I love that I only use it as a farm for in game currency which I’m still glad epic allows us to do. I imagine that they greatly regret putting that feature in the game. I just did quick maths. Each day you get a daily quest worth minimum of 80vbucks. Times that by 365 and you get 29200. Daily quests aren't always 80 either. Sometimes they are 90 and sometimes they can be 130. Plus that doesn't count all of the vbuck mission alerts you can or can't get everyday. Each alert can be worth 25, 30, 35 or 40 vbucks. STW is seasonal, and vbucks tend to pop up more often twice a year. Sept-Nov and Jan-Mar. Vbucks can still pop up at anytime on any day though, it is just they tend to get a lot more alerts during those seasons. Also, STW is broken up into 5 seasons a year, each with a different theme, different season questlines and different events. Dungeons is live right now this season, and is one of the most popular events in STW.

Stw is just perfect if you get tired of regular battleroyale it has completely different objectives and even though I mostly play different modes and in this order: MurMystery, BR, and festival STW is just nice to relax ,build cool forts and upgrade my weapons n stuff there’s also seasonal events not to mention you can technically play as older battlepass skins by unlocking the hero’s or using a hero vouchers earned by lvling up inside the venture mode which is super fun to play imo and probably the best part is tons of battle pass xp
i don't know much about lego Fortnite, but from what i've seen and played, i don't think lego and stw are similar at all. Lego seems more like a open world building/survival type game like Minecraft. Fortnite STW is a looter shooter with a storyline and tower defense aspects. Other games that are in the looter shooter genre include Warframe, Destiny 2 and etc. I love these types of games because of the grind. It feels so rewarding playing missions and getting super strong weapons and rare loot in a video game. I also love engaging in the story for some of these games because they tend to be heavily lore driven which is just a plus factor. Fortnite STW has kind of perfected its replay-ability with added ways of upgrading your power further through new seasonal based modes (ventures) which play like a fresh start without needing to sacrifice anything in return, as well as the ability to earn daily free vbucks. You kind of just have a reason to get on it everyday, and when you play with friends, its soooo fun. The only reason people would have not to play it is because epic never finished the game and added any new story driven content. We were kind of just left on a cliffhanger and that's how its been for over 4-5 years now. I think epic has been shifting Fortnite into this metaverse or a game hosting platform because its the easiest way for them to make money with the least effort. If this is how the company wants to go, the chances of STW getting brand new content updates just declines further and further with no light at the end of the tunnel, which is very unfortunate too because i feel as if, if battle royale never became a thing, Fortnite would still be successful to this day regardless. Maybe not "as" successful, but successful non-the less. I just have too much of a love for these types of games.
I've been playing a LOT more in stw because of ventures at first I was afraid it was going too much grind or difficult for me but it turns out wasn't and in ventures u get a ton of resources so it made it worth grinding but stw needs a better way to focus farm resources cuz a lot of players are trying to duplicate resources just to keep up with playing solo since it forces u to spam traps whenever ur playing hard mission solo, also they should rework A LOT of hereos since they're useless I hope they focus on making them FUN instead needing to do a lot
Save the world is the definition of a game to me I love BR and only play it because of my friends but if save the world ever got deleted I’d quit the game most likely funny how a mode which receives no attention still has more action that festival or rocket racing
I love stw, i play it a bit more than every other game mode and love it! I bought it back in season 8 chapter 1, every battle pass ive gotten for free every season, and besides battle passes, atleast 30% of my locker is full of skins bought from free v bucks. and i have like 280 skins.
