What you are saying is you dont understand it but if its the UCP idea thats good enough reason to dislike it, so glad you are so thoughtful and bring so much to the conversation.
Well she has organized more beds for the Homeless and more places for addiction treatment, she has made deals with doctors and is raising their pay which was announced last week, the nurse practitioners have been given the go ahead to start seeing clients, all in efforts to fix Alberta's healthcare system. The UCP have made reforms to cut energy costs in the last 2 weeks. This party affiliation is a trail not written in stone yet. Maybe we could focus on some of the positive things that the UCP are trying rather then focusing what the NDP leftist opinions are. Most people saying they think its so bad dont even have a clue what its about, but maybe it will keep Crooked Mayors paying themselves extravagant wages and then raising property taxes 10% on people that are struggling to make mortgage payments and higher Carbon taxes on NG and electricity payments. While Unionized city workers get raises so they will vote NDP.
@@7thpilot we are being herded into believing there are two types of people in this world requiring only two parties to represent them. Municipal politics need to remain uninfected by this garbage dichotomy
Who cares if it’s not something she campaigned on or not? She has every right to go above and beyond what she campaigned on. Party lines will bring some accountability and structure to municipal governance and expose municipal leaders hidden agendas.
Thats awfully fascist of you. Elections are literally the ONLY form of democracy we have. Even in the shitty US system policies are marked right on the ballot in many states. Thats what you are VOTING on. Unless like you, you are just voting for a monarch. And I suspect had Notely won your view would be different.
It matters. Especially since her non-campaign agenda items are a big deal to a lot of people. Maybe, just maybe, some people wouldn't have voted for her if she spoke the quiet parts out loud from the get go.
@@notthativanka5349 Especially ironic since she pretty much ran on an NDP platform of spending, AND a big tax cut which she immediately reneged on. LITERALLY the only reason she got a vote was the "I hate Trudeau vote", which is a pretty dumb way to cast a vote.
@@mikearchibald744 she was voted in because she will stand up for Alberta’s economy. Albertans were given a choice between her and Notley. lol wasn’t a hard decision.
@@mikearchibald744 name the tax cuts? You can’t because it’s not the truth. You’re saying she did and said things, but you’re not saying what she did or didn’t do. I haven’t seen any provincial taxes go up
We need government that is respectful.. learn from NWT legislature.. no party policies.. you vote for the person..
When we’re done you won’t recognize Alberta.
Hogwash.
We recognize it for what it is.
A Tale of Two Cities…
Hogtied by hicks.
It definitely stinks. We don't need partisanship at the municipal level.
Who says it will cause partisanship issues? That’s just an assumption you’ve made

Way to go Danielle this is great idea I want to know who I am voting for if their beliefs align with mine

Everyone should just avoid the party affiliated candidates. Can't force it on us if we don't vote for the party candidate.
Who is to benefit? Right the ucp. Thats all they are interested in. Themselves
What a horrible idea.
Hate to test you but WHY????
