I basically live in NPC null space in Syndicate. It’s quiet, has Npc stations, and is right next to Solitude. It’s rural living so best to be self sufficient.

PL and horde are great people. Fighting them was awesome back in the day. Good sports that will bring such a fight with anything.
Excellent people to learn from as well. Even horde which is OTP has damn good standards of operation.

8 billion a month? 2 billion a week.... almost 300 million a day.... That's a lot of upkeep. That in addition to your fuel costs and upkeep and ship replacement if attacked.... That's several hours a day you need to commit to this game. I'd have to be unemployed to have that much time. So no... null sec solo is not possible for me. Thanks for the vid!

Yeah. Being part of such a machine is why fucking around in null is so much fun far from the cap lines. Renters don't even get cap support. What a hilarious one sided situation.

I have lived in nullsec most of my time on Eve and you are making this far too complex. I have 3 accts and all of the characters do PI and live in nullsec. The POCO tax rate in the POS system where I have lived for years is only 0.5%. The simple answer is that it is very easy to live in nullsec solo.
For 3 years, I lived in a POS in nullsec that is public - anyone could dock. I have no idea why it has been left alone, it is not part of any alliance, but I have been happily living there for years. Great bunch of people and didn't require anything from me. The only thing I didn't have access to was a clone bay. However, things have changed for me since last month. I found that there is an NPC station 5 jumps from where I've lived for years, I pass thru it on the way to hisec every time I go in and out of nullsec, that has manufacturing facilities, a clone bay, a repair bay, and market services available - for free. I am moving stuff out there now. Being an NPC station, it cannot be destroyed and EVERYTHING IS FREE! The cost index is 1/4 of the index where I do manufacturing in hisec (where I make 2 Jump Freighters a month). The POCO tax rate in the NPC system is 2.5%.
This is far from unique - there is another NPC station 2 jumps away that has the same services. I haven't experienced more ganking or anything, so I am very happy there. If you want to live in nullsec and don't want any of the hassles talked about here, look into the great NPC facilities that you can use! The NPC stations I use are owned by Thukker Tribe... There are also R&D and security agents available there.

You definitely can but it's a weird style of play, I live out of sov null (not in the alliance) for about a month out of an astero running data sites and dumping the loot into a depot. I couldn't believe I was able to duck the gate camps as long as I did, I'm also sure the locals loved me. I later got invited into one of the corps after I scared the shit out of a stratios by de-cloaking him with a jet can (yes I also hunted the local site runners) but I think he scared me more than I scared him, it was a fun time. It was over all a great learning experience that made me capable of operating in a very hostile environment, I got really good at watching d-scan, local, and my PvP overview while hacking a site.

Seems like a weird playstyle. Either just join a corp that has some relaxing rules that fit with your playstyle. Or, maybe try your luck in WH-space?

Volta is also renting out its space to others with advanced rulesets on what's allowed where. In x system, blue means red and you can only rat in subcaps, while in y system blue means purple, but you may only do relic/data sites, while this station with docking access in, you will be shot if they catch you docking.