They should have made Save the World free to play once they took the vbucks out of it. Since we don't know what the future of the game holds with Lego and the new open world mode coming i just don't see a point in investing my time AND money into Save the World
I think there's like, a pretty simple answer as to why STW is still here and also why it's sometimes more popular than the other modes: a) *It's a Paid Game:* People paid real-world money for it. So not only would it be a REALLY bad move for Epic to just straight up delete it. But also it can provide a bit of a sunk cost incentive for those who still have it. "I paid money for this, might as well actually play it/ keep playing it" b) *It's had YEARS of Development:* Of course, since it was the start of Fortnite, much of it probably went into technical backend stuff or making the foundations of the game itself. But it was also what Epic originally planned to be the core primary experience of Fortnite. So of course they had to FULLY flesh it out and give it EVERYTHING you would expect from a game of it's genre and size. Given that Fortnite BR is only NOW reaching the same level of development time and has come so far in said time, is also crazy. STW is a bigger, more expansive mode, because it was meant to be THE Mode and thus had ton of effort put into it before it's cancellation. c) *Dedicated Playerbase:* As you've said, games of this type are much more involved and time consuming than something like BR and Rocket Racing. Because of that, I'd say that's why it has a small, yet consistent number of players. (similiar to LEGO Fortnite) Not everyone has the time or energy or willingness to invest so much into a game. But those who do, will REALLY play it, and keep at it for ages. It's one of the main reasons why despite loving LEGO Fortnite, I rarely play it. *I just don't have the time!* (You've gotta spend ATLEAST 30+ minutes in one session if you are to get anything done.) Meanwhile, for BR you can just hop on for a couple quick games or some fast races in RR. Overall, I agree that STW may be the better mode now. It should also be pointed out that you ARE comparing a mode that has had YEARS of work put into it with the expectation that it'll be a full-blown game to a game mode that's had less than a year's worth of Content Updates (and who knows how much development time prior to that) which is also treated as just one of many experiences within an ever expanding platform that expects most of the content to come from Creators in UEFN. And I'd argue that a bunch of what STW has kinda wouldn't apply/ fit in LEGO FN either. LEGO FN appears to be more focused on it's Sandbox Aspect and is geared to a Younger Audience (3+) compared to STW's more Campaign focus and Teen Audience. I'd say LEGO FN is more comparable to Minecraft with some Terraria elements in that regard. So LEGO FN will probably always strive to be simpler, easier, and not give you too many clear goals so that it can stick to it's target audience of apparently literal 3 year olds. *TL;DR* Both are great games for what they are. But they are a tad bit incomparable due to the many factors surrounding them. I do wish STW could get more love, but with the lucrative potential of The Metaverse, everything that doesn't serve that goal kinda pales in comparison... Excited for LEGO FN's future though! If nothing else, they could atleast put the Weapons and Items from STW in Creative for Map Makers to use..
I believe I made it clear about Lego Fortnite that they will likely FLUSH it out. However, if they leave it as it is - with no viable endgame or some sort of raid content OR SOMETHING- Lego will fall below STW in less than six months. That said, there’s a big content update coming in a few days, so we’ll see what the Klombo brings. This was more of a warning for Lego But I have faith in epic AND THE 1.5 BILLION FROM KIRKBI
@@MrJayOWhy I have a feeling they're already doing this already, but they should take another page from Minecraft's book and have each update be centered around content appealing to the various audiences/ groups that play LEGO FN. What you're asking for here with Raid-Style Content would probably be a more combat focused update similiar to the recent Tricky Trials update in Minecraft. Past LEGO FN updates have been mainly for the creative/ builder audiences of LEGO FN with new vehicles and building pieces. The last update was mostly a quality of life one with a few toys. (again, for the builder/ creative audience) And the next one seems to be for the more exploratory players. So if they keep a mix of content each update or just rotate between who each update is for, I'd say they'll already succeed very nicely...

isn’t it wild that even one of the most innovative and successful companies in gaming history can’t even care to support save the world like battle royale? it’s really sad to see
it all started when they refused to make stw go f2p, corporate greed was the downfall of save the world and it makes me so upset that it’ll never change. i know im being dramatic over a video game but stw is genuinely the coolest game ive ever played and i hate that it was just thrown away like this. without the success stw had at launch, br probably wouldn’t even exist!! ughhh 😭
yeah stw will get occasional heroes and bug fixes but you can’t convince me those are actual meaningful updates, they literally left the story 75% done and said quits. and if they really wanted to add more monetization to stw they could just add its own battlepass!! just like rocket racing, fortnite festival, and lego….i really don’t know why that’s not a thing when stw consistently gets more players than rocket racing and fortnite festival, sometimes even lego
also, i guess ventures can be seen as a battle pass already(?) but it would be nicer to see more stw inspired cosmetics than the monthly $18 starter packs….okay rant over tldr: epic games sucks for abandoning stw
If we could use Save the World character skins in BR mode. I would buy it but why? Why unlock stuff to not be able to use for the game as a whole. Why can't we use StW skins in BR? Dumb af.

