- We're here in The Philippines 🇵🇭 after 42 hours of travel. This is our first time in SE Asia. We were supposed to start our full-time travel in SE Asia in 2020 but we know how that turned out.
Glad to finally be here and what better way to start our SE Asia journey than a month exploring The Philippines 🇵🇭.

For sure! That happens a lot all over the world so we didn’t let it get to us. Sometimes the power goes to people’s heads and they just like to tell others what to do. We had a great day and he was thankfully calm and nice about it. We still filmed though, because we know that’s not mall policy nor law 👍🏾.
@@NomadicIslanders There are malls/stores that do have policies against recording. You did the right thing. When asked, don't. Whip your camera out when out of sight. lol. That's what we all do.
Generally, high-end malls allow it. In budget malls where there are a lot of cheap products, don't record. They can and have gotten in trouble for selling illegal/fake products caught on someone's broadcasted videos.
Cameras with long sticks may be not allowed in certain areas to avoid disrupting other customers.

May is the hottest most humid month
It hasn’t been too too bad. We are from The Bahamas so know a lot about hot summers 😂. Only in Moalboal a few days were TOO hot (those videos are coming soon).
That makes sense, we're still enjoying our time here regardless of the heat & humidity 😁.
No April is the hottest. We have a weird weather right now due to global warming. It's been raining too early in the hot season
@@blp5840 April is the hottest by temperature, but it's dry season, so humidity is lower in April than any other month. May, on the other hand, is the transition between hot dry season and rainy season. So we have the heat of dry season, with the humidity of rainy season. So May feels hotter than April. May and June really feel hotter than any other month. Also, it may be global warming, but also consider that it's a La Nina year, which means it's rainier than usual. It happens every 3-5 years.

Manila may be hot, but it looks fun! We love Fanta and didn't know they were called Royal in some places.
Yea for sure there is so much to do & see here. We love Fanta too, yh were surprised to see that its called Royal here.
You can't call fanta the royal because royal thru orange is a product of coca-cola, same with the merinda orange a product of pepsi ,same also with fanta there is also a cola, fanta orange, fanta strawberry...just specific in ordering drinks so that you won't be confused.

Wonderful vlog. Yes, BGC is vlogger-friendly though certain establishments and some guards may still say videos aren't allowed which is unfortunate. I usually experience that in supermarkets and grocery stores. One time, I opened my bag and the guard saw the tip of my GoPro stick and asked what it was, so I took it out and told her it was for vlogging and she laughed and waved me through. 😀

Just to clarify, Royal is not Fanta, Royal is a Filipino brand it is 100 years old introduced in Ph in 1922 by San Miguel Corporation while Fanta was introduced in 1940 by Coca Cola. The Americans probably just copied it from Royal.

Welcome to the Philippines! Great video but editing needs improvement. Im glad that you have picked our country as your first stop. I suggest you try Filipino food in Cebu. Lechon should be first on your list. It pork roasted for many hours till perfection. Go to Rico's Lechon for that. You can try other Filipino food at Sugbo Mercato. It a night market there. Food is good and cheap as well. Hope you enjoy your stay in the Philippines! Cheers! 😊

We know it’s not Filipino😊. We had a hard time finding local food in that mall unfortunately. Don’t worry we had local food the next day and it was delicious 😋.
Mall of Asia is a must visit when in Manila..is you dare to be adventurous try balut.....while in maynila a trip thru tondo is just like being in bain town...
