downward years to come
glassy reveries
fire filled yesterdays
we are the depleted ones
the worlds forgotten sons
sit between my lips
more death then life in our breath
we don't gaze at gods
the gods gaze at us
watching roses sleep
in a blackened cloud of graves
in a harvest of stars
heaven seems so far
crawling in the depths
leaping from above
one hour to the next
downward years to come

We're very excited to have just signed these guys! Look for a new record in 2014!
..And what a record it was..
@@ramellamarco12 oh a classic
Anything ever come out of this band? Haven't heard much.
@deepfocus888 their album the great dismal was one of the best albums of 2020
I'm glad there's bands like Nothing making really good nu-gaze music
@@wesleinothingface8116Pretty much any shoegaze is gonna sound at least a little like MBV haha
I just realized that the phrase Downward Years to Come might mean that life gets worse after one leaves the innocence of childhood and is forced to confront the ugliness of the world.
The world isn't horrible, ppl are
@@martinarjona8815 I mean, Mother Nature is kind a cold-hearted bitch ...

Seeing these guys with Whirr next month......so excited.
First heard this song driving through the small, forgotten towns and never-ending fields of California’s Central Valley at night. Always think about that drive whenever I listen to this song. It was nice.
I love when music evokes memories and places
"glassy reveries
fire filled yesterdays
we are the bleeded ones,
the worlds forgotten sons"
Just... love.
I’ve been listening to Nothing for YEARS, I think since this album first came out. I’ve also been a massive Deftones fan since 96. It was only when I heard Slow Crush-Glow, that I realized they both sound like Be quiet and drive. Crazy.
I fking love that ambient noise from 3:40! Fking love it!!!!
amazing shoegaze sound return ,remind me 90's era!
awesome drummer
awesome band
the best shoegaze song i've come across lately. already classic!
Instant classic the first time i heard it
i'm a big fan of shoegaze and 80's 90's indie and this is awesome. there is hope
you should check out ringo deathstarr
I usually don't like these kind of "new-shoegaze" bands but this one is awesome!!!!!! I agree, there's hope still hahaha
i literally love this song sm
Superb stuff! Sorrowful, powerful and emotive.
Heavy, angst ridden guitar drones from the harder side of shoegaze. Best listened to at high volume (with earplugs if necessary). Fucking love this song!!
Holy shit, just discovered this band and I'm so glad I did. Incredible stuff
best song in this band
There is RIDE !!! so good 1
Good stuff, kinda reminds me of Amusement Parks on Fire
One day this girl will remember this cake and realize what it said .
Awesome, seriously adore this
Last part is bliss!!
not to categorize, but if Chapterhouse, Ride, Hum and Helmet had a baby, this is what it would sound like
Best I've heard in many years
pig destroyer/nothing tour!!! shoegazing grind!

My vitriol
glad im not the only one who picked up the similarity :)
Please come back to Mexico U_U
Noma esta la tocaron en el caradura, dichosos los que fueron a ese show en ese tiempo con la formacion original
Do you think these guys have ever listened to MBV or Slowdive?
I wonder.....
Why not ?
LOL
Sounds a lot like My Vitriol.
I thought the same..also a bit like amusement parks on fire...
I thought the same! Love My Vitriol!!!
What an underrated fucking band dude
shoegaze!
this music reminds me of deftones
Deftones, especially Chino Moreno, loves shoegazing. My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Hum are huge influences on their tone (some might not consider Hum a shoegazing band, but whatever).
@@markservilio2357 I think Hum counts. Personally, if you don't move a lot on stage and use a good amount of pedals, it's shoegazing. Might not be dreamy, but it counts.
Be quiet and drive
Fucking yessssssssssss!!!!!!!!
Slow Dive meets Husker Du. I diggit.
I didn't Steve Nash was in Nothing.
Most Christians, as I am, would summarily dismiss this as "secular" and and a work of darkness. But to me its a beautiful expression of living in the fleeting joys of childhood before the brutal aspects of human existence as it presently stands begins to show itself. A warning, well timed. (Check Placebo "Slave to the Wage") ol; P.S. I see some SY influence here to
+Kricograce Very well put! I think it's definitely about the loss of childhood innocence and thus adopting a brutal, animalistic persona. I always feel sad whenever I watch/listen to this track; beautiful yet melancholy. That's the power of great shoegaze.
Shoegaze
No. I won't be around.
Definitely influenced by Helmet and Dinosaur Jr.
Not My Bloody Valentine or Slowdive at all. #FML
Estee Tabernac I'll say ride influenced
Helmet? I don't hear it I'm afraid.