Way more appropriate for children then BR. NO PvP only PvE. Its also probably the reason why Epic was able to market an online shooting game with voice and chat comms to 12+ and not 16+ like the rest of the suckers in the industry. If they remove it, they might have to upgrade to 16+ ;) Lego and other NEW maps are really targeting the 6 years olds ... what you are saying in misunderstanding the direction of Epic Games :)

the thing is that the people who purchased it and still play it would get MAD if epic just removed it without compensation
and to right you should be if they do!!!!!
Stw is just perfect if you get tired of regular battleroyale it has completely different objectives and even though I mostly play different modes and in this order:
MurMystery, BR, and festival STW is just nice to relax ,build cool forts and upgrade my weapons n stuff there’s also seasonal events not to mention you can technically play as older battlepass skins by unlocking the hero’s or using a hero vouchers earned by lvling up inside the venture mode which is super fun to play imo and probably the best part is tons of battle pass xp
Grinding XP in BR can be stressful
So games like STW, Lego and others are just so chill
@@MrJayOWhy This seasons Daily BR XP cap is over 400k in STW. It's a great way to earn BR XP, especially with Dungeons.
i don't know much about lego Fortnite, but from what i've seen and played, i don't think lego and stw are similar at all.
I've been playing a LOT more in stw because of ventures at first I was afraid it was going too much grind or difficult for me but it turns out wasn't and in ventures u get a ton of resources so it made it worth grinding but stw needs a better way to focus farm resources cuz a lot of players are trying to duplicate resources just to keep up with playing solo since it forces u to spam traps whenever ur playing hard mission solo, also they should rework A LOT of hereos since they're useless I hope they focus on making them FUN instead needing to do a lot
i was Playing stw since 2019 and never got bored of it. Peak game mode.
Save the world is the definition of a game to me I love BR and only play it because of my friends but if save the world ever got deleted I’d quit the game most likely funny how a mode which receives no attention still has more action that festival or rocket racing
I love stw, i play it a bit more than every other game mode and love it! I bought it back in season 8 chapter 1, every battle pass ive gotten for free every season, and besides battle passes, atleast 30% of my locker is full of skins bought from free v bucks. and i have like 280 skins.
thats awesome
stw also has something lego mode doesn't have: "free" vbucks
of course for founders you have that.. but i think theirs a a lot of charm to it
They should have made Save the World free to play once they took the vbucks out of it. Since we don't know what the future of the game holds with Lego and the new open world mode coming i just don't see a point in investing my time AND money into Save the World
because i didn't get twin peaks endurance banner yet
Stw still updates, just very rare
yeah but the story is "finished" now despite being unifinished
I think there's like, a pretty simple answer as to why STW is still here and also why it's sometimes more popular than the other modes:
a) *It's a Paid Game:* People paid real-world money for it. So not only would it be a REALLY bad move for Epic to just straight up delete it. But also it can provide a bit of a sunk cost incentive for those who still have it. "I paid money for this, might as well actually play it/ keep playing it"
b) *It's had YEARS of Development:* Of course, since it was the start of Fortnite, much of it probably went into technical backend stuff or making the foundations of the game itself.
This was more of a warning for Lego
But I have faith in epic
AND THE 1.5 BILLION FROM KIRKBI
Battle Royale has had far more resources and years of development also. Likely more than Save The World at this point.
Save the world is peak idgaf. I want epic to give stw another chance, but make it like destiny. Would genuinely be so cool.
Fingers crossed
Hoping twine peaks story one day gets coutuined as a og on battle royal and save the world 😅
Fingers crossed
I started playing Chapter 1 s2; I play all the modes, but play Br for wins, stw for free bucks because I've completed stw [highest PL 145] Festival & lego for free cosmetics.
