Got a check engine light for cylinder 8 misfire, going to try and fix today, this video helped a ton because I couldn't find them, I would have never guess under that stupid cover. Thanks again!
@@djronthemechanic3695 I too own an '05 RWD, just hit 149K on the odometer last week. Plan to change out the coil packs and spark plugs using your instruction...thanks for uploading this.
Thank you thank you my friend for your help how to remove the spark plug Lincoln 05 I have one the same but never ge done it before glad bless you good help from you
@@djronthemechanic3695 Ok, i ask because i have the same vehicle and i wasnt sure to run it on full synthetic or syntheic blend for a high mileage oil change. When i did research i read alot of negative things about the full synthetic causing leaks but the parts stores told me that full syntheic was recommended for it but i've always used the blend on all my high mileage vehicles. So since running your Aviator on the synthetic blend have you had any issues with it?
@@khalierobinson9904 I haven’t had any issues with mine using that oil, if you still have your manual it has the list of fluids for the Lincoln. I stick with what the manual says to use.
Great, we have the same truck so I think I'll use the synthetic blend. It says the full synthetic is recommended but I've read some issues with those that have used it, plus it is a 20+year vehicle. So if you say you haven't had any issues with the blend i guess thats what i'll be using plus i use the blend for my 07 explorer but wasn't sure with this 05 aviator. Thanks a ton!

Thanks man ;)
Did you have any problems getting the plugs out? This is a “new” vehicle for me and I have heard of plug snapping issues with this engine....
The only toughest one is the one on the passenger side, you will have to take off a couple of hose’s to get to it. The rest of the plugs were easy.
@@djronthemechanic3695 ok, right on, thanks :)
You skipped pulling the old ones and showing what the gap tool was for...
My Bad Nicholas the spark plugs were already gapped correctly for the SUV
Where is the camshaft position sensor on this thing can’t find it please 😢😢😢😢😢
For the oil change on this vehicle would you recommend full synthetic or synthetic blend?
I been using the motorcraft synthetic blend since day one in my SUV
