it's really beautiful
fun fact: this song was written by tae after the dumpling incident with him and jimin when they met up in a park in the early morning to talk it out. hence the title, four o'clock. tae mentioned he has videos of drunk jimin from that night and that it was when the song was written during their unit interview for festa.
And Jimin don't know about that until the festa.

Just a fun fact: a boy named Adam who was suffering from autism since 5 years old, listened to this song and immediately fell in love with V's voice. And his mom even said that he listens to this song every night before going to bed. She also thanked V and the rest of BTS for creating such soothing songs. This song helped him come out of autism and be himself, be happy. Now Adam has even learned Korean and now he talks with everyone so confidently. V's voice literally has healing powers.
Edit: I guess some of ya'll misunderstood me. What I meant to say was that V's songs aided Adam and inspired him to create something on his own, so he was ready to come out of that shell. It was a part of the process, not the main thing that helped him. I don't know much about autism, but I know that it's something that can be made better, maybe not fully cured

Tae and Namjoon’s voices are so beautiful together. Joonie’s raspy voice and Taes deep, soulful voice just blend so well together. This song is so underrated
The way Taehyung had to insist that RM sings in this song instead of just rapping because he knows that has beautiful voice and he knows we want to hear RM sings.
This is such a heartfelt song,I wish they had another live of this song since this one had voice levels issues.. but we can't complain at least we had a preformance 😍

My first bias RM and my vocal line bias wrecker V together are just magic. RM is an amazing singer and he doesn't get the credit for it much, his guide vocals for Serendipity were beautiful. Sammy I hope you get to check out RM's Mono mixtape especially 'Moonchild' soon. 💜🤟🏻

RM helped him write this song which is about the morning after the famous dumpling fight with Jimin which they talked about recently. Tae said that fight inspired both 4OClock and Friends. He is talking to himself like a whisper. It was a huge fight so he stayed up all night thinking about it. I think RM represents Jimin.
This is one of my favorite friendships in BTS! I love how V admires RM and how RM supports V's projects, though he reminds him form time to time how RM thought in the beginning that V will never listen to him.

Taehyung's voice can make you sleepy because of it's softness and despite being a rapper there's something in Joon's voice which makes it calming
I love that tae's story is that he was waiting for Jimin after their right in the park and Joon wrote it after watching moonlight as a sequel to moonchild. His part seems to be consoling tae in a way. I love this song sm

This brings me back to the time when I always had a hard time sleeping and most of the time I was anxious and I didn't know why I could not sleep... then as I listen to this song I feel at ease and relaxed and like everything's gonna be alright.. played this on loop and I realize next morning that I've fallen asleep without any worries and felt like someone just gave me a warm hug...

this song is RM and V's lyrics and production, it's so peaceful that no matter how much stress you had in your day, when you listen to it you feel inner peace, and i like it when V pulls his amazing high notes but i have to admit that i like his deep rich quiet warm singing more, and RM was rapping a melodic rap in this song which is different from the usual rap, as RM and V are both baritones [ which means having a deep voice ] their BEAUTIFUL voices perfectly match together in this song .