Msk: use to do carries, beat it in 5 mins 🙂
Are you…. Him 🫨
@@MrJayOWhy 😇
Because it’s brilliant. I like shooting zombies and using traps.
A love STW... I joined and started playing it over BR around BR season 3. Only started playing BR about season 5 😆
Even today, with all the map changes and change in meta's. I still prefer STW, and I lucked out by getting a founders pack for the free vbucks 🤟😝
Founders for the win 😢
isn’t it wild that even one of the most innovative and successful companies in gaming history can’t even care to support save the world like battle royale? it’s really sad to see
it all started when they refused to make stw go f2p, corporate greed was the downfall of save the world and it makes me so upset that it’ll never change. i know im being dramatic over a video game but stw is genuinely the coolest game ive ever played and i hate that it was just thrown away like this. without the success stw had at launch, br probably wouldn’t even exist!! ughhh 😭
yeah stw will get occasional heroes and bug fixes but you can’t convince me those are actual meaningful updates, they literally left the story 75% done and said quits. and if they really wanted to add more monetization to stw they could just add its own battlepass!! just like rocket racing, fortnite festival, and lego….i really don’t know why that’s not a thing when stw consistently gets more players than rocket racing and fortnite festival, sometimes even lego
also, i guess ventures can be seen as a battle pass already(?) but it would be nicer to see more stw inspired cosmetics than the monthly $18 starter packs….okay rant over
tldr: epic games sucks for abandoning stw
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
STW has more players than lego 🎉
If we could use Save the World character skins in BR mode. I would buy it but why? Why unlock stuff to not be able to use for the game as a whole. Why can't we use StW skins in BR? Dumb af.
They have to update the file system for stw that's why it doesn't get as many updates
@@ProfitusMaximus cool
i’m sure I remembered a dev saying something similar about updating the chapter 1 map.
That it was just hard work because of how it was made it or something
@@MrJayOWhy i just PRAAAAY THAT THEY HURRY UP!!!!!I'm lvl 134 with NOTHING ELSE TO DO!!!😭😭😭😭 but stw is legit why i fell in love with fortnite
Don’t say that, Save the World is 🔥🔥. How else will I get my daily free v-bucks
what do you mean!!! my conclusion was its a really good game even if the likes of me don't get free v bucks😩
@@MrJayOWhy Nah I’m just saying, your video was very good and informative, great vid👍🏾
@@MrJayOWhyyou had to buy save the world before 2020 or buy the founder bundle to get free v bucks from
misssions
Hey, do you wanna play Save the world? I’m a high enough power level to show you the storm king if you want to
Also, I can help you on your quest or missions if you want
could do. might have to fit some STW streams in to my schedule.. but... the storm king you say 💀
@@MrJayOWhy yeh
Fortnite Save the World is just fun, you dont f*ck over others with stupidly builds or Weapons. You just enjoy a game with 3 others and have fun. I played it trough almost completly and i have to say that it id not finished, the story is cut off and needs to be finished
Not worth buying rn cause founder period was long ago
Yes bc it’s a source of earning v-bucks
as usefull as that is, i believe it has a bit of charm too
When I am pissed with battle Royale I play save the world
awesome
why did you start with a 130 legendary sword
I only remembered after the video
I think someone just gave it to me after begging to play one game of stw like 2 years ago
if you ever need help with save the world i can defintely make iot happen
"This game mode" check your info bruh, Battle Royale is the game mode :) Save the World is the real Fortnite.
To be clear, Save The World is kind of like Minecraft for 12+ better guns better zombies.
By 'game mode,' I was talking about the form of the game itself in its defense of Battle Royale a rythm game and a open world lego game. I mean, in the intro, I said that without 'Save the World,' you wouldn't have everything else.
I meant no disrespect. I was literally telling people in the video to jump on the game if they have it it deserves more love. I really enjoyed playing it. im sorry jordan
Bcz I like it.
awesome
STW is carried by vbucks incentive. It's worth the money but I love vbucks just a little more. The story does fall behind towards the end which is sad because thats what kept me entertained though the grind
I mean many franchises struggle to close out a story
