going to have a go definitely.. just wondering . How many carots is the labradorite I wanna look out for some that size it’s amazing
Usually, it is not done like that because each cabochon is different. Also, the knotting is made in a way to extra secure the stone so it doesn't fall out.
Would like to know if the width is made too small, it won't fit well right? I tried to do one, but the knots seems untidy, not in straight line. I wonder is that due to uneven force applied? Very good video.
It's better for the width to be bigger than smaller. If it's small, the cabochon will slide out. The knotts become untidy because you need to have the perimeter strings secured well when knotting and also as you said, using even force for every knott.
It is mainly a lot of practice. You need to give the same pressure to each node, keep the strings or wires strained, and if something moves, try repositioning it while you still can.
Hello! 🤗 I don't actually know exactly the dimensions. We have created this stand by ourselves without any specific project. We made just what we felt right. You can use also a simple folder with two clips.

Hello Celeste! Thank you for your comment. I don't know the carat of the stone but the length is approx 8cm. Hope this helps.
That does help thank you 😊
Can you use a different cord for this? I have satin cord, I'm afraid it might be too slippery?
Is there a way these can be made interchangeable, So you take one crystal out and replace with another one?
Usually, it is not done like that because each cabochon is different. Also, the knotting is made in a way to extra secure the stone so it doesn't fall out.
Exelente Gracias
Thank you for watching! 🙂
Very nice
Thank you! 🤗🌿

Thank you! NOw, that is how you do a tutorial!!!!
Perdón y como se finaliza ??
👋 hello, can I use cotton waxed thread for this?
How do u keep the space even? I am practising with wire, but the further i wrap, thr smaller it gets. I cant seem to keep the distance even. Th k u
It is mainly a lot of practice. You need to give the same pressure to each node, keep the strings or wires strained, and if something moves, try repositioning it while you still can.
Thanks a lot.
Great idea to use the two colored cords but why is this in fast motion? It's harder to follow with weird unnatural movement.
Is there a way to determine the needed length on the weaving cord?
So cool thanks!! 💚
Where can I purchase the wood workbench thing you are using to hold the strings? Not sure what it's called. Thanks!
😊 Did you ever find out?? About the wooden work station? I can't find anything on it at all! 😭 Want one so bad.
Thank you
❤👏👏👏😊 gracias!¡¡🇦🇷😘

Could I use regular hemp string in stead of wax?
Yes you can! It will be a bit more difficult to thread but you can use any cord
Thank you for your video! Can you tell me where you buy your cabochons from?
Grazieee❤
How long are did you cut the threads? ❤
Vielen Dank!

I put 1 like✨️🥰
So how do you finish it, if I was to turn it into a pendant for a necklace, how would one finish it off
You can continue the knotting with the remaining strings. Or you can add more cord between the knottings.
👍👍👍
Bom dia, como comprar esses cordões?
Cool
thanks
❤️❤️❤️
What type of cord do you use?
Hello Kayla! We use 1.1 mm waxed cord. Sometimes even 1mm thickness.
♥️♥️
😮❤
Where do u get ur string?
What type of string is that ?
It is a waxed cotton cord.
what's the size of the cord?
The cord used on the cabochon is 1,1 mm. Hope this was helpful to you!

You do not show how to do the top bail part? ): lol
What is funny? There are multiple ways that someone can proceed from here. This was just to show how to wrap a cabochon.
