Great video. I have a question, does it have to be 45% or could it be more % on the vinegar? I love your results! Does it also kill crab grass as well?
Thanks for the question. We chose the 45% concentrated however you can use normal household vinegar which is perfectly fine. Hope this helps!

Thanks for watching Robert. Unfortunately this mixture will kill grass as well. This mixture is more for killing weeds on walkways as well as weeds coming out of sidewalk cracks as well as weeds growing in your driveway. Hope this helps.

We have lots of ground that gets covered in weeds, we are getting up upon yrs and have disabilities so need help!! Our concern is, will it kill beneficial soil life & earthworms? Thanks much!!
If I use this on my whole garden could I then plant flowers after or will it make the soil uninhabitable for a long time. I have a very patchy garden and I need to start from scratch
Thanks for watching & we don’t recommend using this inside a garden. Things will grow back over time however just in case, we just spray any & all areas outside of garden. Hope this helps.

Haha You should have had gloves on when pouring that period I have some stuff in my shit Chad that's a vineger pretty scared to use it comes with a danger label.. I use pesticides all the time everyday but we don't use anything with a danger label. I'm definitely using gloves glasses when I pour that and spray. Will this work only if the mixture is sprayed at the root level or even if it's the leaves? Wondering if nearby plants will be damaged if wind blows and droplets land on the leaves of nearby plants? Thanks.
Thanks for watching and that’s a great question. Our experience is that just the slightest spray on the leaves does a lot however carefully applying moisture to roots is the way to go.
Is this practical for spraying 10-15 acres of pasture under fence line and around fence posts? Will I need a million gallons?

It definitely kills the weeds, but I had a problem with the sea salt clogging the sprayer feeding tube.

Probably because sea salt a lot bigger to dissolve. Use Pool salt. Much finer and will dissolve faster. I would even recommend putting it in your car to slightly heat it up for faster dissolve.
If I put it around the edge of my garden will it leach into the soil with watering and rain and hurt the crops in my garden/
Thanks for watching, great question. We will recommend applying this when there’s no rain in the forecast for at least 48 hours.
After 48 hours, it won’t do any damage.
Straight vinegar without the salt or soap works fine. In fact, that concentrated vinegar can, and probably should be, diluted with water. It's far more acidic in that concentrated version than is necessary to kill weeds. I'd dilute it at a rate of, say, three or four to one. That's still more acidic than the food grade stuff you get at the grocery store. Just passing along from personal experience.

I agree. I thought straight concentrate was a bit overkill and wasteful. Use 2 cups of pool salt, a cup of concentrate and water ~ on a gallon. You'd get same results and not have to waste so much imo.
@@realeyesrealizerealies Since writing my original comment, I have switched over to molten lava. It is EXTREMELY effective as a weed killer, grass killer, and pesticide. It also keeps the neighbor's kids off my lawn....whatever is left of it, that is.
But don’t you want to pull the weeds from the roots so they won’t grow back? I know you sprayed the whole plant but is it possible the roots are deeper?

Thanks for watching & this is probably not too friendly to tortoises as the strength of the vinegar may be too uncomfortable for them.

I developed cancer from using Roundup weed killer in the 1980s and 1990s. I can't believe I'm considering using any kind of weed killer but I'm getting to old to pull an acre worth of stubborn weeds. I live in Arizona where everything that grows is a tiny weapon. I have 3 cats,2 dogs whom all roll around outside and drag in cactus needles, hooks, spinney little bits that get in my bedding and furniture. Is this concoction workable in the south west states? My neighbor did a burn last summer and 6 months later the weeds are knee high.
We really appreciate you watching and reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about your experience with Roundup. This is such a great alternative and you will find it to work incredibly well.
It may even work better for you in Arizona than it does for us because of the higher levels of heat and less humidity.
After spraying, we recommend waiting several hours before you allow your pets to go outside. The vinegar is very potent and the animals will not like it.

I watched another video where she used same mixture but not concentrated. She said the weeds grew back quicker and thicker. Does this solution react the same?

How long can you keep it in the sprayer
Thanks for watching & good question. We have talked to a few viewers that left it in sprayer canister for 30 days at the most.
Once you go to use it again, we recommend mixing it well prior to spraying again.

Is this just for paths? Do you know a pet friendly weedkiller for a whole lawn?

I don’t know if you have done a video on this but what do you recommend to get rid of mosquitoes in the backyard? I have tried lots of different chemicals, candles, I even bought a dynatrap. It’s a great product it catches all kinds of insects except for mosquitoes lol I even used expensive mosquito bate to lure them in, it did not work. I was hoping you could help me with some ideas or maybe you have used something that works and you don’t mind sharing your secrets. Thanks again.

Thanks for watching. We definitely are right there with you. We actually are in the process of ordering a Bat house. Looking at a few different designs.
According to some....1 bat eats hundreds of mosquitos per night. Now... whether that is 100% accurate or not...who knows... however we do know one hard fact and that is bats eat a boat load of mosquitoes every single night.
We have talked to many people about this and we just recently moved into a new house. Our neighbor has a bat house. He had nothing but good things to say about it.
Bats sleep all day and eat all night meaning the entire day we are awake and walking around our yard, the bats will be fast asleep inside the little bat house that we purchase and install on our house.
We Will definitely be making a video or two when it arrives. This may be something you want to entertain and or go through with and purchase a bat house and install it. Hope this helps.

Well if you are actually using bats you'd better make sure your house is sealed up as they will find Harboridge in your attic and or chimneys if you don't ever use them.
Salt and vinegar are probably not a good idea for concrete surfaces.
