You're absolutely correct. Brand identity, marketing and product quality is what counts.

Steve, you're one of the few people online that actually provides valuable content. You've stimulated my 74 year old brain. It's never too late to move forward!

Steve, thanks for your reality check.
Presently, I'm prospecting the hosting and domain name market (I've watched your Bluehost video) with a view to set up my web store, and it is easy to rush into things, but your pragmatism was just what I needed at this stage.
I need to focus and start small, with definition.

Debunking the snake oil business is a good business to be in. So many "gurus" and "ninjas" throw up videos pitching ideas that are effective to people that don't know better, because people want to believe in a soft shimmery dream more than a cold harsh reality.
I have wanted to have a discussion about this for a long time. I am glad you and a few others are out here turning a light on the bogus carnival barkers.

Why should Amazon care, they're still making money. It is what it is, very unfortunate.

Great Video, thanks for the info 👍
Looking a little more into the definition of a brand. It is the image that exist in the people's mind of your company. It implies that your marketing assets help your audience to define what your brand is. It's not defined by you, but by them in their minds through their perception. So you end up with many brands since everyone makes their own.
This definition helps us move from the mindset of 'I define my brand' to a more powerful one: 'I provide th environment to help my audience have this kind of ideas in their mind about me and my biz'.
A gardener can't make a seed sprout, he only provides the right conditions for it to happen.
    Keep up the good work...

I’m glad to see this video! I’ve been reviewing some RUclips videos about selling books on Amazon. I own several hundred books that were published by my grandfather that I want to sell. Is Amazon a good platform? I’m concerned now based on your information. Is there a better platform to sell books? I’m willing to take orders and ship them myself. Can your course help us book sellers with e-commerce strategies?

Thank you for your information. Why didn't you shoot this video 5 monthes before?😀I launched my amazon business recently and I have spent already 10000$. I am running PPC, unfortunatrly no sales. I gave 30 products for free(Amazon Vine Program) to get reviews but no sales. It is too saturated there. I don't know what to do with my products(mattress protectors).

Rather than a total loss you can unload your products on eBay and Facebook marketplace etc ", theirs always other smaller markets to get rid of your items

If you want good information and a real program, you're not going to get it for free or cheap. Or you can spend hours days and weeks trying to put all this together off of RUclips or wherever you're going to get the information. Remember the adage, you get what you pay for. He's got the best program.
